Just installed my stainless Cobb exhaust and it sounds cool. The quality and craftsmanship is ridiculously nice. Almost foolproof to install.
I agree Cobb’s quality fit and finish is top tier!
I bought a pool noodle from Walmart, I cut it to four pieces to come out about 7 inches from all the tips. I wrapped some duck tape around the side that goes in the tips, so it doesn’t pop off when you start the car. It will make your cold star very quiet so it doesn’t wake up your neighbors in the morning.

This was great! The titanium sounds a bit louder than the SS from what I can tell through the video, but you also have the ETS Turbo kit so I think that would also change the note as well. You have the perfect VB build imo!

Ive got the COBB SS bc Im not a fan of the higher frequency Ti emits. Ive got the RAE Jpipe, Cobb ss Ctbk but I added a vibrant ultra quiet resy which helped bring it back to a reasonable level after the jpipe turned up the volume.

I am surprised of how quite it is with the ETS downpipe installed. No drone neither 👌
Very minimal drone when cruising at 80 mph. No drone cruising around town. At idle it’s very quiet!
Just copped the stainless steel Cobb exhaust, I have the AFD dual exit exhaust and I need a gentleman’s exhaust and I miss the quad tips
I ran the Cobb stainless on other builds and they are very nice too! Can’t go wrong with a Cobb exhaust!
I have seen ppl complain about drone without a resonator on ss.

For all the exhaust you put on your VB, which is the less drone and good for daily driving?
The Cobb and the LP adventure are the best and about the same with drone with all I’ve tried so far.
I just ordered the Cobb SS for my VB. Almost 1/2 price on either choice right now 😳

I’m curious about the flange where Cobb meets stock. The SS version has its own bolts there for a solid connection. But seems like the titanium uses the factory spring bolts. What do you think is better??

I installed mine last week...feels much louder than stock. I don't notice road noise or gear whine any more. Sounds cool for sure, but maybe too much for me. The drone is there at 80 mph highway driving. I'll see if I get used to it otherwise I might be hitting facebook marketplace.
Yep 80 mph there is a slight drone. In the future I may be adding a vibrant Ti res.
@@JoeyMontaltoFrom my quick research it seemed like resonators only really work for idle but if it solves highway drone as well that is great news.
I want to cop one of these Cobb Ti exhausts so badly while they are half off. Someone convince me this no power gain mod is a good investment!

Yes. Mainly cold starts are louder with the jpipe. Once warmed up it’s quiet.
