Queen- Bohemian Rhapsody Reaction
I love watching people who have never heard this before , you can see brain cells exploding 🤣🤣🤣
Haha.Ive watched a few Bohemian Rhapsody reactions today, but this one was superb, lol
Too bad most of them got no brain cells... sadly!
Too much fun
It's the nourishing what the brain cells hungered for, the good stuff.
It's wild isnt it?? Lol. She got sucked in like all of us have, she obviously has good tastes in music. 🎶😀🎼😎
Freddie's Masterpiece! After "Wayne's World" came out my kids were obsessed with this -- shudda seen their little faces when Mommy knew every note and verse! 🤣🤣🤣 Blew their little minds!! 😎
director wanted Bon jovi ! mike said no Freddie no film.
The BohRhap guitar solo was written by Brian May
ok randy marsh
I was born in 1990 and Wayne’s world taught me how to headbang to this song at a very young age and I still do it everytime it’s on the radio
Not only Wayne's World, but The Mighty Ducks too. Those two movies were my first introduction to Queen.
I'm 63yrs old , I've heard this song a million times . Watching you made it new for me again , Thank you ...from T in Ashland
It's always amazing to see someone who's never heard this before.
L Steven It’s always unbelievable to me that someone doesen't know this song, but I am happy when they finally discover it.😃
When something is unbelievable, don’t believe it. Watch a number of “reaction” videos for the same song. They act like they’ve never heard a guitar solo or stereo before. And they all say similar stuff. Doesn’t ring true. They all pause at similar places, “oh I wasn’t expecting that” they say, yet they pause before they’ve fully heard the bit they weren’t expecting. This is marketing.
I grew up to this, bought albums as they were released, The Game was my first new release album I bought as a kid. There are brilliant songs on every album, I have them all on my phone, in my car which takes a USB key, listen daily
@@andrewwright9378 + I'm over 40 & had never heard this song until the movie came out. I knew 1 Queen song by name & group; "We Are The Champions", from the movie Flash Gordan, & from the local skating rink. I knew the song "Another One Bites The Dust" by name, but NOT by group, also from the local skating rink. I had no idea who sang most of the rock songs I heard there. I wasn't into this kind of music growing up. I mostly listened to country, or pop music. Micheal Jackson, Whitney Houston, the Bangles, Etc.
You could be right about people faking it, but If I never did, & I'm over 40, why is it so hard to believe that Millennials & others wouldn't have heard it. Not everyone has the same experiences, & exposure...
First time only for youtube. Not real first time...
This has to be the most entertaining reaction to this song I've ever seen. Your expression was like someone getting smacked on the butt and they're not sure if they're pissed, offended, or excited 😂
Smacked on the butt ahahha
I'm guessing she gets excited.
Amy the Chocoholic Pete green is one at the top of my list
Again, the super-high “soprano” notes are by drummer Roger Taylor... his voice is a force of nature too !
Freddie described him as having the dog whistle voice lol.
Lfc Rules hahaha, yes ! Of course this was said with much affection and respect... as we know, these 4 guys loved like brothers, shared like brothers , and yes *fought* like brothers.
Freddie also spoke often about these “delicate harmonies” being only possible with Roger’s and Brian’s voices joined with his. He wrote those grandiose harmonies in his songs specifically geared to take best advantage of their ranges and abilities.
The unique blend of these voices : Freddie/Roger/Brian (and at very limited times, John) is a huge part of the signature Queen sound. (As you already know....we run into each other all the time on Queen reaction videos! 😁)
Stupidly enough, I always thought it it was Freddie doing those notes all these years. *SLAPS SELF*
The BohRhap guitar solo was written by Brian May
Check out Michel Jackson and celine Dion duets with freddie respect steve
Queen - "Don't Stop Me Now" You'll absolutely love this song. It's probably their best "feel good," song. People use it in talent contests as background music, they usually get to the next phase because everyone LOVES this song.
Absolutely yes!
Alejandro Martinez it’s been scientifically proven to be the happiest song on earth! 😁
Shaun of the Dead made me appreciate Dont Stop Me Now so much more lol
There you have the brilliance of Queen. They broke all the barriers.
"I would call this a masterpiece..." and you would be right.
The story of the song is just about as impressive as the song, too! Totally unique.
@@s1d299 have you got the album? love the prophets song
@@Semajsenrab72 Nope; sadly, I have never had a Queen album, aside from a greatest hits pair of CDs (1 and 2). It's an oddity given how much I love them. I've never been a huge album collector though. There are lots of good bands and I have relatively few albums.
@@s1d299 easy to download the album's these days. But you miss soo much. Look up The Prophets Song, A Winters Tale, sail away sweet sister, you take my breath away, spread your wings, too much love will kill you, man on the prowl, white man, dreamers Ball, good company,. So so many songs that are just bliss, joy and fun
@@Semajsenrab72 I think I have yet to hear most of those. I've heard the Prophet's Song once, recently, thanks to somebody's YT channel.
That’s the best reaction to this song I’ve ever seen!!
I apologise if someone else has told you this previously, but this song was written by Freddie Mercury the lead singer who was brought up in a conservative and religious (Zoroastrian) family. It's about him being gay and how he felt about how that affected his family's love towards him.
That personal touch of dismay and fear coupled with the amazing musicality is what IMO makes this song so great.
I was 12 when it was released and even at that callow age I knew that I was hearing something that had never quite been heard before.
Your reaction was beautiful and brought echoes from my first hearing back to my heart.
Thanks.
Never mind Freddy Mercury being the greatest voice ever recorded, how the hell do you write Bohemian Rapsody? Honestly.
Freddie Mercury*
You have to be a musical genius....
They had really really good drugs back in the day
@nope not me He's from a Zoroastrian family thier religion has nothing against homosexiality.
It was basically three songs he wanted to put out that he simply put into one song. He had been working on different parts for a while. The first part of the song comes from a song simply known as the cowboy song he was working on. The whole song was basically Freddie's from start to finish. And he directed the others on there parts to get it the way he wanted it. Fun fact even though some artist's made video clips to accompany there songs this was basically the first True music video.
He is not referring to his mother when he said 'just killed a man'. He is referring to himself.
In her defense, whoever wrote the lyrics missed a comma after "Mama."
Yeah I never knew why so many people misunderstand this for me it was obvious immediately that it was him talking to his mama...
@@chuckwilliams6261 Commas can save lives. "Let's eat, grandpa!" vs. "Let's eat grandpa!"
@Rhonda Bothelio yes exactly! He left out I but he's talking about himself....you know this for sure when he sings "but now I've gone and thrown it all away" like he threw away his life
@@Secret-Serenity What really gives it away 'pulled my trigger'.
You’re musical. I can tell.
Welcome to one of the most incredible songs ever written. You felt that big time didn’t you?
For sure-She can Play something! If not buy an instrument and it wont be long before you are playing great!
The first bit is Freddie harmonising with himself. It's thought to be about transition as opposed to actually killing someone.
True....about killing the straight man and coming out of the closet
The song that made Queen superstars
Holy moly your reaction to Bohemian Rhapsody was priceless.. I watched you over a few more times and I still laughed and cried the same.. I screaming at you.. "gooo.gooo. feel that song girl!.. Loved it, Liked it and subscribed..
Pure brilliance! I remember well the day Freddie died. He was incredible, beyond words, his story is real,, So blessed to be hear them in high school
RIP FREDDIE ❤🧡💛💚🧡🧡❤💛💜💙💚💙❤💚
Musically, this is, arguably, one of the best songs ever written. The lyrics, the harmonies, and the accompaniment. So much so, that it has been covered and recovered so many different times. The only one I've heard that is even close to the original is the one by Pentatonix.

The Beatles and Queen are my go to a happy place bands.
Because them both were so original
You are my spirit animal. The two bands with incredible musicianship, songwriting, and more variety than any other ten bands put together.
The Beatles can be a sad place band also. That is the depth of their talent.
Queen - White Queen - Hammersmith Odeon Live 1975. You won’t regret it.
March of the Black Queen is just as epic!
YESSSS!!! I love that entire second side (remember two-sided records? lol) of Queen II. Pretty much epic from beginning to end.
Early work is the best!!
Definitely March Of The Black Queen is epic as is The Fairy Feller’s Master Stroke from the same album.
"WE CAME TO ROCK, BRO!! WOO!! LET'S GO!! LET'S ROCK & ROLL!!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣❤️❤️❤️
"Shout out to that engineer". Roy Thomas Baker. Also, that soprano was Rodger Meadows Taylor-their drummer.
It is a masterpiece in history of music and many says the best rock song of all times
Hey, Scribecash, imagine driving along and this song comes on the radio the first time you've ever heard it. I didn't know what was going. I had to pull over to the side of the road to take it all in. So fun watching you experience for the first time!
Probably one of the best Queen reaction ever. It is so great whenever you fell the one posting the video also can sing. Does not hurt she is a beauty too ;)
This is Freddy Mercury's version of a rock opera. Freddy was such a great musical genius, such a great loss to the music world when he passed.

I love it when young people listen to music from my generation and realize the beauty, and the hard rock, that our generation is famous for...
bohemian rhapsody is a rhapsody, this is how rhapsodies work: "A rhapsody in music
is a one-movement work that is episodic yet integrated, free-flowing in
structure, featuring a range of highly contrasted moods, colour, and
tonality. An air of spontaneous inspiration and a sense of improvisation
make it freer in form than a set of variations." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhapsody_(music) and yes, it is a masterpiece. it cannot be compared to most music in any way shape or form, there are very few pieces of music that are on it's level.
I looooooooove Queen. Each song is so different and so brilliant.RIP Freddie❤️
This was such an epic new sound in the 70s, my music teacher taught Bohemian Rhapsody in class! Absolutely Amazing!!!!
This reaction should accompany all youtube videos of this song. You made them proud. Genuine, honest appreciation of a piece of art. Thank you.
I love watching Queen reactions from those who are hearing them for the first time. Yours is one of the best visible reactions to this particular song I've ever seen and one of the very few who've paid attention to the subtle intricacies and flow of the actual music. It's like you really feel it and not just from your ears.
Liked and subbed.♥️
Love your reaction to Queen Bohemian Rhapsody
See. We told you. And you believed us. And we didn't steer you wrong. Cuz we all cool like that.
Epic reaction to an epic song. So glad you did this one.
THE BEST SONG EVER WRITTEN , HANDS DOWN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There is a documentary called Inside The Rhapsody about this song. It divides neatly into 3 parts - Part 1 is Brian and Roger describing how it came about. Part 2 is Roger going through how the video was made and Part 3 is Brian talking you through the master tape and how they laid down each track. It's fascinating how much went into this one song.
Gurl...you're always ready with those reactions! Thank you for keeping the classics alive!
One of my favorite reactions of all time. Love it and love your beautiful singing voice too.
HOT DAMN! Welcome to the QUEEN rabbit hole! 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Thank you!! Greatest rock song of all time!! 💯💯 Freddie Mercury (lead singer, songwriter) never talked in details about the meaning of this song; only classified it as Rock Opera. He also said this song represents him foreshadowing his life because he began writing this when he was in school. The beat switches are EPIC!! WELCOME TO THE AMAZING JOURNEY OF BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY!! Lol!! 🤣🤣 RIP FREDDIE MERCURY. 💙🙏 AWESOME reaction!! Thank you again! 😁👊🙏
I am ready to Rock N Roll with you! Thanks for playing my request!!!
Darlin, you make this 59 yr old lady proud. You and I come from music deep in our soul. The 1st time I herd this song I was transported to rock n roll heaven. Hook, line and sinker....I'll ALWAYS BE A ROCKER. And you will keep Rockin. I just know it. Thank you for being you.
Isn't it wonderful to see the sheer joy on her face while we listen to these great songs together?
Honey you have just been baptized into the world of Queen. On point of this song.. It took Freddie 7 years to write this MASTERPIECE PIECE. Such a great reaction from you my dear. Enjoy the ride . You have ALL of us (QUEEN) fans on board to help your along the way. I was 16 when I heard this song on the radio.I’m so blessed that I grew up in the best 20 years of musical perfection...Judy D.
2:28 "shout out to their engineer" that's called skill, not auto-tuning or sound engineering... they know how to trip up the sound with their harmonies. that's how good queen was
I'll just correct your spelling mistake for you. That's how "god" Queen was. ;-)
I think she was referring to having the music switching from one earphone to the other at a time at that point in the track I've listened to this track so many times and never noticed that.
@@sylviasworld9397 and it's not auto-tuning, or any form of audio editing, they harmonized to the degree that happens is what i meant
@@jackthelad9933 no.... if queen was god. then why is it the majority of the world all but forgot about them. save for a few like me who prefers their music to the weird zombie noises that pass for music these days, until the movie came out??

One of Queen's most unforgettable songs. Freddie Mercury (Born, Farrokh Bulsara in Zanzibar) was the lead singer. Unfortunately he died in November 1991. R.I.P. Freddie
Great react! I've listen to this song a hundred times, but now with this reaction it was like the very first time.
Same. So much fun.
Their harmonies are cold
If a person has never heard this song that means either they've lived a shelterd life or have been living under a rock.
🙋🏾♀️ E. James Shepard 😂...I think EVERYBODY’S heard the song before but many have never heard it in it’s ENTIRITY from start to finish...payin’ attention to the lyrics, song transitions, etc. I particularly appreciate seeing young reactioners who are also musicians or singers today listen to REAL music from back in the day. THAT’S the appeal of these “First Time Ever....” reaction videos✌🏾!
Certainly born after Wayne's World ...
@@Nautilus1972, I don't know if I'm understanding you correctly but this was recorded way before Wayne's World.
I thought we were all born with this already wired in our brains!
1 guitarist, 1 bassist, 1 drummer, and Freddie Mercury.
Yeah, Brian May (the guitarist) has really amazing heart felt solos, something he's known for, as well as being an Astrophysicist..
The rocket scientist launches into space with his guitar. Talk about mad skills.
RIP Neil Peart, drummer and lyricist for Rush. Thank you for a lifetime of amazing music.
Ha,ya know which way a hot air balloon travels *** "Any way the wind blows"
Queen fought to get this song on the radio. It's considered to be Freddie's magnum opus.
No Engineers, no 4 guitars, just Queen, a 4 piece band, 4 brilliant musicians and producers!
SO GLAD YOU FINALLY HEARD SOME REAL ROCK AND ROLL! I ADORE THEM!! GLAD YOU LIKED IT!
Their management and studio people all laughed at them when they were making this song.----It's the BEST pop/ rock song ever written !!!
His whole life story in a song, from his beginning & the END 😢😢😢
Freddie 'engineered' / produced every aspect of this song.
This is not just a masterpiece! This is the best song ever written!!
This has to be my all time favorite reaction to this song and I've watched at least a hundred! Thank you, you are great! At first I was disappointed that you didn't watch the official version with the video (which you need to do NOW, its the first ever music video done in 1975) but I think using the lyrics version helped you really hone in on the music.
🙋🏾♀️ Janetjrfan💁🏾♀️ It’s quite refreshing that ScribeCash is doin’ things a bit differently in her reactions by goin’ for the lyrics on THIS one as the visuals are a bit distracting✌🏾!
Totally agree. Plus, this is how most of us first experienced the song (we didn't even have the lyrics - we had to figure them out).
The best song ever written...performed by the best male singer of all time...
Now you know how we felt back in '75 when this was released. We were staring at our radios, unable to believe what we were hearing. And keep in mind this was off Queen's 5th album, A Night at the Opera. We were already used to them doing amazing stuff for their past four albums. Then, they out do themselves on this.
The song is pure genius. It closely follows the classical rhapsody form, and at the same time stays in the form of a rock anthem. Nobody ever did that before. The vocal and guitar harmonies are sublime: and their drummer, Roger Taylor, sang the high parts, AND played drums at the same time!
It may interest you to know that the guitarist, Brian May, holds a Ph.D in astrophysics, and works with NASA when he's not playing music. He was on the team for the New Horizons mission to Pluto. They were like "We want to send a probe the size of a piano, traveling for 9 years, to a planet 3.2473 billion miles away, take photos, and get a ton of scientific data while it flies past at 38,000 MPH." He was like "Hold my beer."
Hold my beer - friggin hilarious.
Fifty years from now you will be listening to this very same song and it still won't be too much! I love the music you've reacted to as much as your reaction to them. Watching someone react to Queen Bohemian Rhapsody will never get old! Of course I subscribed. 🤗
Queen has a lot of good songs. Their two "Masterpieces" are obviously Bohemian Rhapsody and the other being "Innuendo." Innuendo is incredible and worth a reaction.
Omg girl. As a 53 year old white guy I remember when this song came out. I love reaction videos cause they take a song that I’ve always known and take me back to the first time I ever heard it. If I could bottle your facial expressions I would be a millionaire. Thank you for making me smile today!!

“Just one more Galileo, my dear,” Great reaction.
I like how this gal doesn't hold back, no rein on this filly. She enjoys her music. Splendid.

Best 20 minutes of performance ever. In a hat.
Greatest 20 mins of my lifetime!
For sure.
I like "real" reactions. THIS was a "REAL" reaction. Love it!
I love your metaphor of being in a balloon floating in the clouds. The first half of the song does have that kind of feel. I'm not sure what metaphor I would use to describe the rest of the song. Maybe skydiving through a hurricane. Ha ha.
Ah! Yes! That would about describe it! 😂
@@lovefortruth3414 When I watch these reactions, all I can think is, *BUCKLE UP KIDS*

When u can WATCH the video- IT'S BETTER !!!! ✌
It's fun to see someone experience the greatest band to ever do it.
He told his mama that HE “just killed a man”
THIS
"Mama, (I) just killed a man ..." has been the largest mistake people have made about this song. In this particular video, they needed that first comma.
He was killing himself and his ego. Think. It’s all about Freddie and what he’s going through.
Apparently the person who set up the slides with the lyrics was also confused they lest the comma out after "momma" on some slides, byr nor others.
Punctuation saves lives! ...or, in this case, reputations.
The video to this is excellent. Freddie’s voice has such an unearthly quality. You catch everything! Great reaction! Thank you

All the opening harmonies are all Freddie, he sounds just amazing.
This song was actually 3 songs that Freddie could never finish, so he decided to combine them into one song.
You really missed out on the total Queen BoRap experience by not watching the original music video for this song.
The video revolutionized how music promos were created.
The video is credited to being responsible for the creation of MTV and VH1.
Please react to the official video, you won't be disappointed.
The song doesn't say that his mother killed someone.
Freddie was saying that he killed someone.
I think that you're the only reactor to notice Brian Mays tickling guitar sound after Freddie sang, "sent shivers down my spine".
All four members of Queen have composed hit singles.
The only musical group to do this and all four were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2003.
Queen has lasted thru generations of listeners because they weren't afraid to experiment with the Queen sound.
Sometimes, their fans and critics didn't realize Queen's true genius.
Queen was ahead of the times.
They recorded the first Thrash Metal song, Stone Cold Crazy.
Queen has a fantastic catalog of music.
Their live concert recordings are amazing.
My personal opinion, I think they sounded better live.
So many songs are under-rated gems, they're just waiting for music listeners to discover.
A few amazing songs to start off listening to are:
Queen -Live Aid Wembley -13 July 1985 - Complete
Freddie holding his mic in one hand and the audience in his other, all 72,000 at Wembley and the other 1.9 billion watching Live Aid on tv. Queen stole the show from 75+ other performers. This is an amazing song. My uncle loved this band and i fell in love as well.
You have to react to Don't Stop Me Now by Queen
This is the best reaction video I have ever seen. Your text analysis is on point. You seem to have it all: beauty, brains, and a thoughtful and honest personality. Very impressed.
Yes, as you described it, it is a masterpiece. That's why (as some others have commented) it seems rather incredulous that you haven't heard it before. Of course, coming from a graybeard such as myself who bought Queen's first album when I was in high school, it could simply be a generational thing. Most of the suggestions you're getting for other Queen songs to listen to are from later offerings, but there are some solid songs on their first album. "Liar" with some nice harmonizing and "Keep Yourself Alive" with some good 'ol rocking come to mind. Check them out.
🙋🏾♀️ Vegan Todd 💁🏾♀️ Funny how you say this might be a generational thing that ScribeCash might not have seen (or heard) this song before. I know many reactioners who’ve gone down the Queen rabbit hole quickly discovered they’d in fact have ‘heard’ of their songs before, but was not aware that those songs were done by them. Bo-Rhap was initially reintroduced to to the young ‘90’s generations via Wayne’s World movie...today’s youth have been introduced via Bo-Rhap biopic.
There a quite a number of rock groups from the 60’s on that have huge ‘hits’ doin’ their times...and many may still get airtime today; however, one would have to be listening to that type of music genre to recognize the songs today. If one’s not listening to it, they wouldn’t know. So I would give ScribeCash (& other young reactioners new to the ‘rock genres’...especially eclectic ‘progressive/glam/psychodelic’ rock genre that’s not typically heard as much as ‘classic rock’ ✌🏾.
As one that was a teen when this came out, I LOVED watching you hear it for the first time! it was like a baby having ice cream for the first time with a little touch of brain freeze, cute and hilarious! I had to share it! 🤣
There are going to be people coming on here, purporting their own interpretation of what the song means... but it’s important to know that Freddie himself *never* spoke about the “meaning” of any of his songs. He preferred to leave it up to the listener.
Just keep that in mind when the theorists start commenting ! 😊
I’m Weak For Deaky 😂 IKR 🤣
I am happy to know that I am not the only one that thinks that way. Well said!
If you just read the lyrics...it's a really simple story.
Queen under pressure live at Wembley. 80,000 people and Freddie has them in the palm of his hand. You just gotta react to that 👌👍👌👍
well its a classic!
I've gottta say I've watched a million of these but yours is by far the best and most special
