No, according to Moza Xbox is currently blocking access to a lot of games, the list of games on Moza website is all that it can be used on and wont be updated unless Xbox allows access
@@dylansalcedo8828currently the R5 base is 299 on the Moza website. The Xbox R3 bundle is new but with Moza being very aggressive with prices we might see the bundle for under 300 eventually once more Xbox compatible wheels enter the ecosystem
In regards to the PlayStation compatibility part. Having the security chip in the base is by far the better option than having it in the steering wheel. Most people buy one wheel base and have multiple steering wheels for different types of racing games. It’s makes much more sense to buy the wheel base you want and then purchase separate steering wheels rather than being restricted to one wheel forever or until they release another Xbox wheel which will be few and far between. Once Moza make a compatible base for PlayStation you’ll be able to use every wheel in the moza eco system which is the smarter option
@@roeylevi6406 they only sell the Xbox wheel as a bundle so if you had the R5 and wanted the Xbox wheel, you have to buy it with the base and the pedals, again proving my point that having the security chip in the base like PlayStation wheels have is a far better option

And apparently it doesnt work on f124 or f1 23 either. Yeesh. So no ACC or F1. Pretty much the 2 biggest racing games on xbox do not work. So the R3 is a bit of a paper weight at the moment.
@GeekStreet - Thank you for the review of the new Moza R3. As an avid sim racer on console playing ACC and F1 2023, I am surprised you did not mention these glaring omissions in your review. I really don’t see the hype about this wheel for console users only when two of the top racing sim games for Xbox are not compatible with Moza R3. I reached out to Moza support this week and they confirmed that neither of these excellent sim racing games are compatible which is ridiculous. Thank you

Sadly as soon as I got my R3 I couldn’t wait to try it out, I made sure to be gentle with plugging in the cords but upon plugging in the usb into the wheel base, a white plastic broke off and it now won’t connect to my Xbox, it powers on, moza app says it’s working fine, but sadly the usb port in the wheel base broke incredibly easily, emailed moza about a fix (which I doubt) and most likely replacing the r3 base. Could use some help in this issue 😅
Moza actually responded to certain reviewers about this, apparently Xbox is currently blocking it on a lot of games and might not be allowed to get them working on more modern games like ACC and F1 games, the list Moza has is all the games that are allowed and possibly wont change due to Xbox
Will say the MOZA R3 is looking pretty good. Weird that it supports AC Competizione on PC but not Xbox? Regardless, deffo nice to have another cheaper wheel out there. Always a good thing. Especially since you can use other wheel bases with it

Is that compatible with Thustmaster shifter?
For PC, no problems if that shifter is plugged in via USB. For XBox? No
No es compatible con el último Forza Motorsport???
Pues vaya castaña!
3.9? dam what a shame
Bit of kick in the teeth to people who have already spent mega money on the higher models

Does it work in ACC?
Not at this moment in time.
For now support is enabled
PlayStation compatibility would be nice…
Bro is literally promoting addidas
does it work with F1 24?
No, according to Moza Xbox is currently blocking access to a lot of games, the list of games on Moza website is all that it can be used on and wont be updated unless Xbox allows access
edit, yes it does now after a game update
Nope, unless it's PS5 compatibility
Fanatec is better
if this was like 250-300 it would actually be worth it
No moza wheel is gonna be 250 or 300, if u want a wheel for that price range, go for a Logitech 😂
the cammus c5 is prolly what u want in that price range
@@dylansalcedo8828currently the R5 base is 299 on the Moza website.
The Xbox R3 bundle is new but with Moza being very aggressive with prices we might see the bundle for under 300 eventually once more Xbox compatible wheels enter the ecosystem
@@SeanBerdin nah, you need to pay tax 75€ and you pay total 390€ for the pack

Will it work on F1 24?
same question if it is work for xsx F1 24.
Once Moza make a compatible base for PlayStation you’ll be able to use every wheel in the moza eco system which is the smarter option
but now you can upgrade for more N.m and just buy different es rim
or, if you already own a R5 and wanted xbox compabillity you can simply buy the wheel and enjoy the high N.m
@@roeylevi6406 they only sell the Xbox wheel as a bundle so if you had the R5 and wanted the Xbox wheel, you have to buy it with the base and the pedals, again proving my point that having the security chip in the base like PlayStation wheels have is a far better option
@@SoPhATy You realise that this isn't the fault of the manufacturer but from Xbox? Fanatec has the same situation with their mclaren gt rim which has the xbox chip in the wheel as well.
@@gr1mreeper What part of my comment made you think I was pointing fingers at Moza. I am aware that this is Xbox’s doing
Damn moza cooked
🔥
And apparently it doesnt work on f124 or f1 23 either. Yeesh. So no ACC or F1. Pretty much the 2 biggest racing games on xbox do not work. So the R3 is a bit of a paper weight at the moment.
Ordered an R3 today, it's replacing a Logitech MOMO. Hopefully it will be an upgrade. :)
As of right now, the Moza R3 is £400 and the Moza R5 is £460, so unless you’re exclusively looking for console support, I’d just go with the R5.
Another very helpful detailed review bro, nice one 👍🏼

@GeekStreet - Thank you for the review of the new Moza R3.
As an avid sim racer on console playing ACC and F1 2023, I am surprised you did not mention these glaring omissions in your review.
I really don’t see the hype about this wheel for console users only when two of the top racing sim games for Xbox are not compatible with Moza R3. I reached out to Moza support this week and they confirmed that neither of these excellent sim racing games are compatible which is ridiculous. Thank you
Thanks, actually I mention ACC compatibility at 9:11 but yes a real shame
@@GeekStreet My apologies. I missed that in your review. My bad!
Yes it is crazy how this wheel, which I’ve been waiting months for, is not compatible with these sim games.
Placing my Fanatec order today despite the extra cost with QR2 add ons and shipping.
Thanks again
I'm new to all this, but is it possible these games will get xbox support in future update?
@@Chilll87 We can only hope. I would hope Moza listens to all the negative feedback and YT reviews about this issue. That said, I contacted Moza several months ago before release about this and didn’t get any response. This was clearly rushed to market without support for #1 racing sim on Xbox.
From my perspective, I am not willing to wait an unknown period of time and am taking my chances with the Fanatec route.
Good luck in your decision
@@CJ-ks3ii thanks for reply
Does it work in carx
This is actually pretty tempting...was thinking G923 but seeing that the shifter etc. does still work on the Xbox I'm leaning towards this!
Can I have it😊
At this point, this is a no brainer for anyone who is looking to get into sim racing
Do you think this would come to ps? I am wanting to purchase a direct drive, I am considering the Logitech Pro but the price is a lot for someone who is new to the hobby. The MOZA R3 would be ideal as a starter wheel if it was coming to playstation in the future.
No news on that yet unfortunately
Yo street hope you doing great I was about to ask which wheel to buy for 2k dollars for console hope u see this message fast as I in the line of about to order the g pro wheel and pedals with the cockpit

@@GeekStreet is fanatec better ?
@RealSGPlays it really depends on the experience you're after the advantage of FANATEC is a large ecosystem and both xbox and playstation are supported
@@GeekStreet I am on PlayStation so i don’t really know man I’m confused as hell I am either going for Logitech or fanatec yk what gimme ur honest opinion on both and then ill select
@@GeekStreet and also I have a video idea. Review the fanatec gt dd extreme and compare it with Logitech that would be a great video and would also help me decide which to go for
Thanks for the review, really useful. Been looking to upgrade from a G923 on Xbox and will definitely consider this. Moza R3.

Good first impression on R3, do you think this would be a good fit for Euro Truck Sim2 and American Truck Sim?
I was thinking of going for the R5 but now...this is a good price for this bundle 😊
Yes it's perfect to that
i have the R12 coming off the R5 all's i play is ets2 & ats , you'd be fine with either the R3 or R5 , i didnt even run my R5 at full nm anyway
@@browney24 thx
not having usb c on a product released in 2024 is criminal
This was such a smart move for the Brand! The brand is already beloved and now since they updated their firmware to be able to function on the consoles, that was such an obvious but smart move. Moza is listening to its Customers and all the Great Companies that actually listen to their Customers ALWAYS have the BEST Success!!! Why? Cause they understand its not about egos here and a single Man type of Company... There is ONLY A TEAM that will make you reach your Goals. Without even a secretary, you wouldnt know your appointments and all the details about it. You'd miss all of them, cause you're soo busy!! Anyways... Love what Moza is doing!! Keep goin!! >;))

@@GeekStreet They had something going on so it didnt release sadly but finally im still thinking going R5 or R3 coming from a T300RS
I'd like to buy the R3 without the pedals but with the rim and base. I can use my T-LCM pedals with it on pc.
I guess you better buy the R5 if you wanna use that on PC
So is it compatible with an Xbox one X?
Yes, but you need series x definitely
do you think this wheel will is gonna function with acc?
Moza actually responded to certain reviewers about this, apparently Xbox is currently blocking it on a lot of games and might not be allowed to get them working on more modern games like ACC and F1 games, the list Moza has is all the games that are allowed and possibly wont change due to Xbox
@@mightymushroom4980 bro i hate xbox for that. why wouldn’t they allow this? now im actually thinking if i should buy a ps5 damn.
@@kubyy90 I know it disappointed me when the reviewers I watched talked about it, I was going to buy it until Moza admitted Xbox is fucking them over
Will say the MOZA R3 is looking pretty good. Weird that it supports AC Competizione on PC but not Xbox?
Regardless, deffo nice to have another cheaper wheel out there. Always a good thing. Especially since you can use other wheel bases with it
Wait.....i cant play ac on xbox with it? Bruhhhh
@@wassssssuupACC. The AC on xbox works fine with the R3
How can this not work with ACC?
Blame Xbox, Moza responded to other reviewers and stated it is Xbox that is blocking them full access
