This video shows how to strengthen the main weak points of the muscle up
1. Explosive pulling strength
2. The Transition
Once you drill these two main aspects of the muscle up you will be flying over the bar. Try the exercises in circuit fashion. 1 round beginner, 2 rounds intermediate, 3 rounds if you an Abnormal Being!!
0:18 Explosive pulls - 3-6 reps
0:46 Banded MU's - 1-5 reps
1:08 Jumping MU's - 1-5 repss
1:50 Transition SBD's - 1-5 reps
2:13 SBD'S - 1-5 reps
2:32 Transition Ring MU's - 1-5 reps
3:05 False Grip Rows - 1-5 reps

Bonus tip. Skip the dip part. Everybody can do the dip once u get over the bar. So dont waste energy on burning your triceps when what u need to learn is the transition and the explosive movement from the bottom.

Plus the elastic band is useless and not very helpful to train the mind process to reach the muscle up.
Try to NEGATIVE muscleups holding as much as possible instead.
I need to work on my pullups first before even starting to consider muscle ups. I need more reps...

I can legit do 7 pullups with a 10kg vest and still not a singel muscle up..
Also when do pull ups weightless i can reach my upper abs but still can't muscle up
@@PinnenLifts you have the strength but not the technique, just train the technique with bands. Helped me a lot!
I'm having a problem with tennis elbow. I tried different things but no lasting relief. Any ideas that really help? Thanks for the great video...
Rest bro. Train legs / mobility in the meantime. Try see a physio as well to double check and get some rehab exercises
