- Is the Surron Ultra Bee the ultimate beginner-friendly electric dirt bike? In this video, I take my first ride on the Surron Ultra Bee to see if it lives up to the hype. I’ll cover how this mid-sized electric dirt bike compares to full-sized gas-powered bikes, other e-bikes, and its performance on tight single track. With its low-maintenance design, lightweight build, and versatility across various terrains, could this be the perfect bike for new riders? Watch to find out my first impressions of Surron’s 125cc-class electric dirt bike!

IMO the UB shines with a 21/18 wheelset. The bike is a woods weapon. Nimble, light, and good power.
It may not beat a gas bike in some regards, but it's extremely fun to ride.
Definitely agree! I’m itching to ride this one again honestly
Awesome video man. I really want one of these I think they would be super fun to rip thru the trails. You got me to get a 250f maybe I’ll get one of these next lol
I had a blast on the ultra bee. Can’t wait for the next time I get to ride it
Definitely wanna try it out on an Mx track at some point and see how it does
Good review. I'm mixed on electric bikes. Kind of cool but I still like the exhaust note and being able to gas and go.
Yeah it’s definitely super wacky not hearing the engine but I got used to it pretty quick. They’re so cool tho I’m excited to see where technology takes them
I would definitely have to try it before i would buy. I've only raced and ride gas bikes
@@Allthingsfun1221 yeah it’s definitely a big difference but quite fun
Been tossing around whether I want to get one as a single track ripper or wait another year or two. Once you add in the 18/21 rims and tires, new suspension, and a new battery, it's over $12K. The Electric Motion Escape looks bangin too, but the dealers are limited.
The significant lack of maintenance is the main draw for me.
A local place has a freeride to rent, may try out that first.
The free ride would be super cool to try out! Honestly the stock battery on the ultra bee can get you a long way so I’d prob just go for the tires to start. Even the suspension is adequate but down the line it’s something you’d wanna upgrade for sure
Starks have come down to 11k OTD now. I follow a ton of e-bike channels and went fully down the rabbit hole on them. Still have not totally felt like pulling the trigger on one yet. They come out with a new e bike e dirtbike so often now it’s crazy. Anyways, would you trade the Crf250f for an ultra bee??
That’s great to hear about the starks. I’d love to try one of those out!
And yeah I’m super excited to see where ebike technology progresses. It’s moving so fast already which is awesome.
As far as trading the crf for the ultra bee… I’d say at this point, no. Although I think they are pretty interchangeable in the way of being able to tackle similar terrain (the ultra bee, being able to tackle a bit more tbh plus being wayyy lighter) I just think the crf fits more closely what I bought it for and I’ve been having a ton of fun on it so I’m content.
If I had the extra money however I would totally get an ultra bee
Love my ultra bee, buying a set of supermotos soon 😊
Basically at that price you cannot mod the ultra bee to get the range and suspension the varg has turn key. Only plus that the ultra bee has is the size and weight depending on what you are doing with the bike. Kind of looking forward to seeing what dust is going to come out with to spice up the competition
I heard parts availability is horrible. Any truth to this?.
I’m unsure but I’ll ask around and get back to you
I ride an Ultra Bee in the woods and enduro. So far, the only thing I've needed to replace was the rear rotor (bent during enduro). Local dealer had parts in stock, plus a crf rotor fits. Pads are readily available as well. I'm not worried about parts.
Aftermarket is pretty good as well. You can pretty much go as wild as you want.
@@rwolfcastle i need a replace too, is it same as crf250?
Hmmmm yeah you give me sur ronster vibes
Hell yeah
