  • Dealing with the sideshows seems simple (and it is) but there are a few tips that I wanted to share.

    Nice explanation.
But I will add some things here which new players doesnt know.
For example you can take out rail repair units and transport planes from theater boxes and add them to map which is very useful for Axis!!!
Also fill up all support units percentage what can help and add to TB value and also planes percentage and AA percentage can help a lot to need less units or planes in TBs.
The recon planes count same like patrol for percentage of patrol. This can help you for example to get patrol planes on map to isolate ports like Axis.

Thanks for the video, Sean! I'm preparing to start a grand campaign for the first time, so I had some questions (there is little information about Theater Box). Maybe you can help.
    1) You talked about evaluating the situation by colors. Am I correct in understanding that with none or low combat intensity, you can hold a lower percentage of forces in those Theater Boxes and expect no penalties? Maybe you could share from your experience what percentages of ground and air forces you should hold on Theatre Boxes in different combat intensities? Below what percentage should not fall, above what it is not worth to rise?
    2) Is it possible to know exactly if your Theater Boxes will give you VP and AP?
    4) Can other Theater Boxes (not National Reserve) could restore TOE? For example, If I will send a 60% TOE tank division to the Western Front where ground combat activity is 'none', will that restore the my division's TOE?
P.S. It would be very interesting to see tutorial video where you would show the sequence of your actions during one or several turns: what do you do at the beginning of the turn, what parameters do you monitor, what do you change, what do you do before finishing the turn, etc. You know, vitamins improve health, but it's important to know which ones to drink in the morning, which ones in the afternoon, and which ones before bed :)
    Thanks again, Sean!

      1. Green means you can safely remove a few units and not suffer any penalties, yellow is good, orange and red can both incur penalties (depending on the scenario).
      2. You can but it’s kinda cheating. You just open up the GC in the editor, and look through the events.

      3. (Aka 4) yes, just like on the map you receive replacements (I think it’s the same rate as an in supply unit on the map) but just like the map, they will be faster to repair on refit mode. I don’t know if it’s appreciably faster to use a theater box vs keeping them in the rear in the map, but it’s definitely faster in the reserves.

Is it advisable to use a.i. depot assist at the end of each turn?

I don’t ever do that, as I put the depots down myself, as I go and usually spend excess on forts rather than letting the AI waste it on depots.
