You'll love this! I saw ACDC do this song in 1976, Hara Arena, Dayton Ohio. They opened for Foreigner. My first concert at 16 years of age. I was very close to the stage when Angus climbed up on top of the massive speaker array to my right. Bon Scott began to play the bagpipes to the tune! to my left. I never heard anything like his before! It was incredible! (one of the few times he played the bagpipes in concert; according to WIKI, the last time was also in 1976 at a high school in St Albans Victoria). Suddenly, Angus Young jumped off of the speaker array, from about 15 feet high, and landed on his knees, while playing! I saw him grimace slightly, but something took over and he delivered the incredible guitar solo to the song and jumped back to his feet. Needless to say, my mouth was wide open in amazement. Right before my eyes!
School of Rock was a really special thing it will never be duplicated not in the way that Jack Black did it with the rest of the actors, players, band. This movie was even more special especially if you were in a band in high school. I was and this movie really just hit close to home in a good way on so many notes, pun intended. It's a real shame that they never got a sequel made I mean it was like a no-brainer. Jack Black is a goddamn treasure to this World! Rest in peace Kevin Clark!!!
As much as I would love a sequel, I think there only being one movie makes the movie itself more special. It leaves your mind open as to what the characters have done since.
@ToP Clips This movie was already "woke", you absolute dumbass. The little black girl who was made fun of for being overweight showing that she had actual musical talent. The awkward kid who was "the loser" until he showed that he was amazing at the guitar. And did you really forget the fruity kid who sewed everyone's clothes? They weren't even trying to be subtle about him being gay.
I just love the fact that they're all still so close, and they are damn fine musicians. I can't believe it's now the twentieth anniversary! I hope they do anther gig, but actually film it and release it properly as a special.
I feel like Jack Black wasn’t even acting in this movie. It looks like they just let the cameras go and it just happened. He will never be able to top this performance! Whenever I come across it on TV I can’t turn it off I just have to keep watching it till the end! 🙏🏻

If they do, I won't be the same as Kevin won't be there 💔
One of my favorites as well, hilarious and fun movie with great music.
@@danielleforder why not?
@@entertainmentjunkie he sadly passed away in May 2021
@@danielleforder nooooo! D: did he really??
Well damn, I've been sleepin on this reunion for five years. Jack Black is a beautiful person.
same here bud!!
👍👍
Same I had no idea omf
RIP Freddie xxx 😭😭
I feel bad for those who haven't neve watched this. Almost everyone who's seen it loves it ❤️❤️
In the end its the most powerful force you can touch, music. The fact this guy touched so many kids and they touched him back is just so moving.
"I have been touched by your kids... And I'm pretty sure I touched them!"
Chris Hanson would like a word.....
@@MrParkerman6 someone didnt get the reference

Not a good way to word that one 😂
I had a huge crush on the bassist

She hates men, you've got no chance.
Had?
Didnt we all?
I just want to underline the fact that everyone who is commenting right now they are the real fans because they never stopped watching the movie and remembering the feelings music gave us in our childhood, that's why after years we keep going on this video and finally unlocked the comment section xD
I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve watched this movie! 😂😍
Teu cu
My daughter used to make me watch this movie every weekend multiple times and seeing this reunion is so awesome. Rip Kevin 🙏
R.I.P Kevin aka Freddy
Gone but never forgotten
Legends never died
The King of Rock. He’s rocking out in heaven with the other Rock gods
This movie influenced my decision to play cello in junior high thinking it would translate to guitar and bass. And it did. Made a big impression on me. Loved this video ❤️
Lmaoooo that's awedone
Crazy how he’s a musician/actor and both of his parents are actual rocket scientists.
Just saw that she was going into labor with him and took the work project to the hospital finished it and called her boss and then gave the world Jack black
Apparently they were nudists too.
We're gonna party with Elon Musk in Space!
I was a teacher at a local School of Rock location several years ago. I was so glad I was able to teach kids about music during a time in their lives when they are starting to form the foundations that the rest of their lives will be based on. I hope all my students stuck with it. Long live the rock.
Was looking forward to a 20 year reunion, but RIP to the drummer who passed away today
Same
@J B I'm sorry your life is so pathetic that you think all that matters is likes on RUclips comments.
You guys are ruining my night right now, I didn't even know
@J B I wasn't angry, I felt bad for you. That being said, if you've got nothing better to do with your time than go through 2 week old comments on RUclips and respond to them multiple times, I feel worse about the state of your life now. Keep holding up likes as proof of one's worth, you'll do great.
you need to spend more time with your real life friends and go make new ones if you don't.
Jack should've given Miranda Cosgrove a solo moment so she could go "Memory, all alone in the moonlight!"
I forgot about that but that would have been funny
OH MY GOSH YES. That would be truly amazing 😂
Not going to lie I clicked on the video just for that I’m a little disappointed it didn’t happen
I think it’s hilarious that she had the most popular music career of all the kids but she didn’t get a solo in this
ahahahaha
Holy sh**. The drummer's solo was so good
YEAHH
Biggest upgrade from when he was a kid, he sure had practiced
@shadow inc yes! Glad someone else noticed
He’s been playing drums since he was 3, and also can play guitar.
dude is a legit drummer, you can tell by looking at him
You'll love this!
They all look like big kids...lol.
This kinda look like the people who stay after the party at like 3am still going
a little pitchy but OK
I don’t know if you’re calling me out or not but I’m taking it as a compliment
Wait do y'all go home at 3 in america?
The party is just getting started at 3am
Lol my kinda people.
Jack Black has so much love in his heart. It's undeniable.
Movies like that cannot be made again until we end wokeness completely. It's ruining entertainment with watered down trash
I hope they do anther gig, but actually film it and release it properly as a special.
im not crying, I'm not just watching this now after 6 years, no im not
Totally.
How am I just now seeing this !!!!!!
🥺
look at the bright side, we are only 4 years away from the next reunion.
You're so right bro
Neither of us are
Me either...
Jack looks so in his element. Just an over all performer man. Truly talented
What a mess, but a glorious mess.

Something about the “see you in another 10 years” that really got me in my feels
4:17 KEEP DRUMMING IN HEAVEN KEVIN CLARK 🙏 R.I.P
I feel like Jack Black wasn’t even acting in this movie. It looks like they just let the cameras go and it just happened. He will never be able to top this performance! Whenever I come across it on TV I can’t turn it off I just have to keep watching it till the end! 🙏🏻
Man this made me tear up . As I get older I fear I won’t be able to have many moments like this with friends and it’s a great joy to be able to connect emotionally to this beauty of a scene
I love to see the smiles on stage. Everyone is just having fun hanging out. Very talented but also very free and unorganized which I live because it feels more genuine.
Miriam's solo was phenomenal! What a voice
Kevin was an incredible drummer and Joey was an amazing guitarist, they never lost their talents
100 percent agree! And umm excuse Mr.Zack! WHATTTTT?!!! BLEW ME AWAY WITH THAT SOLO. I keep rewinding that part lmao. ITS TOO SHORT🤣🤣
As an English Teacher, I made my students love English by this movie... They each became a fluent English speakers. A real classic and whenever I watch the movie, I feel the life itself.
RIP Kevin Clark, such a talented actor and musician. So sad to hear of your passing, you'll be missed.
watching this for the first time, 8 years after it was posted, IT STILL ROCKS!!!
Why couldn't these guys actually form a legitimate band and tour. Lots of talent plus Jack Blacks popularity. They have all the ingredients
School of Rock 2? Jack's back? ;)
School of Rock 2 - Jack in Black
No
straight up, he's a college professor and they are all in the class lol
College of rock
i feel like they should leave it at that, this is one of the only movies that s for kids and adults. trying to remake this magic is going to be hard
RIP Kevin Clark (the drummer) his solo starts at 4:18
oh damn that was like recent
I'm a guitar player myself, but of all the solos of the movie, I gotta say that, here and in the movie, the drum solo was absolutely badass. Rip Kevin, you were an awesome drummer
I like how Jack let everyone have their moment. Also, the girls looks gorgeous now. They sure grew up well.
Jack Black is a man who plays a 'character' of immense ego and self-centred grandeur, but as a person, he's a diamond.
@@Blisterdude123 In the movie he also lets everyone shine.
I couldnt stop smiling this entire video. one of the best things I've ever seen
Wait until you see jb's master explorer LIVE
I love how Jack Black is pointing a microphone at those three girls who all have one mic each
and he does it several times
Ya and In the movie 🎥 I think 🤔 they had one mic 🎙 and shared it
@@terrysilver3522 Just because there's an emoji for something doesn't mean you need to use it.
They just pop up so I just want to use it
It's because of the sound mixing. The back up singer microphones aren't as loud
I love Jack Black so much, with this movie, he makes a big Footprint in music-movies. Hes one of a kind actor and musician. A sequel? Yes, please, with all of them. i would cheer it so damn hard...
And here we are..17 freaking years later..
feeling old now 🥺
FINALLY, THEY GAVE THE BASSIST A SOLO!!! WOO!!!
the fact that the piano man isnt having fun and wearing a cape upsets me lol
He was the only one who looks like in the movie actually 😂
@@alvarovids1915 also the only one whose solo was better in the movie
School of Rock is the dude's only acting credit (on IMDB).
There's probably a reason.
He's a classical musician. Maybe Rock & Roll just isn't his jam.
@@carlwilliams9642 that doesnt matter one bit when youre getting paid to play a roll lolol... classical musician or not. youre getting paid for a job
