"Our project, "Luna," draws inspiration from this rich history, redefining the conventional swing experience into a dynamic, fluid celebration. Rather than adhering to the traditional back-and-forth motion, Luna encapsulates the changing phases of the moon, introducing a sense of constant evolution and freedom.
The swing is no longer just a plaything; it's an exhilarating journey, an adventure filled with moments that take your breath away and reward you with boundless joy. Luna transcends the ordinary, integrating a cableway into its design, allowing children to explore the speed of the swing on their terms. The influence of the moon goddess Chang'e is evident, with Luna embodying her transformative journey from earthly beauty to divine radiance.
Chang'e's story echoes through Luna, as birds encircle the swing, bestowing blessings akin to celestial messengers. The bamboo lantern at the swing's core emits a soft glow, reflecting the moonlight and creating an atmosphere of pure, unbridled joy. This dynamic design mirrors the ethos of Nansha Bird Park, a true bird paradise, as Luna moves with smooth, curving motions, embodying the spirit of "The Luna.""
They will receive RM1,500, a Trophy and a certificate. The certificates and prize money will be presented during the Award Ceremony after the International Level competition in Guangzhou China. We will post an update here soon.
