At 6.55 it does not work for me, I am sure I followed everything. I have tried this 2 times from the start. What do I do? drag the BP_KeneticProp into the scene and give it a static mesh? Does not work. Or create an actor, give it a static mesh and then apply M_Outline? No, not working. If anyone can help me with this, I am very much appreciate.

Hi Lucid ! I don't know if you'll respond, but if you or anyone have time to help, it would be really appreciated! . I tried to follow it exactly in ue5 and I don't see a mistake I made. However, the highlighted objects are always on from the start. I have to hover over them to have them turn off(then the rest will work). Would you have any idea what I might have done wrong? or could it be some functionality is different in ue5? Thanks
I found a temp work around by Turning of the Highlight in the construction script so it's off when it's spawned. but I doubt this is the best way to do it?
@@laiksik If you still need help with this - Add a branch before Set Render Custom Depth on Event Highlight in the Telekinetic Prop BP. Plug True into Set Render Custom Depth and make the condition State == Default. You'll need to uncheck Render CustomDepth Pass in the details of the prop's Static Mesh as well :)
The easy fix for this is to not hit the checkbox for Render Custom Depth pass in the details panel of the blueprint. in other words skip the check box at 6:09 in the video.
May I ask what engine version have you use to make this? Because I tried to download the zipped up project with 4.24 but it says that it was created with a newer version. Thanks :)
