i have similat from another compny. also very sturdy. using for 13 inch m4 pro ipad. rotate is ratchety but stays in place. only has antislip on vertical sides, not the bottom.

Does the laptop stand stays in place when you rotate it. I mean does it has some kind of lock when you reach the point that you want?
No…but it is notchy like a watch bezel. Not too tight…decent.
