@Nancy McNafferson I know exactly where you are coming from 💯 Our little Chihuahua had slipped by my feet when I opened the back door. It was a fluke. She was so tiny that I turned back to step back inside & she remained outside! After like 10 minutes, I went into the living room where she usually slept on her blanket atop the couch. She was not there. Slight panic...I started calling her.. rising panic. I started running through the house looking everywhere. Couldn't find her. I was freaking out, hyperventilating my heart was already breaking. I ran out front into the gated yard. She was no where to be found. I thought I was going to die. I opened the back door & by the grace of God she was 8 feet beyond the bottom of the staircase. Had she made it out to the street, cars are always racing by & we have packs of coyotes that walk/run right by there & take people's cats & whatever they can get. I will never ever forget it. Forevermore after that event, I always watched to make sure that she did not slip out the door undetected ever again.

I have personal experience with CPS regarding a similar injury. My daughter attends a small in home daycare run by a childhood friend. She has had this daycare for over 20 years with no incident. About a year a ago, one of the little boys tripped over his brother and broke the younger brother's femur. It wasn't realized right away because the baby looked fine and was already a little fussy from colic. That night the leg was swollen, so the parents took him to CHKD. CPS was called. The daycare was shut down for 4 months. The CPS worker flat out accused my friend of lying and abuse despite no history. CPS wanted me to take my child to CHKD and get a full body scan- 27 x-rays for a two-year-old. At my expense. When I refused to subject my child, who was displaying no sign of injury, to all that radiation, they threatened to remove her from my custody. I offered to take her to my pediatrician, but was told "no". I stood my ground, and in the end the daycare was allowed to reopen, but I can see how a parent with no resources could lose their child, or children, on the whim of a CPS worker. (Cue Stephanie, "The system is broken!")

My oldest fractured his leg at 2.5, during a temper tantrum. It happened early in the morning and I didn't think the fall was enough to do any real damage, but my son wasn't walking afterwards. I gave him painkillers and iced the sore leg. I even used elastic bandages to wrap his leg, but he didn't walk. When after his nap he still wouldn't walk, I took him to the hospital. Well after X-rays from his hips to his toes, and a blood test we were sent home with no answers around midnight. I was told to bring him back in the morning if he still wasn't walking. Well we were back the next day, and they did an ultrasound, more blood work and much consulting with the children's hospital, they determined that the hair fine line on the X-ray above his ankle was a fracture.
I was fortunate that the sort of fracture wasn't considered suspicious, and it was determined that the area where the fracture was, was a weak point caused by the uneven way his bones were calcifying.

I have two boys on the spectrum and one was an escape artist when he was 3. I also have Crohn’s disease and sometimes would “be called” to the porcelain throne at the worst times. As a single mom, I would often leave the door to the bathroom cracked so I could keep an ear out.
One day, he escaped. It was about 2-3 minutes before I realized what happened. I zoomed right off the toilet and ran outside screaming, couldn’t find him. Immediately called police and was running around the cul-de-sac screaming like a maniac. No shoes and I hadn’t even zipped my pants up. It turned out my elderly neighbor across the road had found him and taken him in. I was extremely lucky.

And we'll go to City Park and all the kids gather around and and watch me make these huge chalk murals of the avengers of the Ninja turtles of Disney movies. Femur breaks are one thing but a spiral fracture of the femur is a different type of femur fracture. It’s difficult to produce the twisting force in an accidental injury but is seen mostly in non-accidental trauma. It’s extremely common in child abuse injuries. There may have been other child abuse related injuries found on the boys as well. We just don’t know without seeing the medical records and CPS notes. In the state I live it’s very difficult to have your children removed and adopted out. There has to be major issues/injuries happening. Btw I’m a nurse.

Older black people (especially women) have seen and been through a lot. My great grandma was born in the year 1925 that’s nearly 100 years ago, she would probably say the same thing and it’s not because she’s trying to be insensitive but it’s how older black people have had to cope with the horrors of life. Thank you for using their true names. As an adoptee myself I find it so fucked up that adopters can change a kid's name just because they want to. We're humans not dogs ffs. My adopters changed my name also. I changed it back to my true name when I got married. Best decision I've ever made. At some point in life I will also be adopted back by mother so that my birth certificate shows my actual biology and not the people who purchased me. Another fucked up abuse inherent to adoption. A BIRTH certificate is altered to show the names of people who had nothing to do with the child's birth.

I find it very upsetting that their names were changed by their adoptive parents. As humans, our names are so important to us! Her biological mum was 14 years old as we learned from the birth certificate. Mum was born 1961.her biological father was not named on the birth certification. Why did my mother's biological parents give her up for adoption ? The biological mother is dead now too. She was dead in 2017. The biological father ? I wonder what happened ? This case enrages me on soooo many levels. But I'm appalled at the fact that it is so easy over there to take kids away from their bio enlarged families and give them up to foster care and adoption in such a small amount of time. I live in Italy. Believe me it takes YEARS, up to 6 or 7 to adopt a child and adopting families have to go through such extensive examination before they are even considered eligible. People who have got stable jobs, a good housing and that are willing to put themselves under the radar just to have the opportunity to give a child a caring loving family. I can't believe they let these 2 little boys down like that. And I can't imagine how the bio mother must be felling right now. It's outraging.

I think it's weird how fast they were allowed to be adopted and how they were even allowed to take the kids. I think that agency is totally criminal, again people do not understand how high child trafficking goes. It's obvious they moved from Bakerfield is because no one would realize they had kids. Now we have another family who seems to have been adopted out to the same family and no one knows where these kids are. WHERE IS ALL THE MONEY COMING FROM. ITS HARDER TO ADOPT A RESCUE DOG. In early 2020 (before the world fell apart), my then almost 6 year old daughter was playing at church when another boy fell on her. She cried for a while and then went about her day as normal.
By Wednesday, she was playing outside and suddenly she screamed bloody murder. She was crying inconsolable about her arm being sore. It was the first time since the Sunday, so Sadly I didn't take her too seriously at first 🙈 but later that afternoon I couldn't take her whining anymore so we went to the ER.
The doc there did an exam, asked her to lift her arm, which she did, told me nothing was broken or bruised, and since there would have been a lot of bruising if it was broken, it is probably just sprained.
    Took her home.
Thursday she had a grandma and grandpa day at school where they did a sing and dance show for the grandparents. Both my mom and mom in law are nurses and have been for over 20 years, they took videos of her laughing, pulling faces and lifting that arm to dance.
Friday morning she was in tears, begging me to take her back to the doc as the arm was just too sore. This time I took her to our general gp, he barely touched her and she recoiled, he turned around and told me he suspects her collar bone is broken.
Sent us of for xrays. Called everyone and told them, and LITTERALLY EVERYONE said they didn't think anything was broken and we were just waisting our time.
I went a head with the xrays tho, and and hour later as we are sitting in the docs office, he looks at my kid just laughing and chatting away, and says "if I didn't have the xrays in front of me, I wouldn't have believed it myself. Her collar bone is broken and is already showing signs of healing, so it has probably been broken since Sunday".
I heard later that the collar bone is one of the hardest bones in the body to break. Imagine if they had decided that was enough reason to come take my kid?

Honestly I didn’t think it would be allowed to change their names I find this really surprising.

@@StephanieHarlowe no complaints with you at all, girl. I'm a relatively new subscriber and I've been binge watching your videos for at least a week now 😂As always you did a phenomenal job shining a light on this case.
I just hate how those awful foster parents basically erased those boys from existence. Not only did they probably take their lives but they changed their names. It's just heartbreaking. Those boys should've never been with those people in the first place.

When he described the children as rambunctious I got the chills… did their ‘discipline’ result in serious injury and they had to cover it up?

Its hard enough having patience for your own kids , they had 6 and not their own. Something may have snapped.
