That’s just a hint of how great the Live at Wembley 1986 concert is. Freddie sings incredibly. I hope you guys watch the entire concert. Freddie wrote that love song.
I was at this concert - i was very young and it was the first concert I ever went to. All these years later, I can still remember singing along to this song. It was a pretty electrifying moment.
Alex, your reaction to the crowd singing nearly made me cry. A lot of crowds sing along at concerts today, but when Queen hit the scene that wasn't the norm. By 1986, when this performance occurred, Freddie Mercury was the master of crowds. Just the wave of his hand and the audience did his bidding. This really is a beautiful song. Originally written for piano, they transposed it to guitar for live performances. Brian May mentioned once that it was very difficult to do because of the way Freddie wrote music. Great job Andy and Alex. Your reactions were priceless.
Well crowds don't often sing so much of the song, and this song never charted in the UK, so you would not think that the audience could sing it note for note.
There's an anecdote that somebody asked Freddie which instrument he was playing. He reportedly replied "The audience". Not sure it's true but I can imagine that happening.
What I find even more impressive is how, when they'd play a country where English isn't the mother tongue (and this was nowhere near as small a world in those days), the crowd would pick it right up as if it were at Wembley or MSG. See in particular the one from Rock in Rio '85 --spine-tingling stuff. What a band...
@@NebulizerChi i think the first time that happened was in with this song in South America.. the crowd just carried the whole song.. they knew it word for word. I'm sure that there were songs that they did when they performed in Japan in the early days that had the same effect with the audience.
I know I'm a year late lol but Freddie said in an interview that he didn't write this song for anyone- it was just something he made up. However either John Reid or Peter Freestone (can't remember which lol) said that Freddie told him he wrote it for his boyfriend at the time, David Minns.
The only major relationship he ever had with a lady. And she was his best friend and godfather to her kids. Must have been one hell of a decent guy for Mary to do that.
You may notice Freddie’s amazing voice cracking a couple of times. That’s because in this concert, his vocal chords were heavily damaged for constant touring, similar situation as his Live Aid concert. What he was able to accomplish during adversity was out of this world.
Aside from his throat/vocal cord issues at the time, I have no doubt his girlfriend Mary was on his mind, every time FM sang this song... which brought up emotions in him that made his voice just a tad 'unstable' - without fail. She was the love of his life, after all...
just one voice and one 12 string acoustic but such a beautiful and powerful song, this is great but i prefer the bowl version (i still love you, and dont you forget it) only because i saw them 3 days before at ingliston 👑✊🇬🇧
The Rio version is so great because the crowd sings almost the entire song as Freddie orchestrates. The crowd is massive, and English is not their native language. It's pretty incredible.
Disagree the Wembley crowd being English and his home crowd make this the best ever .Unless your British you dont understand the connection he had with his home fans .
Also, forgot to say - didn’t want to edit my last post - that Freddie had and still has that ability to mesmerise people just as he did with Alex. Male, female, straight or gay, young or old - it makes no difference. He was a very special human being.
The Wembley crowd was good but if you heard this from São Paulo 81 or Rio 1985 (250,000 people as featured in the movie) Freddie hardly sings anything. The audience is deafening. The original is from A night at the opera and is beautiful....along with a harp
It's Hard to imagine that this song was immediately after prophet song on the album, but the way it flowed from one song to the next, you have to hear both to believe it
He was one of a kind. Wonderful voice, plays instruments, and has great stage presence. This is such a pretty and acoustic song. Again, thanks guys for taking me back to high school, and growing up and listening to this fabulous band. Kudos
There Will never be another One like Freddie....he had the crowds eating out of his Hands .....plus. ....Queenfans knew what they were expected to do.....Love of my Life means....we Sing ....we Will rock you ...we clap .... I agree of Brian Mays Guitar play being Just incredibly beautyful
We reciprocate what they make us feel. If you feel them, show them! We're not expected to do anything. They give their love, and we love them back! The worthiness and loyalty between artist and fan are one. Hence loving, adoring and supporting fans, = hard work, new music... along with what brought us to our love for them in the beginning, brings us ever closer. A true, loyal QUEEN fan, means you're in it for life. If you do not feel this in your hearts, you're wasting your time. Check out a new shit radio station that plays new nonsense bullshit that you will forget in a couple months and move on the next new bullshit, and so on and so on. MTV first came to life on Sept.1, 1981, with The Buggles, Video Killed the Radio Star. When QUEEN stepped on that stage in Wembley, they killed all the nonbelievers perceptions of them. QUEEN are the true, real life, radio, video compilation of ALL TIME! Forever, and Ever, AMEN.
I absolutely loved when both of your mouths dropped open, as Freddie started directing the crowd to sing. He was pure magic. This was the song he wrote for Mary Austen, who he said was the "Love of his Life " Along with bulk of his estate, he left her the royalties to this song since it was for her. Keep up the good work and have a great week! Cheers !!
not just the royalties to this songs but every song he had written before Innuendo when the group decided to share the writing credits. There was rumors that the other band members were going to take legal action against her to get the royalties for other popular songs written by Mercury, but that was rumors.
I witnessed this at Leeds when I saw Queen live, Bryan May played the guitar and Freddie controlled the audience. Something I will never ever forget, magical.
This is how the song was adapted for live performances, purely acoustic and inviting audience participation. The original studio version has piano, electric guitar, harmonies and... harp! You'll love it when you hear it. Same lyrics, same melody but whole different experience.
Love of my life is always a special one to see in the live shows :) Brian and Roger use this video now when they play shows so the crowd can still sing along with Freddie while Brian plays live ❤ beautiful!
Yes and in one video I watched Brian was in tears. All these years later. I would go to there concert now just to see the hologram of Freddie singing .
Every time I watch this concert I start crying during this song. So emotional, so beautiful. Queen owns the world. Freddie's voice is the most gorgeous voice I've ever heard. Everybody fell under a spell listening to them.
This is my favorite reaction so far. Alex's reaction was so perfect!!!!!! I LOVE IT! "He was teaching... " "that make me feeling something..." That is PERFECT! That is the point, right? You guys are great. Peace and love...
Freddie points to the audience and says, "I still love you" and I instantly start sobbing. 😭 I loved your facial expressions!!! I want you both to rewatch this video in 10 years and record your reactions. I'm pretty sure by then you will understand how truly devastating this song is.
Andy and Alex, have you ever heard thousands of people know the words and notes of a song and sing in unison so nicely that the singer himself did not need to even sing? Some mega-stars need to hear their own voices, but Freddie's love and confidence allowed each and every audience member enjoy themselves. In this rendition, he let the crowd be the Superstars. Brian's guitar was of course so special. Thanks for sharing!
Only Freddie could write a song with a few, simple words and a few notes, no frills, mostly in one octave, and sing it so beautifully. No Bob Dylan, not even Elvis, nobody will ever make you feel so emotionally involved with such a simple, yet powerful song. You can not help but just being transfixed at him in awe.
No one could control a crowd like Freddie. He was the master of performance. I'm so, so happy this younger generation (hey, I'm only 50 but you guys are younger than my kids lol) is finding the great band that is Queen. I've watched many of your first reaction videos and it always makes me emotional to watch. Thank you so much for bringing a new appreciation for Freddie and Queen.
Alex's FACE when the crowd started singing was priceless. Freddie honestly could have told the crowd to go jump off a cliff and they would have thrown themselves off it with gladness. Anyway something else from this concert that's loads of fun is their little fun medley that they did after this, with all of them effectively goofing off. IIRC it's (You're So Square) Baby I Don't Care/Hello Mary Lou/Tutti Frutti/Gimme Some Lovin' and they are literally just mucking around having a great time, it makes me so happy.
"Alex's FACE when the crowd started singing was priceless." IKR? I enjoy watching the guys; now I wonder what my expression is like when I first hear/see something new online...lol.
Thank you for this guys, one of my absolute favourite renditions of this song, so glad you finally got to this one! Now you see the true genius and talent that is Freddie and Brian! They are a unique pairing aren't they?
Pure magic. The song is so tender and beautiful, but this arrangement (which is Brian's, done especially for lives) is even better to me than the original. The audience participation is so entrancing.
such a beautiful ballad. No one could have written or performed a song like that except QUEEN . The original is far more orchestrated / including a Harp . I cant help but to get Misty when I hear this song...I truly believe Freddie really did Love his audiences.. unlike many artists who treat the audience as a mere stepladder to their success. Freddie honored them with every note he sang, and never forgot who put him where he was !
Freddie was mesmerizing to the point you couldn’t take your eyes off of him ♥️🎸🎤 He had such a commanding presence you could not deny ♥️ One of a kind 💖 RIP
I love how you guys appeared to be completely transfixed on the screen! One of my favorite renditions of this song, there are times when Freddie has sang it better, but the emotion carries this one. It is also one of Queen's last live performances so that adds extra weight to the song. The live version is very different from the studio version, but the studio version also holds its own charm. It is also amazing to watch when Brian May performs this song live these days, at the end they use a clip from this concert and Freddie sings the last part, perhaps you guys should watch that. It is heart wrenching to see how people are still crying their eyes out to this day, when Freddie appears to sing that last part. Freddie was a very special performer, singer and frontman.
@@sannaolsson9106 That is why I said one of their last, I didn't mean it was exactly their last performance. Their last performance was obviously at Knebworth, and Freddie sang It's In Every One Of Us with Cliff Richards, that was really his last performance.
This is probably my favorite of your reaction videos to date. The look on both your faces was epic, almost looked like you were both on the verge of tears. This clip of Freddie specifically touches the soul. Looking forward to seeing more.
The last time I saw a mouth gaping open (like yours both did) it had a hook in it! Beautiful song. Heavenly vocal. Amazing guitar. Audience in the palm of his hand, the crowd singing along. Name one person alive now who can recreate such a moment. How rewarding must it be to someone to enthrall thousands! The world really needs more music and less madness. As Brian said, inscribed on his statue...lover of life, singer of songs.
A little background on this song. Originally from A Night At The Opera. The song is like a classical piece which Freddie gets to show off his rubato style of playing, and of course his vocal and writing chops. The songs is originally in C major and resolving in F major. They started to perform this song live in 1977 on the News Of The World tour. Since the LP version is so complex, they decided that a simple intimate version of the song was warranted, performed in A major. The audience participation happened organically, especially in Europe. When they released Live Killers from the 1979 Euro tour, this song is on the album and during the second verse, Freddie stops singing and Brian stops playing and the audience takes over. This was not planned at all. They released the live version as a single and was a semi hit in Europe, in South America, it was massive. It stayed on the Argentinian charts for an entire year. When Queen toured SA in Fed/March of 1981, and they performed this song, Freddie did not have to sing one lyric. The audience is in unison, singing in perfect English, considering the locals language was Spanish or Portuguese. You should look up vids from 1981 SA tour. And yes the audio from the movie is from the Rock In Rio gigs from 1985, which illustrate my point. Glad you guys liked it and your critique was on point. Keep up the good work and all the best.
I've seen this concert (Wembley '86) 5 times, and this still gets me! If you ever get a chance to see the Rock'nRoll medley they do during this concert, you will experience Queen and the audience having the most fun ever! Freddie is Ethereal. 😀❤️❤️
Yes I always find myself forgetting for a moment the studio track is piano rather than guitar cos Brian transferred it so well and it is just so stripped back yet meaningful and full of emotion! I love how entranced you both were with this performance too! Seen Brian playing this live twice. Just him on stage in 2005 and 2008 and it was awesome singing along to it!
just Freddie and a Brian may 12-String , unique for all time . And imagine this Performance even though he had problems with his vocal cords after a long tour.
As a 50 year old who loves great music I think it is very cool and refreshing to see a couple of younger guys who get it. Real music with amazing lyrics, no tricks, no lip-sync. Good job!
Always fun to watch your Queen first takes - and inspiring to see a new generation appreciating what is probably one of the most impactful bands to ever perform live. Queen is unmatched - and perhaps now the masses will know why so many of us cringed when autotune first came on the scene. If you get a chance (and keeping with a different twist on Queen’s music, check out ‘Under Pressure’ as performed live by Ben Burnley (Breaking Benjamin) and David Draiman (Disturbed) - the RUclips video was posted a couple of years ago. A surprise duet during one of BB’s tours - the two bands went on to tour together later in the year. It’s always great to see current artists paying homage to Queen!
This was a quiter moment of this concert. I would strongly recommend for you guys to watch/react to the entire Wembley 86 Concert (it is on RUclips) and load up your reaction in parts (it is 1hr50mins).
If you watch the video of this song in Sao Paolo, Brazil in 81, they were surprised of how the crowd knew the song and they literally let the crowd sing to them. For Queen that was the proof of how big they were in every corner in the planet and how much the fans loved them.
I just found you guys and I loved watching you discover this song, one of my favourites of all time. I've loved Queen and Freddie for most of my life, I was a teenager in the 70's. What an era in music. You guys are just so damn cute. I've subscribed to your channel now. Take it easy - from Australia!
A better show version of this song is indeed the Rock in Rio they showed in the movie. The crowd in that show is INSANE; it sang the song almost completely (and Freddie obviously let them xD) and was way louder than the Wembley one, and that's saying something. Anyway, your faces while watching the video were priceless ahahahah not that I can blame you, every time I watch one of Queen live performance I become awestruck (and sad inside because I'm never going to see one), also Freddie's control over people always leaves me out of words... He's not just in control of the situation, he's also in control of the people, which is not something every performer can do as well as he did, in my opinion.
There are only a few performers that can capture the hearts, soul, attention, and control, of an entire audience. Freddie Mercury was the best in doing that. Excellent comments from both of you! Another great reaction video. Thank you both!
Great reaction as always, Alex and Andy. You guys should check out Love of My Life at Montreal 1981. You don’t need to make a reaction video, just watch it in your spare time. The girls reaction at the very end of the song literally sums up everyone’s reaction to any Queen performance ever. Whoever has watched that performance will know what I mean lol.
Love your reactions! I was a teen in the 70's and saw many of these bands live. Good to know that their music is appreciated by some of your generation. Rock on guys! I'll be watching.
Hey guys how are you both? It’s a wonderful thing to see your faces , and how you get why this band is so special, and why they are the greatest ! and Fred what can you say a beautiful man you can’t help but fall in love with him , The record shop sounds like fun again many thanks for Queen day
Thank you guys! Watching your reaction to the one and only Freddie Mercury power was great. I've seen it soo many times, sung all over the world, even now with Brian May on stage with his acoustic guitar, and brief film footage of Freddie at the end of the song...does that same jaw dropping, heart gripping thing to me. Thank you. A 10 agreed!
I find myself really looking forward to your Wednesday Queen reaction videos. This song will get you EVERY time. The live guitar versions are so much better than the piano studio version.
The live version is amazing at Wembley, but the studio version is one of the most beautiful songs you will ever hear especially how the piano seems to be chasing the guitar in the solo.
Dale Q...Agreed. I personally feel the same ‘bout “You Take My Breath Away!” The studio version of that just blows me away....especially whenever I listen to it with headphones on!
Freddie was the master. Queen is one of kind. Never be anyone like them. Love when you react to Queen. If you haven't done so, you should react to Save Me live in Montreal
Hey guys. Thanks for making my Wednesdays worth waiting for. I used to hate the middle of the week before it became 'Queen Wednesday'. This song, I believe, was written by Freddie for Mary, his girlfriend before he 'came out' and who stood by him right until he passed away. It is an amazing performance, and the way the crowd joined in is very moving. Oh... and the looks on both of your faces was precious :) Many rate Live Aid as their best performance, but the crowd that day wasn't a pure Queen fanbase. This however was, and is one of my 'go too' concert videos when I'm in the mood for a rockin' good time. If I could recommend a show to watch it would be this one. I know some will say Rio or Montreal but they were both earlier in their careers and the catalogue of tunes that they had to call upon wasn't as large and I feel therefore the Wembley show has more diversity. Would love if you would do 'One Vision/Tie your mother down' from the same show. It's the opening track and shows how to get a concert underway and banging. Thanks for the awesome review, as always.
I love the reactions on your faces! When y'all are just sitting around you not doing much of anything, you really should check out the whole Wembley concert 1986. Amazing! I enjoy this channel immensely!
Freddie's movements are so graceful - from his earliest days through to the duet with Monserrat Caballe to his last video ("These Are the Days of Our Life"). He moves like a ballet dancer and points his toe/s a lot in movements. This is most noticeable in the Live Aid set but seen here a number of times. And that sweeping bow/curtsy!! I just enjoy watching him move so gracefully.
Guys, do check out the version from Rock in Rio. Quarter of a million people singing leaving Freddie speechless :) On the album version, it is coming straight off after Prophets Song, they are connected in a way. Sounds different, but really good.
That face you gave at 6:44 with your jaw dropping was perfect -- I rewound it back and your face was exactly the same!! LOL Good stuff. Loving your reactions!!!!
Thank you for the awesome reaction video. I LOVE that performance, it was so nice to see you guys getting to react to it! I am totally in agreement with the others here, PLEASE when you get the chance, watch "You Take My Breath Away". It and "The White Queen" (which I know you already reacted to), are my most favorite. May I also insist that you both review Freddie's last on video performance to the song :"Those Were the Days of Our Lives". Though Freddie was so incredibly ill at the time, (and died only six months after making that video), I am always so touched and in awe of his and the band's performance of that song-- the strength Freddie had, even though at times just standing exhausted him at that time- he was just an amazing person with a amazing talent, and a beautiful soul.
A 10+ all day long!! One of the greatest love songs ever written!! Fredfie wrote it for Mary, and it was a song the truly transcended physical love. Freddie in interviews often referred to Mary as his common-law wife. He said they didn't need to be married (that was for other people) because he and Mary believed in each other. And it was all true...Mary stayed with him until the end, and Freddie left her his incredible mansion and most of his fortune. That is true love!
@@annieanonymous611 Wow! That's really interesting! I've heard, in documentaries, from living band members that he did write it for Mary. I've also read over a dozen biographies on Freddie and Queen, and several mention he wrote it for Mary. I would love and truly appreciate the truth. If you could send me the titles of books, documentaries, interviews etc. I would love to learn more about this. I have heard Freddie several times explain songs, and then contradict himself by saying the lyrics didn't mean anything. I have also heard Freddie get upset always having to try to explain his lyrics by saying that you wouldn't ask a poet about his poetry. But from all I've read and seen in the early years when he wrote this song, the song was for Mary. So please, please, send me all the documentation you have, because I am very interested in getting to the truth of this. Thanks so much!!
@@annieanonymous611 I'm sorry. Rereading it, I can see how you might get that impression. I apologize. I am sincere in my quest to know more about Freddie and Queen. If you have information I don't have, I am really interested in it. In no way did I mean to offend you. I love the discussions we get to have in the comments. I grew up with Queen, but information was difficult to get in the '70s and even '80s. I have learned a lot, and am hoping to learn from you!
@@lollinelson5549-A long time ago I heard an interview with Brian May where he says that the song is actually written from Mary's point of view. As if she were singing it to him. If you listen to it in that manner the song actually makes a lot more sense.
I love the stare you guys have midway. This is such an iconic performance for us Queen fans. The song is about Mary Austin. The studio version is on piano, but Brian arranged it for his 12 string for live performances.
In terms of audience participation - you guys really need to react to Bohemian Rhapsody being sung by the crowd at a Green Day concert in Hyde Park, London in 2017, I'll say that again 2017!! . It seriously gives you chills.
I love you two boys - I’ll adopt you as my RUclips grandsons!! Great reaction as always:) Dragon Attack Live at Milton Keynes 1982 is the best version via Queen Official. Freddie doesn’t forget his words like he did in Montreal!! And the “Go pretty boy” to Roger is hilarious. Please❤️
Saw a few reactions to Dragon Attack Live. You guys GOTTA do back-to-back reactions for Montreal and Milton Keynes live or pick one. Never has there been better rock - guitar.bass line.drums.vocals. Freddie in tight white jeans gyrating everywhere Seriously LET’S DO IT💪🏼
Such a beautiful song ❤️ There's footage from one of the concerts with adam lambert. Brian begins performing this song then that very footage of freddie appears on this big screen. I got choked up watching it
Brian speaks Japanese to the fans. Queen + Adam Lambert - Love Of My Life (Live at Summer Sonic 2014) ruclips.net/video/7Ziutxv-OKw/видео.html Love how emotional the audience is when Freddie appears. Of course, this video always brings tears.
finally u are realizing its the live shows that u need to watch. Agree with jeepster abt take my breath away at hyde park. Dragon Attack live in montreal (anything from montreal is great) wembley 86: under pressure, now im here, who wants tolive forever. Rock in Rio great stuff there too.
❤❤God I miss Freddie’s voice and strut. Such an amazing band. All four of them. This song written for Mary Austin the love of Freddie’s life -his best friend. She’s the only person who knows where Freddie’s ashes were placed. He said no one would ever understand him like she did. He left her the bulk of his fortune and his house which she still lives in.

Best ever
I absolutely loved when both of your mouths dropped open, as Freddie started directing the crowd to sing. He was pure magic. This was the song he wrote for Mary Austen, who he said was the "Love of his Life " Along with bulk of his estate, he left her the royalties to this song since it was for her. Keep up the good work and have a great week! Cheers !!
@Stephanie Turnage
Thank you! Was a brilliant show! ❤️😁
not just the royalties to this songs but every song he had written before Innuendo when the group decided to share the writing credits.

You are right, it is so beautiful to be there and watch that video of Freddie with Brian playing guitar right there.
Every live version of Love of my life is so full of emotions ❤️
You guys look hypnotize and memorized
@SirIntegrity
Always happens with Queen live!
*Mesmerized
The one and only Freddie Mercury and Queen. God, what a voice.
This is my favorite reaction so far. Alex's reaction was so perfect!!!!!! I LOVE IT!
"He was teaching... " "that make me feeling something..." That is PERFECT! That is the point, right? You guys are great. Peace and love...
Your faces were completely spellbound. Love it! Goosebumps.
Wonderful Queen song. Freddie, had such a huge stage presence he is greatly missed.
Freddie being a true music maestro☀️🎤 Brian strumming our 💓 strings on guitar 🎸
In their current live shows Brian sings this alone and the bring Freddie out on the screen to sing the last few lines with him. It’s incredible to see
You BOTH actually got it! So glad that your review echoes my own! Forever Freddie!
These guys had no reaction at all! I'm not not sure what anyone else was watching but it must have been different to me
Only Freddie could write a song with a few, simple words and a few notes, no frills, mostly in one octave, and sing it so beautifully.
Glad you did this one, oh Freddie how beautiful you are the love his fans have for him & roger, Brian & John will never die 😍
BTW, Brian May, the guitarist just incidentally is an astrophysicist
Chucky Lad , Professor May to you and i 😉
Yes, Dr. May, has been consulted by NASA
Leonie Actually, it’s probably Sir since he’s been knighted. Not a bad collection of titles.
And if I'm not remembering wrong, he has an asteroid or comet or something named after him, since he discovered it.
such a beautiful ballad.
Hits you deep in the guts, dont it? Pure voice and sound. So much meaning in the words
Freddie was mesmerizing to the point you couldn’t take your eyes off of him ♥️🎸🎤 He had such a commanding presence you could not deny ♥️ One of a kind 💖 RIP
I love this beautiful song that Freddie wrote for Mary - the love of his life
I love how you guys appeared to be completely transfixed on the screen!
It's not really one of their last performances, actually. They were kinda in the middle of their tour here.
@Heidi Settimo
Thank you! It was pulling our heart strings for sure! ❤️❤️
This is my favorite performance of this song. But the Rio one is amazing too. ❤❤❤
What he said!
Brilliant commentary. Thank you
I've seen this concert (Wembley '86) 5 times, and this still gets me! If you ever get a chance to see the Rock'nRoll medley they do during this concert, you will experience Queen and the audience having the most fun ever! Freddie is Ethereal. 😀❤️❤️
I only have 2 words - Simply Stunning!!!
Loved the song. Queen for ever
just Freddie and a Brian may 12-String , unique for all time .
And imagine this Performance even though he had problems with his vocal cords after a long tour.
This makes me cry. What a legend. Miss you forever..
I was at that concert. Best memory I have. Magical.
Matt Fischer I agree! I’ve mentioned they watch the entire concert a couple times. It was spectacular
YES!!! This concert is great. So rocking and so much fun! Even John is smiling a lot!
I get chills every time I hear this one live!
OMG i love your faces when you guys are listening Queen .... precious :)
Thanks for another great reaction Andy and Alex.
This is such a beautiful song.
Freddie and Brian : two masters at work .
🇧🇷💛💚 Brazil, Rock In Rio, 1985. 🙌👍👏👏👏
There are only a few performers that can capture the hearts, soul, attention, and control, of an entire audience. Freddie Mercury was the best in doing that. Excellent comments from both of you! Another great reaction video. Thank you both!
Seeing people of your age appreciating this music gives me hope for the future
Great reaction as always, Alex and Andy. You guys should check out Love of My Life at Montreal 1981. You don’t need to make a reaction video, just watch it in your spare time. The girls reaction at the very end of the song literally sums up everyone’s reaction to any Queen performance ever. Whoever has watched that performance will know what I mean lol.
Love your reactions! I was a teen in the 70's and saw many of these bands live. Good to know that their music is appreciated by some of your generation. Rock on guys! I'll be watching.
Hey guys how are you both? It’s a wonderful thing to see your faces , and how you get why this band is so special, and why they are the greatest !
and Fred what can you say a beautiful man you can’t help but fall in love with him ,
The record shop sounds like fun again many thanks for Queen day
I was at the edge of my seat mesmerized... Thanks for sharing this beautiful Freddy and Brian experience.. Love you guys, you are very passionate😎💜
Love watching young people watching legends like Queen. Im so envy your first experiences with these classic songs. These songs will never die.
Oh... and the looks on both of your faces was precious :)
Many rate Live Aid as their best performance, but the crowd that day wasn't a pure Queen fanbase.
I would love to see a reaction to Tie Your Mother Down!
Not forgetting Brian on acoustic guitar.
My favorite Queen song! He wrote it for his life long friend Mary.
In the lap of the gods revisited live at the Hammersmith odeon you're welcome
That is my favorite! ❤️ I've been suggesting it for a looong time 😂 That whole concert is just out of this world....💫
Yes... so much yes!!!
Nobody watches the version at the Rainbow 1974 which I assure you it's the best version ever.
marriusmal it’s really hard to pick & decide-I just watch & cry-so much love😻
@@frantepper206 You're right. The choice is subjective and all performances are great :)
Queen's live performances are simply Legendary!
I love the reactions on your faces! When y'all are just sitting around you not doing much of anything, you really should check out the whole Wembley concert 1986. Amazing! I enjoy this channel immensely!
Looking at you guys remind me of my own reaction to every Queen song. Superb! You keep asking for more.
Andy & Alex put "My Melancholy Blues" & "Lazing on a Sunday Afternoon" on your lists 👍🏼👍🏼
Love it. Love that you love it. Love that you listen. Thanks for sharing.
That face you gave at 6:44 with your jaw dropping was perfect -- I rewound it back and your face was exactly the same!! LOL Good stuff.
Loving your reactions!!!!
I was there as a 16 year old dudes! great day in sunny north London
I envy you..
Paul McInerney u
You're the man
Thank you for the awesome reaction video. Though Freddie was so incredibly ill at the time, (and died only six months after making that video), I am always so touched and in awe of his and the band's performance of that song-- the strength Freddie had, even though at times just standing exhausted him at that time- he was just an amazing person with a amazing talent, and a beautiful soul.
the look on your faces, Great and I am so happy that you are watching this concert Great songs on this one. Thanks
Actually he's quoted as saying he didn't write it for anyone but also some say he wrote it for his first boyfriend David Minns.
@@lollinelson5549 lol I feel there is sarcasm here
@@annieanonymous611 I'm sorry.
That was such a beautiful performance
Hey guys..Me again just watched one more time. Can't get enough of this video. LOVE IT . Canadians love you guys.
In terms of audience participation - you guys really need to react to Bohemian Rhapsody being sung by the crowd at a Green Day concert in Hyde Park, London in 2017, I'll say that again 2017!! . It seriously gives you chills.
Yes. We all had the same reaction. Freddie will be more missed than words can convey. Queen rules. Thanks for the perfect reaction.
Please❤️

Jodi Wood We’ll share!

Such a beautiful song ❤️
There's footage from one of the concerts with adam lambert. Brian begins performing this song then that very footage of freddie appears on this big screen.
I got choked up watching it

❤❤God I miss Freddie’s voice and strut. Such an amazing band. All four of them. This song written for Mary Austin the love of Freddie’s life -his best friend. She’s the only person who knows where Freddie’s ashes were placed. He said no one would ever understand him like she did. He left her the bulk of his fortune and his house which she still lives in.
