What a truly wonderful film. So glad that the professor found his faith in Christ again.. Joy was a wonderful witness to him in her renewed faith. As she said just before she died, Jesus had said take this cup of suffering, but if it be your will father. I feel in one way Joy had her answer as to why God had not healed her, that her dying was part of the professor finding his faith again. So happy Joy came back to her Heavenly father before she died..🕊💞
First, Remove all distractions: Open to the Gospel of John (in the New Testament) and ask the Holy Spirit to give you understanding of what you're reading. Just read one chapter a day. You should feel comfortable soon with reading your Bible. Hope this helps! God bless your new walk with the Lord!

Once you get far away from God after learning about him and even being baptisd, it really is hard to find your way back. My brother gave me his Bible for my 63rd birthday in August and it's the best. But for reasons I don't know, I can't even begin to read it. Maybe its because I'm too lazy and I get more out of watching these movies than I do in reading and trying to understand .
Hi Susan, I am 65 and I like watching better than reading too, but I encourage you pray to God and ask Him to lead you. He has a lot to share with you from the Bible on how much He loves you. It takes some effort to begin reading but I would strongly encourage you to begin in the New Testament with the book of John. Also on RUclips you can find good Christian music to listen to as well. Robin Mark songs are very good, one example (All I once held dear). These movies are a good place to begin, but God wants You to experience His love and grace. He has never left you and His arms are open wide to share His Truth in Love. I will be praying you follow His Spirit right home. He will make you glad.

Excellently done movie script and acting... The enemy is so slippery, notice how when the teacher got backed up he would duck out of the corner... I do believe that the heart of most atheists is simply deep woundedness. Overcome evil with good. But, there are the atheists that are atheists simply because they hate God and that's all, they hate that they have to answer to Someone someday.

With the word of God we destroy prideful thoughts which keep people from knowing Him. We attack these rebellious thoughts and teach people to obey Christ. *Spoiler alert Notice how the professor believed because he heard the Word of God. Not because he got historical evidence or scientific proof to support his belief. This was a carnally minded person who supposedly only believed in what he could see and touch; however it was the Word of God that pierced his heart and caused him to believe in it. Studying science and history in and of the Bible is great, but understand that salvation is through grace through faith alone. i.e. The Gospel is all that we have and it is all that we need in order to believe.
