Great review. I love this stand for my Macbook Pro. I use this with my magic keyboard and it gives me a desktop experience.

I don't use an external keyboard as like in your video but what I did do is go to Home Depot and got 4 low profile rubber felt feet. Kinda like something you would put under furniture or chair legs.
Affixed them at the corners of the plate so when I put my laptop 17" laptop on, those 2 tabs don't affect typing whatsoever. (better cooling too)
I don't have my stand lifting as high as you do. Use it only to elevate approx 10-15 degrees.

I couldn't be sure while trying to open it.. but your video helped Mr. :) Thanks ! Really it looked like risky but really solid strong material makes it safer. The Best stand in my opinion without any shaky moments while typing on it.
But be careful because of no support on the back... when we want to directly on laptop without external keyboard.... laptop s getting shakes.... and this is not good for concentration.. thinking to refund

Good review however, of the dozens I have watched and read on Amazon, no one shows if it will wobble when you use the computer keyboard with the stand. I realize this stand is build for use with an external keyboard however, I don't always use mine. I like the keyboard on my MacBook Air and my 2011 MacBook pro. The last (expensive) round stand I bought was well made but it wobbles when you type so I got rid of it. I will no longer use a stand that has only one center support because they go off balance and wobble when you try to type with your computer on the stand and it will drive you to seek out a therapist or a bottle of Scotch! Also, I rarely use my older MacBook Pro because I now use my new MacBook Air and no one shows if those tabs will jab into your wrists when you type using your computer keyboard. MacBook Air is thinner than the pro so the Air sinks down and the tabs stick up. I will say your review was one of the best ones I've watched for the quality of the product. Thanks Dave

The bit that touches the front of the laptop looks without any type of rubber protection... Do you reckon it will scratch the laptop? I have a space grey MacBook and I'm quite afraid of scratches.
Nope, it all has a protective surface and I was not worried about my laptop on the stand.

Hi, you think this could hold a slim portable monitor that I use with Huawei EMUI Desktop (like Samsung DeX)?
Nice review, are you able to share measurement between the legs in mm? I’m thinking whether I can fit my Mac mini between them.

It looks like a solid material. Is this heavy? It's safe for the kids who use laptops for online school?
It's not particularly heavy - Aluminum is a light metal - and I'd say it's safe for kids as long as they don't get inspired to use it as a weapon after 12 hours of gaming :-)
How is it holding up after a year? I find these products always have some kind of Achilles’ heel that breaks and renders it useless.
I don't use laptop stands in the long term, to be honest. This worked great when I was testing it, however.
