I always wonder if you guys just like using machetes or if you use them as like a signature, because I never see anyone else using them. All others use various power tools instead. Great work. I will be checking out the pressure washing.

When you’re in a true clinical depression, lack of energy and feeling overwhelmed are two of the main symptoms. He might not be able to do those things you’re suggesting. I hope he’s seeing someone for this. He can get better and enjoy the simple things again.

Excellent job! An avid gardener who has won prizes, I know all too well the effort required to "maintain" a garden. These gardeners bestowed the gift of time and effort upon this man, and I applaud them.
Once a yard gets in this condition it becomes overwhelming especially if you are battling depression! You guys did an excellent job and helping the owner feel at peace knowing his parents approve. Nice that he gave y’all drinks. Hopefully he gets the mower fixed so he can maintain!

Depression is debilitating and helping out someone who is suffering is one of the kindest things you can do.
I've been there and help is always greatly appreciated.
First of all, let me say that I have been watching your videos since you started. To the father....you did such a great job....your wife also...raising your sons to have such great work ethic. You and they all do such great work, work hard and and are so considerate of others in your community. Thank you. I only wish I was living in your area so I could thank you in person. When I saw the man bring you some Gatorade, I was very happy. I always hope that the people you help always show gratitude to you by giving you water or whatever, to drink! I'd buy you lunch too! God bless you and your dad for what you do! PS, I like how your dad keeps his head on a "swivel" when it comes to dogs running loose in the neighborhood! 😅
I would have asked the homeowner to speak to the neighbor across the street who was letting the big dog run loose. They need to know that they can be sued if the dog bites someone. It is against the law to have your dig run loose especially without a collar and proof of their shots.
we're not sure who's dog it is but yes it is very dangerous to have him out without a leash
haha, a German Shepard bit him one time unexpectedly and since then he has been scared of stray dogs

You really did cut that down to size! Depression is no joke, and when things add up, it just goes deeper and you lose all energy to 'fix' things. Thank you for helping him out. I'm sure it was the 'shot ' of goodwill that helped as much as the extra labor.

You're correct Victoria depression is a silent killer. I have major depression, feel like no one really cares about me.I have siblings but seldomly hear from them. After my mom passed from various health problems on Christmas eve in 2020,a terrible relationship/marriage i was in,wasn't only being used by her. I've lost all hope for anything. I miss my best friend/my Mom.

Also, I have to say I can relate to the homeowner regarding his parents passing and him being depressed. Both of mine are gone now. My Mom passed just over a year ago and I have not been the same since. It’s tough. I even thought I was prepared as she had been sick for a long time. Hug your family. Tell them you love them. Keep in touch with them. Once they are gone, they are gone❤
I agree completely. I'm so sorry for your loss. I too have lost both my parents in their early 60's. It was very traumatic personally.
Do hug your parents, grandparents, siblings and other loved ones. You never want to regret that one last hug.

Night and day! Who knew there was such a large, beautiful yard, especially on the front? I'm disappointed that the owner didn't help with things like trash up, but perhaps he did - just off camera. I love the way you and your dad work together if you watch closely you both work together like you’re one man both of you see what needs to be done and get it done. It’s like you both see two or three steps ahead and it doesn’t matter who is doing what you just get it done. I used to work with a guy like that and it seems to go much faster and easier when you know what the other guy is going to do next. Also it looks like your dad raised a couple of good kids who respect their father that is why when I get a chance I’m going to start telling people about your channel. It's very cool that you helped this man out. I've been treated for depression for the last 20 years. Hopefully this man will start to tend to his yard regularly. I have found it really helps me to work on it pretty much daily even just a little so I'm sure it would help him as well.
You two work so well together tackling big jobs. This place had been long neglected, I understand depression, I’m medicated, but it can be debilitating, often suffers can’t get out of bed. Sometimes seeing other people working hard plus improving your surroundings is all the motivation a person needs to snap them out of depression and give them the push they need to uplift themselves. You gave this man a real gift. I hope it helped him get going in life and not wallow in the dark, sad places.
