Randy Rhoads blows me away. He literally has a sound like a runaway train flying off the rails which is a bit ironic. Those harmonics are like the breaks screeching trying to stay on the tracks. I've always loved Believer and Revelation Mother Earth.
omgf i was there !! AND 2nd row floor right in front of Randy Rhodes all night !! One of the greatest guitarist of all time. Supporting Ozzy on the Canadian Blizzard Of Ozz tour was a Canadian act called Queen City Kids.
What venue in London was this show at? Was it the old London Gardens or Centennial Hall? Rip Randy and thank you for the music and the Legacy of inspiration!
Wow, can you tell me what it was like? Like how long would it be before the crash when you saw him ? I’m a pure Randy junkie . I can only imagine what it must have been like to see him on that tour. Randy was so incredibly talented. I think about the gem we lost that day in March all the time, I just want to gather stories about him, so young, wow, to this day it’s still unbelievable.
I seen him live met him in London ont in fact shared a few drinks at the bus behind the show in London ont. Great guy and the world's best front line man. What he could do with that Gibson was unreal
This is awesome..... wow...Randy was a MONSTER guitarist. This live stuff is just at a whole other level...i got to see him in L.A. 12/31/81...sports arena.
Love these bootlegs.. apart from an offnight here or there where he wasn't at 100%, most of the time he was firing on all cylinders and consistent. What a live player. He's def "on" at this show. Rippin
@RhoadsVideos I’m dating myself here - but growing up pre-internet/internet infancy, stuff like this was extremely rare and hard to come by. I had limited exposure to Randy’s music/life because of limited access and availability; just the records and the odd guitar magazine article, really. It’s great hearing Randy’s subtle nuances and slight changes from song to song. Thanks 🙏
I had my "Diary" ticket in 82, but I guess it wasn't to be. Standing right in front of Brad Gillis where Randy was supposed to be didn't help. These bootlegs are the next best thing I suppose.
Same here only I saw the MSG show that was only about two weeks after Randy passed and they had Bernie Torme on gtr. Most heartbreaking show I've ever been to! To this day I still wish I never went. I was at the Speak of the devil show though with Brad Gillis and that was phenomenal but still would have been outta this world had Randy been there.
Just wish I could have seen him live,as well as Ozzy,in my eyes he was the best one out there, would have loved to have heard him a few more years he blew me away

Randy is the greatest human being to ever exist
Listen to the harms on the Sabbath cover songs

Thank you so much for getting this. I love listening to Randy.❤😊
No one but randy would’ve thought of that fill 👌🏻 @ 50:40
That is on the Montreal broadcast as well - or something like it. Sounds like an EVH thing to me.
Less Paul I loved the Gibson flying v he jammed on too
LES PAUL
Can this be brought into a studio and come out the other end a masterpiece?
It is huh..Ive never heardthis performance before perfect!
Indeed. Best tape I've ever heard, blows Tribute and King Biscuit away.
@@spoons440 back in the day the King Biscuit bootleg was GOLD! WAY before the Tribute
@@roderickgful Yeah, I love the KBFH tape. I like this more though.
It’s already a masterpiece, we all want a higher quality of audio
Okay metal students this this man was a master in his field..flawless!

These would be awesome if they were from a wav file & converted to flac
LETS GET WILD TONIGHT
DO YOU WANNA BE AS WILD AS MEEE!!!! - 1980s ozzy
The fill in suicide solution at 35:10 is usually from the solo but in the rhythm used here and placement earlier during verse sounds haunting !
he changed the song up nightly wait until the Diary tour..

I was right in 2nd - 3rd in front in front of Randy. Back in the General Admission days so we were all standing. Ran into a kid I knew. Josh Hawley?
Lol 50:59 going berserk as usual … it’s almost like he was saying “this song is retarded I just want to put it out of its misery.”
Truly awesome..
Thanks for the cool pics too!
Ha ha He perpetually plays the sweet spot..continuity continuum in the now
🙏❤️👌🎸🎼🎶🎵
Damn what a loss......never forget RR
I could listen to Eandy all day every day. He and his talent never gets old. Such an amazing musician. Wish he was still here with us.
all time A leaguer
Randy and Dio would have worked together eventually wouldn’t they ? Think of that.
No one is thinking of that, this was his band, Blizzard of ozz...maybe he would have stopped touring, and become more of a session guy and maybe...
RRR+
Great Randy “Iron Man” … Sarzo is on it too
Just wish I could have seen him live,as well as Ozzy,in my eyes he was the best one out there, would have loved to have heard him a few more years he blew me away
a lot of us wish we could have seen him live and still alive
Whaaaaat…I live in London!! Wow.
King Biscuit FH!

When was this audio released? Has this been found recently?
@Bryan Smith where is the source of these? Each one is like gold dust with such lack of live footage leaked
Hate that it isn’t live but at least it’s some live Randy Rhoads
I wish there was a lot more live video of Randy! It's a bummer how little there is to see of him.
this is not real
yes it is ....clearly his tone and playing
