      Advanced Knife Bro Thank you for replying. I was thinking of getting either the gt or tm03.

    Really like the runtime test. I bought this light after watching your review. Runtime test is very important because I would not buy this light if it steps down from 1100 lumens to 400 in 2 minutes. Keep up the good work.

    How do you like the performance of Klarus's turbo mode comparing to Nightcore's? I am just a tiny bit close to buy their new G20 instead of NC tm03

    • @AdvancedKnifeBro
      @AdvancedKnifeBro  8 лет назад

      I would wager to say you won't get a ton of turbo runtime on the Nitecores, because of the single battery and the size of the light. I won't be reviewing the G20, but I will be reviewing the TM03 sometime this month.

    • @vxgas
      @vxgas 8 лет назад

      thanks. I think I'd prefer G20 mostly for its more carriable size and the 5000mah battery.

    I may be too dumb for this flashlight, thanks for the review Knife Bro

      Ha. If I were a dude that needed a light in conjunction with a weapon... or just for self defense, this light is nice. Unfortunately I use lights for boring old work.

    Is the Klarus XT 11S as bright as a Surefire E2D Ultra LED Defender ?

    • @AdvancedKnifeBro
      @AdvancedKnifeBro  7 лет назад

      +Chesty Puller that particular flashlight puts out about 500 lumens. The klarus is at least twice as bright.

    Do you think 1100 lumen strobe and 1100 turbo are enough for us to defend again bad guys ?
    I mean can it make one guy can't see anything ?

    • @AdvancedKnifeBro

      I mean if it’s dark enough yes... but I have never used it in a situation like that.

    which small rechargeable 1000 lumen flashlight do you think is the best?

    • @AdvancedKnifeBro
      @AdvancedKnifeBro  8 лет назад

      +Speecher probably the Nitecore mh20gt or the mh20. The GT for more throw and the mh20 for a shorter range use light.

      What are your thoughts on the Klarus G20. It's a little thicker but 3x the brightness. Perhaps 3000 lumens in a mini is just a gimick, but that could be fun to have.

    :/ so Id like to start by saying I love your videos! however I can't make up my mind :( I have a pd35 tac and need a secondary light with medium range and a usable spill. I've been trying to decide between a mh27, mh20gt and the Klaus xt11s. most comparisons between mh20gt and xt11s I've seen show equal brightness... except yours. I was wondering what your opinion was between the 3 and any recommendation you may have. my biggest complaint with my pd35 tac is the lack of a battery indicator. the tint had my other half sold as I wanted a p12gt. ugh woman haha thanks again for your awesome reviews!

      The Klarus seems to be more in line with what you need. The candela on the MH20Gt is slghtly higher, but not by much... so in theory it can throw slightly further... but You're going to have more spill on the XT11S, because of the higher lumens and the ever so slightly less candela rating. Plus the MH20GT has no tailcap controls. I prefer the MH20GT because it has a lower low mode, and it's more pocketable.
      Oh and the MH27. that'll give you a higher contrast hot spot versus spill. But you get a ton more throw for longer range targets. So the MH27 if you need a longer range light with a brighter hotspot... the the XT11S if you need a bit more spill. Also the XT11S has easy access to strobe and turbo from the tailcap. I'd wager to say you need to be on your intended mode on the MH27. I can't say for sure. If you use strobe rarely or never, then it's a moot point. But you can also change modes from the tailcap switch in classic tactical and outdoor on the XT11S.
      Hope this helps.

      thanks it dose indeed. we do night hikes every night and quite a few times we been in sketchy locations with a follower or 2 that we were unable to identify. we ended up at a disadvantage exiting a 1/2 mile long underground tunnel with a unknown individual stalking from behind making some interesting sounds :/ were either in the woods or on rail tracks and this next light will be for safety purposes mainly for my other half. the pd35 tac lacks any throw and we end up killing a few cells a hike easily. really wish there was a light that could sustain 1000+ lumes without a quick drop for a decent amount of time. been eyeing up a few 25560 lights but nothing appeals to me. I'd love to see a PD40 review :) I've read it drops very fast unfortunately.

    When will you do a video on how to make a RUclips backyard shelter? BTW, glad to see this light has a matte black to make ninja skull crushing that much more stealthy.

    My issue with this "1st batch" of the XT11S is the glass lens falls out of the light when the bezel is removed, not a good design. I own both the XT12 and the XT11S... on the XT12, the glass lens is protected behing a metal lip, which is how the XT11S should have been made. I use the Klarus extended bezel which is exactly like default regular bezel only more aggressive. I've been a user/purchaser of Klarus for years, I'm very disappointed in its design that allows the glass lens to fall out onto the floor when you take the bezel off... as well as the bezel presses right up against the glass which it tightened fully can easily crack the glass lens.

    • @AdvancedKnifeBro
      @AdvancedKnifeBro  8 лет назад +1

      I guess that's something I've never noticed before. Most flashlights I own with a removable bezel are constructed very similarly to this. I mean I noticed the construction, but never thought twice about it- because it seems standard for many other flashlights. Do you change the bezel often during use?

    That lens looks like you could project the Batman call sign with it.

    Noticed some background noise in the background of your last two videos, You live down the block from a shooting range or something? lol

      It's around the 4th. When I'm reviewing several lights I do all my beamshots at once, and pick and choose the lights I need for comparison based upon the light I'm reviewing. I think some of it is fireworks and others are guns.

    More tactical than this for me, only if I could order a single-mode (Turbo) Convoy C8 with a momentary-able forward clicky switch. As it is, this looks like a sick self-defense tool.
    Who're you kidding, man? You're easily the most tactical bro on the Chube! You just don't go all gung-ho mall ninja about it.

      I'm currently working on a Nitecore TM03 review... which is actually very similar in operation to this. Except the TM03 blows this out of the water in brightness.

      Is it gonna be an extra-tactical review for an even more tactical light?

    What does a tactical ring do?

    • @AdvancedKnifeBro
      @AdvancedKnifeBro  8 лет назад

      +Howlin000 I think it's a thing where you can hold it next to a pistol because it has that grove. That's what I've read. About the only functional thing it does for a person like me is keep it from rolling when laying it down.

    No review on the GT?

    • @AdvancedKnifeBro
      @AdvancedKnifeBro  7 лет назад

      +John Iringan not at this time. Honestly I wasn't a big fan of the buttons and UI on the xt11s so I wasn't much interested in the GT. A lot of people like it though, but it just isn't my cup of tea. I don't currently have plans for reviewing any klarus lights coming up.

    • @jbe210
      @jbe210 7 лет назад +1

      Thank you for the reply! I was looking to get either the GT or the TM03.

    • @AdvancedKnifeBro
      @AdvancedKnifeBro  7 лет назад

      +John Iringan I personally like the tm03 because the Ui is less complicated. Plus the TM03 now has a better tint option. Now if you need a bit more throw then maybe go with the GT.

    It can't be _truly_ tactical unless it has a skull etched into it, camo patterned, and a brass knuckle deployment.
