My hives came on in November of 2021. They’d come and go, and the triggers were inexplicably elusive, at times, seemingly everything could have been the culprit. At this time I eat no sugar at all, no wheat, no tomatoes, and I don’t drink alcohol, no dairy and have not had an outbreak for several months now. If having no outbreaks means I never eat any of these things ever again, I’m happy to do without them because those regular outbreaks were tortuous!

the vaccine. Btw don't do xolair it has a chance of giving you dermatographia, i eother got it from that or the vaccine and i have both dermatographia and chronic hives. Take a zyrtect
pill daily or one morning and one night and you won't get the hives at all itching a bit sometimes but usually you'll be good. Take the zyrtec 24 hour allergy tabley not gel one. Once you stop xolair it relapses don't do anymore harm to your body. I and 10 others have tried pretty much everything even steroids as well and you're just gonna ruin your body.

Her “cure” is a serious immune system supressant associated with increased cancer risk. Her problems is very likely a mast cell activation syndrome manifestation (MCAS) and it’s very often driven by environmental toxicity such as mycotoxins from mold in water damaged buildings, but also due to the very common and overlooked condition which is also an underlying cause of IBS; SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth) or IMO (Intestinal Methanogen Overgrowth). If you suffer from GI symptoms such as bloating after food, diarrhea, urgency or constipation, get a lactulose breath test done ASAP. It’s completely treatable by targeting the actual root cause and not just turning off an important part of your immune system.

If you also suffer from gut problems, then it is relevant to take. You can find many providers; just Google them. Although there is one in particular which tests for 3 ikstead of only 2 relevant gases. It’s called the Trio Smart test. It’s relevant if you suffer from diarrhea in the abscence of IBD diagnosis (Crohn disease, ulcerative colitis, etc.)@@Beautiful121389

I agree, its not a good idea to only treat the symptoms instead of the underlying cause completely. Its like living with immune supressant for whole life after having an organ transplant, which in turn make us very vulnerable to all sort of infections. Its better to research for immune-modulator compound that works for you and try to "re-train" the autoimmune system by changing environment or avoiding the triggers. Immune supressant should only be use as a last resort when everything else fails.

I have chronic cholinergic urticaria (basically i get hives when i sweat, but cant sweat)
The easy way to get rid of your hives is the Xolair shot and it is amazing.
But if you dont want to do Xolair, you have to do an activity that will make you sweat, for example run through the park WITHOUT STOPPING for an hour maybe on a really hot day. It will be very difficult at first but you must stay strong and not loose hope. You will break sweat and once you do your hives will be gone for now
I say for now because you have to keep doing activities that make you sweat.
Once you break that first sweat, it is alot easier to sweat and you wont get hives.
I hope i explained this without much confusion.

Never was allergic to anything. Never had any skin issues. Had exzema on elbows and scalp. Randomly broke out in body hives on occasion. Then 2021 after covid vaccine started breaking out in facial swelling, hands , feet, huge patches tht lasted days. Some hurt some left bruises. Terrible. Got on dapsone after all kinds of test. Has pretty much managed it all in the big picture combined with Claritin and Famotadine. definitely eat healthy limit stress. They ordered Xolair for me to try - and recently I have been having other issues which I think are more serious. Feels like actual neck swelling and head swelling and overall fatigue and joint pain daily. Have been miserable the last 2 weeks and no one knows what’s going on. Can’t tell if prednisone and dapsone and my meds are what’s causing this. Have been off meds for 2 days and feel better. not sure if I want to try another med with other side effects. Just want to be normal again. Oh and chronic anxiety hasn’t helped any of this over the last 2 years.

If you have an autoimmune condition you have histamines in your body that activate to change of weather, body temperature or sweat. Mine is active when I’m sleeping when circadian rhythms is active. So every night is torture. Anti histamines don’t work. I’m on three other oral medications that have stopped working weeks ago. And topical creams do nothing but lotion the body.
