Just finished watching this movie in 2024. Totally worth the 1.5-hour watch. Excellent plot, tugs your emotions a bit. Part of it reminds me of my own life. I was kinda teary at the end. Some strong Christian values there. I wish there were many more movies like this. Thank you to the producers. God bless.
They don't make romantic movies like this anymore. No sex, no foul words, no violence. An over all wonderful story of love. I think our world needs more stories of love told like this. Our society is so driven and flooded by stories of sex, violence, drug and conflict that we've lost our touch with our inner goodness. Its movies like this that help remind us that love can be clean, pure and decent but still filled passion and romance. We do not need to be bombarded by negativity with all the evils growing in world. Showing humanity that we can still have so much goodness and choose to live without degrading ourselves is an important aspect of our lives. It's stories like this that can give humanity hope so we can instill amazing values and principles so we do not succumb to our lower selves all the time. This was a very empowering, simple and inspiring movie.
Since Helene in North Carolina, this is a small occurrence of what happened in NC. I just watched this movie and it brought up the whole business of NC. Helene was devastating, a 1000 year storm, and it will be years and years before all is done there. All the lives lost and many of which have never been found and never will be. Bodies pulverized and have already been dozed over. God help Western North Carolina. Prayers to all.

I'm so relieved when I just saw this comment!! These days love is about money, looks etc She's was lucky enough to made the right choice before getting married to that guy though.. It's lonely to be with someone who don't value you for who you are, they are always looking for something better and usually it's not better but the damage are already done then.
Love it! It shows the hurt people need to overcome but also love, giving to community. Lauren and Colin had great memories and truly liked each other, they had support from everyone to be together, they just needed time to sort their lives out . I am so happy for the purity and innocence in the movie. I know I can tell my daughter to watch this one.
What's really sad and messed up, is that unlike knowledge which is learned, intelligence is inborn, which is why the world is what it is. Loved the movie and am thankful for the upload.
I am from India and I have watched many Hollywood movies and those movies are very fast paced, modern and also have good stories with lot of actions. However, I find this particular English movie to be very authentic, calming and smooth. I never have thought that I would love to watch this kind of movie but truly I find this movie to be worth watching.

We need rest for our eyes and ears, our hearts and minds, our children. And Hollywood isn't giving it to us. (It's not just American production companies that cater to the Liberal agenda though. The messages of hate, disrespect, infidelity, various crimes, diverse types of abuse, promiscuity etc are being spread in practically all the world by local producers as well.) Lauren...Dane's crew put up the structure you moved into...offered to send you money when you were looking for fund raisers.. so much so, meanwhile asked you to move to Australia while he was getting through with his project, whole heartedly supporting you..just when you walk out on him..big deal..and still telling everyone he is still your fiance even when you have broken up. Plot holes. Expediency in any plotline is expected but I agree Dane was being supportive and his efforts were rebuffed because the love story demands that he appears as a toxic male who doesn't support his gf. So even a Christian film has woke signalling. Shame.
Plot holes? Is that not life, confused and not as you want it. The lord leads us on paths that we do not expect, are we not being judgemental of others by commenting like this. Should we not leave those judgements for him and focus on the path he has given us.
This is a story I can watch with any state of mind. The story is clean and decent, with every corner filled with pure emotions and romance. It beautifully captures the passion of love. Nowadays, many movies have become uncomfortable to watch with family and friends, often filled with violence, sexuality, drugs, and murder, which can be quite negative. We've almost forgotten the importance of love, decency, and purity in storytelling. This movie, however, is a wonderful reminder of that.

Kind of like a Hallmark "light" type movie. A nice love story. I liked the kindness the teacher and carpenter showed the town in helping to rebuild it. These were good traits to watch.

wow my kind of movie, when i read the title I thought that it was a heart breaking movie. December 2021 before Christmas my home town in the Philippines was hit by a strong typhoon/storm, many people lost their lives, lost their houses, no electricity, water & food.
I never again watch any other movies than like this,~ building the correct relationship for a happy marriage that would last.... I'll for sure recommend it to all my kids....
What I like about it is that it 's practical. How can you know whether two people fit or not, if they don't look for signs in practical life? Young people can learn something here!

I like how this movie was sweet and appropriate. Most of the romance movies are too cheesy or even inappropriate to watch and actually enjoy nowadays. But I am happy that there is some good movies out there like this one. Totally recommended😊

wow my kind of movie, when i read the title I thought that it was a heart breaking movie. December 2021 before Christmas my home town in the Philippines was hit by a strong typhoon/storm, many people lost their lives, lost their houses, no electricity, water & food.
