Awesome, thank you for this video. I was worried about pulling out the long bolt on the bottom with how tight it was. I will go get a long punch or bolt like you did and get this done tonight!
Thanks! Yes, the long bolt made it a breeze and ensured everything stayed in place as it should. I had exact worry but it worked out well. Taks was intimidating at first but it was actually quite straight forward and easy after I started working on it.
WHOA! The torque values are 45 newton-meters or 33 foot pounds on those bolts. I've once snapped that through bolt on my Versys 1000 crash bar install so know about too much torque. I looked in the service manual.
Got it in a hardware store, Home depot! Just ask them for a 8inch long hex bolt. I think this thickness was 1/4 or 3/8 don't quite remember. But you will know which one to buy when you look at it. Just need to get one which is 8in to 10" long to go across, and right width so it fits in the hole.
Thanks for the video. Just got mine installed and all went smoothly thanks to your tips!
Great!!!

Thanks! I didn't have the service manuals, so had to rely on other sources. Was cautious not to strip them. Worked out well for me.
Hello I have one of these motorcycles, where I can get the side cases that your motorcycle has
You should try ebay. These are old models and you will not find new sets in shops anymore. Look into eBay for "2015 Yamaha FJ-09 panniers"
Hi bro, Thais crash bar too is available to be installed in the tracer 9 GT 2023?
For 2023 they have changed the design, you will have to buy the specific one made for 2023 GT model. They do sell it.
@@drifter-indian1448 thanks for the advice👍.
@Drifter-Indian where did you get that bolt or what do you ask for in the store?
