The wings you see on common racing chairs are called side bolsters. In actual racing bucket seats, they're meant for saftey and to keep you in the same place 100% of the time, not meant for comfort. As a car guy, it still kinda confuses me on why cheap companies do this since no bucket seat in the world are ever comfortable, but hey it looks good. I'm for sure going to buy this chair when i have more space to have a desk and chair...
