the best thing about Dreams (particularly with VR) is that you can laugh and roll your eyes for 55 mins, then for the next 5 mins you experience something truly special. It's well worth it while it's half price but more as an experience rather than a game (and I'd imagine if you can grasp the creator mode, it's 1000s of hours of enjoyment for a small price!)

the avatar game will have an impact on sales as there are a lot of people already waiting for its release so they can buy the game. vr will defin have a big impact too and online multiplayer can have a big role too if people come out with original online games that peek interest. now, the thing that would make a huge, huge impact would be Dreams dropping on PC. this game would blow up overnight.

You know. While these games are weird or ridiculous. The really awesome thing about Dreams...was that Spider-man/Electrode gameplay. Because just like young Jason with NewGrounds, that little kid who has been playing video games for so long, has taken it upon himself to make something. To create. To indulge his passion. And then to take a huge leap and share it with the world. Sure, it's sloppy. But it's the first step in being better. Hopefully, he keeps taking more. Good on ya kid. We, the internet, are proud.

Dreams right now reminds me a lot of early RUclips, it's mostly kids and adults making random crap but give it a few years and we'll be seeing some really amazing shit. Maybe that Spiderman Kid will keep working on his level and make a full length Spiderman Level! Really exciting times.

truth be told sonic mania was a brilliant step in the right direction. They actually let a fan, someone who enjoys the games, design the levels and the new characters, check it out.
