That ice section is the main reason I didn’t map the way to the lake from that side, most years it gets ALOT worse, you guys crossed it perfectly! Shame you weren’t able to make it down to the river spot! It’s one of my favourites to spend the weekend at and relax when snowed out of the high elevations. Awesome video!

I love people who speak in celcius like -6 is that cold lol. It sounds cold cuz there is a minus but its like 21 fahrenheit. In Colorado thats just chilly lol.
@LetsGetLost. I can't argue with that lol. I grew up in Pennsylvania which is super humid and humidity really does make things feel worse. Same with wind so I get ya. I am super impressed you spent 5 hours in that snow section and didn't lose it lol. I snow wheel but when it becomes like that and it's just a slog and no fun I am fine tapping out. Unfortunate you guys were almost out of gas cuz I'm sure ya wanted to too
@@seanwatson3790 oh yea!! All I wanted to do was tap out!! Got so worn out I had to just stop filming and focus on getting out! We didn’t have enough fuel left after getting into it to turn around and come out the way we got in!

🤷♂️ I’m Canadian so I use Celsius. Plus Vancouver island has a very damp climate so when it get this cold it feels alot colder!
