Just getting back into drumming in my small home studio, after a 35 year break. Feels great learning these fills and your explanations etc are fantastic. I really appreciate your content, thanks a lot! :)
Great lesson, appreciate your content for going straight to business in your lessons without long anecdotes and theories
Thanks for that feedback.
I second that. no mucky muck. get right into it. @@JeffRandallDrumming
Excellent explanation
Thanks for the ghost-note/up-motion tip
another great one! I've been following you for a while, and your videos are helping me a lot!
Jeff that was awesome fills! I just love how you break it down on different tempo! Slower pace to faster & then actual beat/rhythm. Thank you so much!!!!
Dood your set sounds soooooo gooooood!! You're very good at slowing it down to a comprehend-able (sorry, i don't think that's a word....) level. Thank you so much!
Fantastic lesson! I've got my "lick of the week" to practice. Righteous!
Got a gig tonight in Daytona. I’ll give it a shot JR! Great content as always!
You make it look so easy! Soooo good. Thank you, as always for breaking it down in such a clear way!
It smells funky in here.

Hey Guys! If you listen to 2:03 to 2:25 you’ll hear one of John Bonham’s secret moves from Moby Dick! If you’ve ever listened to the song remains the same version he actually isolates the snare a few times just like Jeff isolates his right hand to demonstrate how to pull off this drum fill. Bonham eventually goes into his signature triplets between the tom toms and snare but he’s definitely doing this move at some point within his solo. What’s also so cool is Jeff snare drum sounds extremely similar to Bonham snare drum!
Wow! Deceptively not that easy! At least for me. Thanks Jeff. 🥁❤️
The added dynamics definitely take it to another level.
Another great lesson Jeff, will keep working on it, That floor tom is beautiful! 14 inch?
Thank you! It’s a 16”.
Love your lessons, Jeff! As a drummer that's just into the first couple years, could you do some lessons on how to accent cymbals musically within the grooves? Or maybe you've already done this, and I need to search your videos. I listen to a lot of metal and heavier rock, and this is something I truly love, good cymbal work!
That’s a great suggestion! I’ll add it to the list.

Yessir!
🥁🔝✌🏽🇧🇷
It's the kick that's tough here. Keep wanting to sync it with the accents like a rag time beat lol 😑
drum tone tho
Hey Jeff are you still practicing in a public storage?
Not anymore thankfully.
@@JeffRandallDrumming how long were you practicing in a public storage for? Because I am thinking about practicing drums at a public storage and I wanted to ask you if you can give me some advice about it.
@@tadehpetrossian5698 I was on one for almost 10 years! It was wild. Here, I made a video about it: ruclips.net/video/3kigmjlHv4g/видео.htmlsi=XJClZ7SbpmrQSxpc
