I started breaking out in hives 4 years ago and tried altering my diet to find a cause only to realize a few months ago that it’s stress induced. I am still on medication but am trying to suppress it. Glad that i am not alone and hopefully everyone can get rid of this illness because it’s highly uncomfortable to live with.
I've been breaking out lately for almost everyday. Most severe during my work shift so it's possible that it's stress induced in my case. I can attest though that exercise helps me a lot.
I get pins and needles sensations that are very itchy whenever i experience sudden heat, spicy food, during cold, etc but I don’t see any visible rashes on my skin. is this the same thing?
I have urticaria and no doctors can tell me what's wrong. It's getting way worse. Stress and sleep is a big factor but when I'm not stress or sleep deprived I still have the hive episodes. It's very painful and debilitating. Need answers!
I’m 41, I starting getting hives in my teens, my personal belief was that the hives were attributed to pesticides. At the end of my teen years I just stopped breaking out into hives. Thank God because hives are scary. Add on: I always got hives in the summer, plus, one time I broke out, I opened a produce box of peaches, as soon as I opened it…boom. Every time I had to go to the hospital and take a needle shot of Benadryl. The very fist sign hives were a comin: my nose would get hard, then the tiny dots on my arm would metaticize and so on…
I started to get hives something so badddd, I thought it was something I ate, maybe clothing, stress, my sons mom or allergic reaction and then i truly thought i was having a heart attack, at the ER and it turned out it was my gallbladder that was bad..i haven't had them once since it was removed. There are so many things that can trigger hives..
i don't have this i don't know if its this but mines are not bumps but are little swellings like the ones you get when you are cold but this looks why to harsh
Sounds like what happened to me.. during my finals week of my first semester of nursing school I broke out in welts and ever since then when I get stressed out, and that’s pretty much every day, I get itchy and breakout in either a rash or hives
I have had urticaria for about a year now. No idea what is causing it. It appears in random places on my body almost daily. Each giant welt lasts about 48 hours and is quickly replaced by new ones elsewhere. My lips have swelled twice. It will start on one side and move to the other. It's insane and seems to have no cause that I can determine.
I always get hives after a really bad flu or something like that. First time I got it after Covid and it was really bad I was shaking because of the itchiness and the pain. Now I got it from being ill again 2 years later and it‘s less itchy but it really swells my whole face, knuckles and hands aswell as my lip.
