SERIOUSLY Easy Loom Knit Baby Hat (YOU GOT THIS!)

- Learn how to make the EASIEST loom knit baby hat ever in this step by step tutorial for beginners!
This easy beanie has a cute little rolled brim and is perfect for a newborn or premie if you use a 24 peg round loom, or for an older baby on the 36 peg loom.
Even if you're a beginner and you haven't tried any loom knitting projects, you can totally make this.

SUPPLIES YOU'LL NEED //
▶︎ 1 skein of Lion Brand Hometown Yarn (bulky size 6) amzn.to/3COicXf
▶︎ round knitting loom and loom knitting hook - 24 peg or 36 peg- see notes below about sizing amzn.to/3CfQH7p
▶︎ stitch marker amzn.to/3VdttXZ
▶︎ yarn needle amzn.to/3ynObKX
▶︎ scissors
For the smaller baby hat, I used the 24 peg loom and knitted 20 rows.
It ended up measuring about 5" from the top to the brim, and 12" around.
For the larger baby hat, I used the 36 peg loom and knitted 25 rows.
It ended up measuring about 7" from the top to the brim, and 16" around.
These hats are pretty stretchy, so keep that in mind. You can add extra rows if you want to get a slouchy hat.

The loom is a more simplistic way to knit or crochet. I attended a zoom session while using your tutorial on hat making, and I made a trial hat within an hour or two. I not only sew, but I knit to. What a lovely combination. Wonderful tutorial ❤️

No, the edge just rolls naturally and that's the brim 😊

I would recommend the 36 peg loom and you’ll want to knit until its at least 8 inches long or so. You can kind of test fit the hat on her head before you cast off and make sure it’s long enough, that’s what I do with my kids lol. Good luck!

2 strands....yes.
Two aran yarn strands together = the bulky weight.
Mine doesn’t look like yours.😂
