The E-Win Flash XL Gaming Chair is heavy duty and can hold up to 550 lbs. This chair is no joke, and in this review I'll be sharing some of the pros and cons that I've experienced with the chair so far, working full time from home, gaming, and video editing.

Great review dude! Being a "slightly heavier" fellow myself, I appreciate a chair review with higher weight capacity.

Great review! I hav a Maxnomic as well as a SecretLab Titan and both have been great. This one seems to have all the features and quality that those have, so will save this brand too.

I have purchased 2 from Ewin. The 1st chair I purchased was the Flash XL in 2018 and the 2nd chair was the Champion Series cloth chair in 2022. Both chairs broke in the same exact same place. The frame of the seat on right side snapped. Not a weld, but the actual frame. When the first chair broke it took over 2 months of back and forth emails to get Ewin to honor their warranty and send me a replacement seat. That seat didnt break again but after 2 more years the PU leather was falling apart. Now that the 2nd chair has broken in the exact same fashion the Ewin customer service said that they are not honoring the warranty because "we've confirmed and told you the frame is broken, just during normal use, if there is a quality problem with the chair itself, both 2 sides of the seat base should be bent. But according to the photos, only the right side seat base is bent, as you see, there is an recliner on the right side, in daily use, people may be in the process of adjusting the angle of the back of the chair, more or less there is too much force, resulting in the right side of the frame by the pressure of external forces, resulting in the break." Take from that what you will. Keep in mind that the Champion Series chair is rated to support up to 400lbs and the Flash XL is rated at 550 lbs. I weigh 250lbs.

I have the same issue, right side of the frame is snapped and they wont uphold their warranty. Im filing in small claims court for less than they are trying to charge me to SHIP the piece they refuse to replace. This company is a joke

Thirded. My Flash XL had 2 pistons fail, then the mechNism died, and then they denied the warranty. These chairs are garbage.

I made the mistake of buying a Vertagear PL-6000 which is rated 360lbs (I am 5'9" and 350) and it keeps on breaking ALL THE TIME. I'm at about 50% downtime on the chair waiting for parts, I'm at my 4th (different) broken part.
My question is, have ANY OF US found ANY durable gaming chair for plus size gamers? I mean, I think the Secret Lab oversized one is supposedly good, but it's for giants, not short 5'9" blobs like me...

My Vertagear PL-6000 has broken 4 times already and it still on warranty. Please let me know if you find a durable chair!

I'm not exactly gravitationally afflicted, being 235 lbs. however, I am too tall for most chairs at 6'6. Your review was great, and you paid the cat tax. Unfortunately, I ordered the chair right before I watched this. I am hoping that the discrepancy between my weight and the maximum will make this last longer.

Can arm rests be removed? Or, can the chair be assembled without the arm rests?

You don't look like you're anywhere near 550 lbs. Unless you're taller than you look, like 9 feet. Are you sure you're not 9 feet?
I know the struggles of getting chairs that can handle the weight. Cold cure foam is the best stuff so it doesn't go flat right away and you can keep the shape and cushioning over time. Lumbar support that is stuck there seems great. Mine is loose, and I have to keep placing it there every time I sit, and it's frustrating, and without it, my back hurts soon after I sit.
I wonder if they have chairs that have adjustable seat (back and forth).
I wonder if these guys ship to Norway, I might check them out.
    Good video as usual!

Bought this chair, had it for 15 months and the right side of the frame is snapped in half, 3 of the stabilizers on the frame are snapped, some at the welds and some dead in the center of the "steel." Company refuses to uphold their warranty and trying to charge me 250 dollars to have a seat shipped to me. Saving my money by filing in small claims.

Is this something that can be assembled and disassembled repeatedly if you are packing up moving often? And wont fall apart like ikea furniture?

    • @Portly
      @Portly  Год назад +1

I believe so. I haven’t taken mine apart since putting it together but it feels heavy duty and sturdy to me. As long as you are careful not to strip any bolts or threads you should be fine
