    "Needless to say" the DSR + looks like a nice gun.

    Punishers guys, the DSR and M3 SLAP are clearly not compatible - this is obvious since the M3 ASA connects via a dovetail-style mount and the DSR hard mounts. Billy mentioned that a DSR-specific SLAP is in the works and will be released in the not too distant future. I recommend you guys watch the livestream he did on the Dye Facebook page.
    As for the new bolt assembly, they didn't just add the Flex bolt and Flex can and call it a day. If you visually compared the old and new parts, you'd see that the new can has a single set of inputs for the bolt (forward) and the bolt has a single sail seal, as opposed to two. This is because Dye moved the bolt acceleration control upstream to the solenoid, as opposed to having the can itself handle that duty - that's what the new SFR actually does. Since the DSR is a "fill to fire" system, the SFR controls the fill rate supplied to the can, as opposed to the IV Core, which is a "vent to fire" system. This is a great move, as it moves the "complexity" further upstream to a simple and reliable adjustment point, providing one less seal for the end user to worry about, and less dynamic friction.

      When did anybody say a slap asa was in the works? I've heard over and over that it isn't feasible with the dsr due to the reg being on top of the asa. I watch the billy wing tech videos too lol

      @@curtiswhite7880 The current slap asa for the M3 is clearly not compatible. It will require Dye to tweak the design for the DSR+. Plenty feasible.

      @MrBottlecapBill 3 года назад

      Correct. Personally I saw no need for one.......the original DSR was pretty smooth but some people do like a squishy feel so you have that option. Just remember that like the PE SFR, it will have an effect on your max ROF the smoother you set it. Probably not a big deal for most people running 10.3bps or whatever just keep that in mind before you crank it. :)

    The original dsr was the biggest disappointment at least the one I had the trigger screws wouldn't stay and the trigger would change adjustment constantly grips are a pain in the ass to take off. Would have liked to see them make the sfr on the dsr+ more easily accessible it's like they release a marker with only an idea and poor execution.

      @@Smokefools6691 all fixed actually. I hadn’t accounted for the fact that I bumped up the bolt tip o ring from a 012 to a 013 resulting in unexpected drag resulting in a slower bolt and the eyes reading the bolt during heavy streams of paint (something to do with oscillation/timing ratios,, anyways) on top of the fact the feather touch screw had backed out meaning the marker was operating like a closed bolt marker during heavy streams of paint. Eventually the hopper couldn’t keep up and the eye would read the bolt and it would chop. Easy fixes. the other eye issue was the board was set for a mode that negates rollback,, 🥶☝️‼️ get FUCKED
