I’m glad to see you doing some more Queen👑 I’d like to see some of Roger Taylor’s & Brian’s solo work. Suggest Rogers song Old Friends the video, tribute to Freddy. Brian May band live at Brixton Academy. 🔥🔥

His song writing was great and his bass parts always fit the songs perfectly. Some were simple and some very complex but always melodic and just right. A shame that they weren't made more prominent in the final mixes on the albums because they were gems. Everyone goes for the flashy stuff and John was purposely not flashy nor sought the spotlight. I have heard Brian call him "our dear Deakie" and say they miss him but it was actually painful for John to play with them any more. He was also loyal to Queen's legacy and Freddie and left for those reasons and to be a good husband and father. He showed true character in doing so. Miss him but there are always the videos.

Hey thanks, guys for reviewing this iconic song. I love this video watching Freddie prance about in crazy, carefree outfits. This whole concert @ Montreal, 1981, is to die for.
Freddie had beer on the piano. Deaky had a whole bar set up behind his amp and was often flying high by the end of a show but still never missed a beat. One way to overcome his shyness. :)
Well, he had two beers on the piano, and didn t even drink those up - he was hardly sloshed... if not by the adrenaline that must have flushed his system.
Rogers voice and also Brian has a great voice as well, Brian is one of the most underrated guitar players in the world, it's criminal, he is only recently being recognised. Notice no massive gap at the front of the stage between the band and the fans, that's how they rolled lol.
PS, this concert and the Hungarian Rhapsody concert were both FILMED, not taped, so the quality is superb. As someone who saw them back "in the day" they were almost always better live.
Roger Fucking Taylor indeed. Him and John Deacon are truly underappreciated (John was a hit writer, Roger with his vocals). Same concert, Save Me. Has Brian May on piano, Freddie singing while running down some steps,, and effortless vocals by Freddie. In the Lap of the Gods at the Rainbow (careful, there's 2 versions). Roger's falsetto is otherworldly. Tbh, anything from Montreal 81 was amazing. I'll have to watch the concert again when I get home from work tonight
Hi Guys, never in my life have I been so glad this concert was videoed, from beginning to end. Freddie went nuts. He was so into the performance, still with a regard for his band mates & the crowd, other than Live Aid, it might have been the performance of his life.He just took it to a higher level, & it’s hard to even contemplate Freddie at a higher level than his ‘normal’ performances. Watch the show from beginning to end-pick your favorite parts (you may have already done that wit the end), Freddie was totally in command, he just took it & ran away with it. He did everything in the moment he felt like doing-it wasn’t choreographed. He just ran away with it. I LOVE this CD, & I love your ratings-I mean, even picking out a couple of minor flaws, who else does rock purely by instinct. Thanks, see ya soon😻
THIS IS WHY ROGER TAYLOR IS A LEGEND!!!!! His voice is so powerful and doesn't even sound like his normal speaking voice, not only that, but he is an amazing drummer. But when you can sing and play at the same time, that's when it becomes impressive! I feel like he doesn't get enough credit for that. I would rate this a 10, maybe it's cause I show a lot of favoritism towards Queen, but I respect your guys' opinions! The transition from "We Will Rock You" to "We Are the Champions" is DEFINITELY one of the best transitions I have ever seen in my life!!! Great reaction video Andy and Alex! I'm still in shock that you never knew "We Are the Champions" was right after "We Will Rock You", they've been doing that for a while now, despite the Magic tour. That order was "We Will Rock You", "Friends Will Be Friends", and "We Are the Champions".
You guys are right on regarding Roger Taylor. Definitely the secret sauce of Queen, most bands would kill to have a guy that could sing like that but in Queen he’s the drummer, lol.
They always end their show with We Will Rock You then We Are the Champions!!!!! He always had beer and water on his piano. If you noticed even at Wembley before he sang Under Pressure he grabbed a drink off the piano. Third time I’m going to try this. PLEASE react to the first 16 minutes of Wembley 7/12/86. It’s a great opening and then a medley of their old rock songs where Brian goes nuts on the guitar. There’s only one stop when Freddie says hi to everyone and then continues. It’s amazing. I was freaked to see Freddie start Seven Seas of Rhye- his hand was so damn fast on the piano I couldn’t see his fingers!!!!!
I read part of an article in which Stevie Val was interviewed concerning great guitarists, he spoke of Brian May. He met him when he was young in a bar on the West Coast, and May invited him back to the studio where they were working. Brian let Stevie play his hand made guitar and he was thrilled at the opportunity. He said he has never been able to duplicate Brian May’s tone even using his guitar.
@@imgoodatmoaning9561 this was filmed on two nights. The first night Freddie wore the shorts for the encore. The band hated the crew filming so much that they locked their manager out of the dressing room and on the second night, just to piss off the filming crew Freddie wore the shorts for the entire show. Queen later released this as, We Will Rock You, much later it was released as Queen Rocks Montreal.
Freddy spells magical performance no matter what or where it is. Our high school sports theme as many from the 80s. Those 2 songs always played together when they came out. Still do.
Eva Sellden Yes! Budapest for sure. Wembley’s version is great too but I think Budapest’s was even better. Amazing song, and you get to see Brian playing keyboard 😊
@@laurenraubaugh9542 Yeah as much as I love the raw emotion at (Friday's) Wembley performance, it doesn't top Budapest for me. All 4 are perfectly in sync and the amazing footage complements it all 👌
I can't argue with any of the suggestions put forward. 'Save Me' from this same concert is a must if you want to see a mesmeric performance between Brian and Freddie on the Piano. 'One Vision' followed straight away by 'Tie Your Mother Down' with the crowd bouncing around at Wembley in 86. The trio of 'In the Lap of the Gods', 'Seven Seas of Rye' and 'Tear it up' also from the same concert. 'You take my breath away' at Hyde Park in 76 is something special. You know what, fuck it, just watch every live performance you can squeeze in!!
Yay it’s FREDDIE! He and Queen were totally on fire there! Woo hoo! They were 🧨! Brilliant reaction! You were so into this Alex! Thanks for this, best head banging I’ve seen in a while!❤️
They are working so hard but appear to be so relaxed. Freddie interacting with the audience while singing powerfully as Roger is also singing while playing the drums. I love Queen because of how involved the audience interactions are.
You've been checking out a lot of Queen's more hardcore things lately. Why not slow things down with a sweet ballad? Live, go for You Take My Breath Away in Hyde Park 1976, it's just Freddie and his piano, singing his angelic falsetto previewing this gorgeous song that hadn't even been recorded in studio yet. For a studio song, a must-hear beautiful tune is My Melancholy Blues. Thanks for all you do and keep yourselves alive dudes!
I am so thrilled that you young guys LOVE QUEEN! I'm 71 and have been a die hard fan since WAY BACK WHEN! I am so very happy that you really appreciate this FABULOUS group!
Queen again, yes! This was a great concert. React to Save Me (Brian on piano) and Dragon Attack (Brian and John just jam) from this Montreal concert; you will not be disappointed.
This was so uplifting! Freddie is so comfortable in himself & body... That's why the voice is so amazing! A&A, you took me back to High School. Before every Football game, the guys played this song... Could hear it everywhere. Flashback Wednesday for me. :) It's been a great week thus far. Great reactions fellas. Peace. :)
Yes - 70mm film will be comparable to 8K, if not higher. Not much was recorded on it, bar hollywood movies, cos it was so expensive. Check out the Apollo 11 movie. That's from 1969 and looks like it was recorded today.
Great reaction - if you enjoyed this live show, I will kindly recommend (again lol) that you watch SAVE ME live, as Queen sing it at this same Montreal concert, which was shot on 35mm film which is why it looks such great quality. SAVE ME! ;) x
Love this version! Love to play this concert to sleep by! Love Freddie’s short! I like roger but he doesn’t enunciate well. He chews his words. Even with Freddie’s overbite you understand each and every word clearly. He enunciated beautifully every word.
For the next live Queen reaction you should do Rock In Rio Blues ! It's a vocal improvisation and it perfectly showcases Freddie's range. I'm sure it will give you the chills !
Great music and a semi nekkid Freddie, such fun. Thanks guys.👍👍 As for suggestions for next time around, how about any part of the rock and medley - Wembley '86. It's basically the boys just having fun.
YEAH!!! I was missing the Queen!! I love seeing you guys get blown away them. For a couple other live Queen performance, please consider the medley from Live at the Rainbow as well as the medley from Live at Wembley (In the Lap of the Gods Revisted, Seven Seas of Rhye, Tear It Up) but if you do that one be sure it's from the SATURDAY show... not the Friday show. :)
Yes, also the medley at the Hammersmith Odeon '75. I love the Wembley medley. The power in Freddie's voice on In The Lap Of The Gods, is something else.
Guys, I saw them in Nashville 2 weeks ago & I can't tell you what a thrill it was to hear Brian swoop in on "We Will Rock You", play that famous BoRhap solo & Brighton Rock solo (looking like he was atop an asteroid, no less), so many great moments. He made his Red Special sing as beautifully as he ever did. And Roger still sounds great too, vocally & percussively. Plus their onstage camaraderie was beautiful (& fun) to watch. Of course you miss Freddie but they pay homage to him throughout the show..Brian's acoustic moment singing "Love of My Life" with thousands singing along & lighting the arena holding their phone lights aloft was emotional & beautiful. There were people of all ages there, as enthusiastic a crowd as you'll ever see. There's a reason these men are living legends & at 70 & 72 they're still able to demonstrate why. As an older fan who's loved them since their start, it was a joyful experience to see & hear them play their life's work live. If you get the chance when they come back on tour again, you should go. You'd enjoy every minute.💙 Oh, & you should check out some of the videos people have posted along the tour, especially some of Brian's solos & that LOML moment. Phones can't capture just how great it was but it gives you an idea.💙
Deborah Cornell - I was in Nashville too! Sixth row on Brian’s side, and worth every last penny. And then I spent the next couple of days scrambling to try to make a last-minute trip to NOLA possible to see them again... stupid work.
In the 70s, when I was young, women and men wore shorts like that all the time, though not as well as Freddie. My age group has trouble accepting what men call shorts now--that's what our fathers would have worn in their old age.
Brian said Freddie was a human metronome. But i totally agree, when Freddie plays the piano, he sings different. He was just a brilliant performer and vocalist. His vibrato is orgasmic. Thanks guys. Do Bohemian Rhapsody from this same concert. Its great, also Dragon Attack.
Absolutely fantastic, as always! Love to watch Queen live. This concert was one of the best ... hope you eventually get to Save Me and Play The Game, live in Montreal. Thanks so much for doing this!
I love you two! I’m old enough to be your Grandmother but really appreciate your critiquing bands from my generation. I have a song suggestion for you. Molly Hatchet...Flirtin with Disaster.
you must do “18 and life” by skid row. this is their biggest song along with “I remember you” probably the greatest hair metal song of all time. they are a 80s and 90s band who’s first album was released in 1989. their first album had 3 of their biggest songs. 18 and life was inspired by the guitarist reading a story in the newspaper about an 18 year old who accidentally killed his best friend with a gun. he didn’t know the gun was loaded. the 18 year old got prison for life. the singer, sebastian bach, has an extremely powerful voice which was meant for the song. the range of his voice was incredible and “18 and life” scored #4 on the US charts giving them their biggest hit.
I’ve Taught my 26 yr Daughter all this music & genres & she & I could rock out or whatever Like Steve Miller Band But Freddy & Boys Yessssssss Thank You Guys For Keeping Their Live Music Safe & Alive & Loved!!!! So Happy👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻‼️Mia In New Orleans
Guys, cheers for more Queen, always appreciated. I agree with you, Rock Montreal is my favourite live performance of theirs for its sheer energy. Talking of sheer energy, you’ve GOTTA check out Sheer Heart Attack from the same gig (literally the song before We Will Rock You I think); it’s Queen’s version of punk rock and its insane. Roger goes ballistic on the drums, John and Brian kill those riffs and Freddie... well, Freddie actually loses his mind in the moment. It’s something you’ve gotta watch next time you do Queen.
Very glad you chose the We Will Rock You, We are The Champions meld.from this concert in Montreux. The entire concert was awesome! Also timely you would show it now; September 5,6,7,8, are the "Freddie Celebration Days" in Montreux, honor of the 73rd anniversary of Freddie Mercury's birth, ( September 5th.) Queen did such amazing work & had personal there. Their music, as you both said, still is very relevant. Thank you much guys!
Literally *just* finished watching this concert for the first time with my mother (well, her 1st, my... 20th, maybe? LOL), and I log on to RUclips and see this!!! :D Fantastic timing guys, and adored the reaction, as always. Particularly loved the point about Freddie singing and playing the piano, there's always something so special about seeing that. Funnily enough I feel the opposite about 'We Are the Champions' studio vs. live... The way the studio version tails off without finishing the lyric (no '...of the world') *always* irritated me. It was such a relief when I finally heard the live versions where they finish the lyric, it was like filling a void that had been there for years!! :D Anyway, would love to see more reactions to their earlier 1974 and '75 concerts. :) All their performances are spectacular, but I've always found Queen's earnestness in those early concerts so endearing, when they know what they have to offer but haven't quite made it to the top yet.
Freddie often said his two musical idols were John Lennon and Elvis. "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" is his homage to Elvis, and Brian May's is "Dreamer's Ball."
You are spot on about Roger Taylor being a secret weapon with his live vocals. Freddie cut back on the live high notes due to nodules but Roger was always there filling in that top harmony.
Brian's tone is awesome alone, but was taken to the next level by the Vox amps customized by John Deacon, referred to as the Deaky Amp and, I believe, still used today. John had a degree in electronics. When the News of the World album was released, We Will Rock You (May) and We Are the Champions (Mercury) were always played back-to-back on the radio as if they were one song. Performing live, Queen somtimes purposely played another song in between to break them up. It upset the fans, and they finally gave up trying to separate them. 😂
@@jacobpaulson23 Ah, yes, they did add Friends Will Be Friends in between on the Magic tour. I took a peek at the set list from the Rhapsody tour, and the songs are back-to-back again.
This is the best ever live footage of Queen. It was filmed in Montreal in 1981. Moblevision developed technology to create a traveling IMAX show with a 5 story movie image. They approached Queen about filming them and eventually Freddy agreed. They wanted to shoot all band members so they used 8 cameras. They had to rotate 3-4 of 8 cameras each filled with with a 10 minute roll of 35 mm Kodak film. They also had people running back and forth to the cameras and a guy next to each cameraman to load the film and pull the focus. The cameras used double anamorphic lenses to squeeze as much detail onto the film as possible. There was no way to say take 1, take 2, etc. when filming so automatic slating was used to create an ID tag for every shot of film. It was the first time automatic slating was ever used. The 35 mm camera film was mastered onto 65 mm film. Many years later 700 Apple Mac G5’s spent one MONTH processing the film. A computation compared each frame with the ones before it and the ones after it to remove dirt, scratches and some of the defects of the original filming.
Late by years to the party, but wanted to make sure you guys know about the Roger and Brian Commentary of this Montreal '81 concert. It is enlightening, to say the least. Easy to find here on RUclips and you can watch the whole concert while they yack about things pertaining to the filming, the backstage antics, and Rog with half a dozen sexual innuendos. "I'm in Love With My Car" is Roger's sexy solo song, so hearing his voice alone is great fun. And of course, "Someone to Love," probably the best song of that entire concert (and there are many!). I saw Queen live in 1978 (Lakeland, FL - Jazz Tour) and the audience stomp*stomp*clapped for 30 minutes before the show started. On wooden bleachers. I can still feel the reverberations all these years later. You two really are awesome. Thank you!
Iconic Freddie...Oh, those itty, bitty shorts! He had a towel because he used it for all of his sweating earlier (This band gave their all for every performance!) Also, Roger sings the high ("dog-whistle voice" (Freddie's quote, not mine)) and Freddie the low in concerts. If you get a chance, check out NPR Fresh Air interview with Brian May where he talks about writing 'We Will Rock You". He IS the guitar master! QUEEN...great choice!!!! Thank you! 😀🔥🔥🤘❤️❤️
Freddie had voice problems since the late 70's, he had nodules on his vocal cords, because he used to belt the high notes live. So Roger with his naturally higher voice used to help him out in the high notes, often taking the high note and Freddie sang lower.
@@flyingcloud6776 Roger did often help with higher notes, but Freddie also still sang a lot of the high notes. People also forget that Freddie always performed an impromptu song during every night, where he would usually hit incredibility high notes. It was probably easier for him to confine the highest notes to one song, in order to preserve his vocal cords for a whole performance. Freddie had nodules or perhaps only the beginning of nodules since 1975. His voice was more dependent on the touring schedule, if they toured a lot or if they did a lot of dates together Freddie's voice would get tired. Freddie's voice at least tended to recover quite quickly. (Which is why some people believe he didn't really suffer from nodules). Roger is more of a natural tenor therefore it was easier for him to hit high notes more consistently, and of course he sang back up vocals, that also helps to preserve your voice. Even when Freddie's voice was tired his falsetto was never a problem for him. But he used less falsetto as Queen's shows started to grow, because falsetto is very soft, and he likely couldn't hear himself. Roger does have an amazing voice, these days he is actually singing all of the lower parts. But Roger did lose his high pitched falsetto in 1979. You can map it out with live performances of '39: '39 1976: Just listen to the resonance of Roger's falsetto, it is amazing. He completely over powers Freddie's delicate falsetto: ruclips.net/video/eufeD-oJ72E/видео.html '39 1977: Roger's falsetto is still intact here, Freddie's falsetto is a bit stronger: ruclips.net/video/mD36Yd4xM_g/видео.html '39 1979: Roger's high falsetto is gone, Freddie now has to take lead on the falsetto part: ruclips.net/video/Ou4u-lel2IY/видео.html
In your spare time between classes, y'all need to watch this whole concert. Its fucking out of this world. Legendary. I suggest on a big screen tv with the volume cranked ALL THE WAY UP. Rock on.
It so good to see you guys loving Queen I loved these in the 70s and 80s when I was young and have their albums and have never stopped enjoying them. At 69 now it's great to see a new generation loving these bands from a different era.
They shot this in double 35mm. The production company had ownership until recently; once Queen got control they had their best technicians work on it to get the video and audio synced up. The whole concert is worth watching now!
This song reminds me of my nephew. When I was about 18 he was 3, I'd be laying in bed, prob hungover, AND he would walk in my BR when my sis came over to visit. With a REAL high pitched voice start yelling, "We Will Rock You, We Will Rock You..." until I played it. Pissed me off at the time BUT good memories.
Just seen your channel for the first time and, for the first time have seen two young guys able to dissect and explain Freddie and Queen perfectly....Roger Taylor, Queen's secret weapon. Haha, love it!
Please, please, please do “It’s Late”, but it must be the Official lyrics one because the sound on it is awesome. You spoke about the tone of Brian’s guitar? Well, his solo in this one will blow your mind, I kid you not!!!!! I’m keeping my fingers crossed that you’ll do it this time of asking. I’m beginning to give up hope. 🙏🙏🙏 Love your channel, by the way! Keep up the good work.
Well as a born and raised Montreal person. Of course we are the greatest audience! Montreal was and is a progressive music and artistic city. We loved art rock of the 70's and early 80's. Bands were blowing up big here before anywhere else! Queen was one of them for sure.
The fact that you guys didn't stop We Are The Champions shows you _actually_ like music. Also agree with Andy 100%, I too was waiting for that guitar lick that Brian May usually plays before/during the 3rd "we are the champions" in that last chorus and its absence hurt my soul a little bit.
Was time to bring back some Queen, their love shows just seem to hit different! Amazing performance as always! Hope you guys are having a great Wednesday and overall week thus far! Cheers! 😁🔥🤟🏻

He just ran
away with it. I LOVE this CD, & I love your ratings-I mean, even picking out a couple of minor flaws, who else does rock purely by instinct.
Thanks, see ya soon😻
Actually there are some bits missing (I think Flash Theme and The Hero) and the DVD is made of both nights in Montreal.
I'm really happy to hear a shout out for Roger Taylor...I love his voice...and he's totally incredible on drums!!
Yes, Roger is the best that’s for sure
You guys are right on regarding Roger Taylor. Definitely the secret sauce of Queen, most bands would kill to have a guy that could sing like that but in Queen he’s the drummer, lol.
ahhh i missed the queen reactions so much!!
this and the final joker trailer made my day :))
Not many reactors appreciate Roger’s amazing voice so I thank you both for that!
I was lucky enough to see Queen + Adam Lambert when they came to Pittsburgh! I wish I could have seen Freddie live, but Adam does an amazing job.
He said he has never been able to duplicate Brian May’s tone even using his guitar.
oh you’d definitely love "You Take My Breath Away" live at Hyde Park because Freddie and the piano
Freddie’s voice is awesome even barefoot in “drawers”-why not be comfortable?
Still would love “One Vision” Live at Wembly Thx😎
Totally agree with you about the comfort thing. I would love to wear my slippers at work.
great show opener
Shirley Muhleisen Agree!!! It was a great opening
Do Wembley 1st night
@@imgoodatmoaning9561 this was filmed on two nights. The first night Freddie wore the shorts for the encore. The band hated the crew filming so much that they locked their manager out of the dressing room and on the second night, just to piss off the filming crew Freddie wore the shorts for the entire show. Queen later released this as, We Will Rock You, much later it was released as Queen Rocks Montreal.
Another great reaction! I'm here for all the Queen videos!
Oh, the sound of Brian May's guitar cranked through a wall of Vox AC30s...
Yep he got that off Rory Gallagher ......classic sound
Freddy spells magical performance no matter what or where it is. Our high school sports theme as many from the 80s. Those 2 songs always played together when they came out. Still do.
Same here! Just wrote that in my comment. It definitely was a flashback. :)
Queen - Dead On Time.....NEXT...CHEERS)))
🎸🎼Who is still listening or watching QUEEN'S Masterpiece " We will Rock You" ??? Love you Freddie your rocking it from up there now.
For next Queen I vote *"Who wants to live forever" - live in Budapest '86* 🙌
Eva Sellden Yes! Budapest for sure. Wembley’s version is great too but I think Budapest’s was even better. Amazing song, and you get to see Brian playing keyboard 😊
@@laurenraubaugh9542 Yeah as much as I love the raw emotion at (Friday's) Wembley performance, it doesn't top Budapest for me. All 4 are perfectly in sync and the amazing footage complements it all 👌
I think the Wembely version is better because of the emotion of the song. But all of them are pretty good.
Thanks for this, best head banging I’ve seen in a while!❤️
Pat McNair it truly was a great performance
They are working so hard but appear to be so relaxed. Freddie interacting with the audience while singing powerfully as Roger is also singing while playing the drums. I love Queen because of how involved the audience interactions are.
Save Me - Queen. From this same concert. Well worth checking out. You won’t be disappointed 👍
AGREE, this live version of you take my breath away is amazing.
Yeees! I said it before, first Live at Hyde Park (sung even before it was recorded) and than studio version. Both magnificent.
@@angelaversnik4570 First live in Edinburgh 76(performed even before Hyde Park).

Also queen and Freddie bloopers. Those are the best
Kayla Cohn true that.✌
Always impressive, the best and Freddie the best voice in the world 👏👏👏❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
React to queen save me live Montreal, or who wants to live forever live Wembley. both songs feature parts with Brian playing piano!
Nice choice!
More of Queen please!🤗
Не Юрий Хованский yes yes yes
Хаахах
I just love everything they have done, but, especially love their live performances, they are just pure “class” 😍
'Cool cat' by Queen, you will not be expecting it.
And See What a Fool I’ve Been, different but again always brilliant, what a voice ❤️Freddie❤️
Freddieeeeeeeeeeeeee.......we miss You! The Legend; R.I.P. 🙏🏻👏🏻🌺
Peace. :)
It looked like it was shot on film rather than videotape. That always looks better.
It was shot on 70mm film.
yup. 35mm is equal to 4K quality (in this case was converted to HD). Standard definition video is 720x480 resolution.
SAVE ME! ;) x
Staying power at Milton Keynes bowl, somebody to love at Milton Keynes bowl, impromptu Wembley stadium.
and Back Chat
please react to "You Take My Breath Away" live in Hyde Park! it definitely took my breath away
THIS!!!!!
just Freddie and his piano, beautiful!
@@Potatopot724 one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard
Love this version! Love to play this concert to sleep by! Love Freddie’s short! I like roger but he doesn’t enunciate well. He chews his words. Even with Freddie’s overbite you understand each and every word clearly. He enunciated beautifully every word.
For the next live Queen reaction you should do Rock In Rio Blues ! It's a vocal improvisation and it perfectly showcases Freddie's range. I'm sure it will give you the chills !
47clem Best falsetto and range ever!!!! Love it
Great music and a semi nekkid Freddie, such fun. Thanks guys.👍👍 As for suggestions for next time around, how about any part of the rock and medley - Wembley '86. It's basically the boys just having fun.
Thank you again for appreciating all of Queen
Absolutely made my day watching your reactions! This is such a high energy song, love it. And thousands of people singing along, truly priceless.
You'd enjoy every minute.💙
Oh, & you should check out some of the videos people have posted along the tour, especially some of Brian's solos & that LOML moment.
Awesome reaction. Love the Montreal concert- one of the best. You should react to Save Me from that same concert. Also the One Vision video.
Literally no one can rock those tiny shorts except Freddie!!
In the 70s, when I was young, women and men wore shorts like that all the time, though not as well as Freddie. My age group has trouble accepting what men call shorts now--that's what our fathers would have worn in their old age.
Queen Somebody to Love Milton Keynes. BEST INTRO FREDDIE EVER DID. ITS BREATHTAKING. PLEASE REVIEW NEXT. YOU WONT BE SORRY
Bruzer Bites Love the intro too!!
You are the first I have ever seen doing these reactions that actually got Roger's and Brian's contributions to the vocals. Kudos guys!
Queeeeeeeen. I love it!!!! More Queen pleaseeeeeee
You should watch that full concert it is amazing nobody holds a crowd like freddie he is mesmerising.😘
I love you two! I’m old enough to be your Grandmother but really appreciate your critiquing bands from my generation. I have a song suggestion for you. Molly Hatchet...Flirtin with Disaster.
Save me from this very concert is incredible
you must do “18 and life” by skid row. this is their biggest song along with “I remember you” probably the greatest hair metal song of all time. they are a 80s and 90s band who’s first album was released in 1989. their first album had 3 of their biggest songs.
Dreamers Ball live, Paris 1979. Written by Brian May...see Freddie bring Louisiana to Paris and enjoy himself immensely while doing it.
Betsey Clark Brian’s ‘trombone’ & Roger’s ‘trumpet’ make that song for me 😆
It's amazing in every way. My heart is happy today
Anyway, would love to see more reactions to their earlier 1974 and '75 concerts. :) All their performances are spectacular, but I've always found Queen's earnestness in those early concerts so endearing, when they know what they have to offer but haven't quite made it to the top yet.
Saw them live in Melbourne in 1985. Best concert of my life!! What a showman!!
Love this. If you watch closely, you can see Elvis inspiration All over this.
Freddie what instrument do you play? The crowds darling!! 😊🤘❤
I swear Alex that face you make when he goes to those high notes is exactly what I do. He hits those with perfection, no cracks. Fucking beast.
Those that didn't grow up back in the day have NO idea how epic the concerts were. Proud to say I saw Queen twice in their glory days. 😎
Well they did play friends will be friends inbetween on their last tour
@@jacobpaulson23 That's the song they played before, I believe. Maybe they're still not over it. 😂 Did you get to see this tour?
@@lala_sparkles8035 when I say last I meant the magic tour in 86,and no sadly I wasn't even born for another 13 years
@@jacobpaulson23 Ah, yes, they did add Friends Will Be Friends in between on the Magic tour.
Thank you! 😀🔥🔥🤘❤️❤️
Roger lost his "dog whistle" falsetto in 1979. At this stage in Queen's performance you would unfortunately not see it.
You can map it out with live performances of '39:
'39 1976:
Just listen to the resonance of Roger's falsetto, it is amazing. He completely over powers Freddie's delicate falsetto:

'39 1977:
Roger's falsetto is still intact here, Freddie's falsetto is a bit stronger:

I LOVE it when you can hear Roger's sweet grit!
Gotta watch Live Aid for the most historically impactful performance. That's some crowd energy to behold. Queen stole the show.
What a gift Freddie Mercury was. His live singing sometimes sounds better than the recorded versions.
The respect on your faces A&A, it looks like you're witnessing a miracle ❤️
If you want to see a performance with energy and more, check out Fat Bottomed Girls, live at The Bowl. It's the best.
We are the Champions always followed We will rock you including when played on the radio, even today!
Love your channel, by the way! Keep up the good work.
+ 1 It Late is one of the best Queen songs. The guitar is amazing.
**Zenobia** - It’s best listened to as LOUD as you dare!!! 🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿
I’ve been bugging them to do this one all year! One of these days...
Sara Stich - We’ll have to keep the pressure on! Andy and Alex don’t know what they’re missing!!!!
I’m with you guys! I think they’d love It’s Late & the louder the better 😁
Well as a born and raised Montreal person. Of course we are the greatest audience! Montreal was and is a progressive music and artistic city. We loved art rock of the 70's and early 80's. Bands were blowing up big here before anywhere else! Queen was one of them for sure.
RESPECT. RESPECT. RESPECT. nothing more to say.
