The M spec bushings are different to the ones you showed here. When comparing my 335i N54. Would these inserts still apply? I believe the M spec have a different insert by factory built-in. Can you confirm?
I recently installed these on my E90 330i, and did exactly that. I used 2 jack stands in the rear, and used a jack to help support and lower/raise the subframe as needed.
Will this also be available for the BMW E39? I'm driving an European spec 520i manual, shifts are spot on, but i can feel a little play in the drivetrain, i think this will take care of it :)
How in the fuck did youtube show me THIS a week after those sub frame bushings on my e90 went to hell? This is skynet level fuckery!! Also I'm buying most of theses parts, lol.
OK - at 8:03 "47Nm plus 90 degrees" NINETY.... You then put a breaker bar on and cranked it 90 PLUS another 90 - 180 degrees! I'd not be surprised if those bolts fall out in a few hundred miles. Yikes.
Don't these subframe inserts just short-out the subframe bushes ? My guess is that the bushes are there for a reason and BMW knew what they were doing.
yes and no. BMW softened the subframe bushings to counteract the harshness of the Runflat tires. but the first thing to do is toss the RFT's in the trash and adjust the subframe and sway bars accordingly.
I was just watching a Donut Media video and did a double take lol
I just saw Job in a clip that was referenced to this channel not Donut and I was like, waaaaht.
JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So much excite!!!
What’s the hell its the donut media guy
Just ordered these along with ECS front and rear sway bars 😁
Wait a second… i know that voice anywhere!!
It’s Jobie!!!

M spec bushes do not need inserts. The 135/335 bushes are hollow, m3 are not.
No... M bushings are not hollow, they are full. Inserts are only for non m models.
Just get m3 bushings
@@swerveo7313 Huge job compared to inserts.
M spec is only interior and exterior appearance, same bushings.
Please get back to the winter better stuff I was loving it.
We are! Lots of content coming soon.
I came here to say the same thing. The beaters give me bad ideas, but I still like watching them do it. I want a beater, but I don't "need" a beater
We'll be putting out an episode about Zach's E32 in a few hours! Hang tight!
If you have suspension your bushing is worn and old would this be a good substitute?
So if I do this in my garage . I’ll jack up the car with two jack stands and use my lift to raise and lower from the rear diff ?

is this if rear bushings are good?
Yes, we do recommend if your bushings are bad, replacing them and THEN adding the insert mounts
After install the car will feel any vibration when the car stopping ilde time?

Why are those 034 inserts “Only available for purchase and shipment within the United States” ?

How you managed to say "We all need to tighten up our rear end" without laughing is beyond me...
How is solid rubber engine mounts going to improve handling? All you'll get is more vibration in the cabin.
Not true. There is still play, the vibrations from engine are decreased by giving a stiffer less play bushing
Gives less play more stiffer and consistent power
Some Bmw love from ecstuning🔥
boy howdy do i sure like my rear ends tight

There were 2 bolts
@@justint5387 You're right! - man, I watched it over an over too... hard to see, with hands and plastic in the way, but now I see it is indeed two...

Do you know if they plan on making this same kind of kit for the e82 chassis?
These fit E82! www.ecstuning.com/b-034motorsport-parts/bmw-e9x-rear-subframe-inserts/034-601-0047~034/
@@peterwinegardner1608 is the process to fit them onto an e82 (1 series coupe) just as easy?
