Btw, I just bought a painting from an artist in Lewis who advised the best way to hang the box canvas was 2 nails protruding from the wall - no need for eyes and wire. Mind, get them level first...😅

this painting looks so good! I'd love to try oils one day but they seem such a scary medium 🥺
I felt the exact same way when I was feeling the urge to give oils a try! And, not gonna lie, they definitely frustrated me when I first started working with them. but they have, without a doubt, become my favorite painting medium, especially for my bigger more serious pieces! Maybe I can do a video talking about my experience jumping to oils! In the mean time, I would highly recommend you giving it a try and testing the waters! I learned a lot about oils from @robinsealark's channel years and years ago, so that might be a good place for you to start! GOOD LUCK!
