Tour of the Marella Explorer 2

- This is a walk around the TUI Marella Explorer 2 Cruise ship. It is TUIs only adults only ship. I have done a top bottom tour of all the main areas including places to eat and drink, entertainment areas, shops and a cabin.
We cruised around the Med in 2019 and I filmed this video to show you what to expect on the Explorer 2. We were really pleased with our stay on the boat and the overall quality of the cruise.
I will show you around our cabin which was an lower deck outside cabin without a balcony. I will also show all of the many places you can eat. There is lots to see and do such as shops, visiting the spa, crazy golf and more. Lets not forget the many bars and additional entertainment provided there.
Hope this video is useful to you and will give you a good flavour of the Marella Explorer 2.

The 4 of us were on ME2 about 5 months ago for 2 weeks to celebrate our close friends 'Golden' Wedding anniversary - we visited Naples, Santorini, Venice, Barcelona, Pompei to name a few...1st time on board this ship and loved it...adult only which was great. A clean ship, the Captain was great, very personable and normal, it has hard working staff, the food was very very good and lots of it, especially The Dining Club if you want high end quality (extra price). The 4 of us booked booked last week to go to the Caribbean in April 2021, on the same ship. Yes, we've been on bigger and better ships, RCI, P&O, NCL, Celebrity etc but I think medium size ships will always divide opinion, but all in all, we had such a great time, we cannot fault it.

Great video- perfect length! Was on the Ex2 a couple of weeks ago, and this brought it all back. Agree that the shaded area at the rear of the buffet was a very comfortable area to sit, especially on the day at sea where space was limited by the pool side.

Excellent video and very informative. I’m just looking to book my first ever cruise for me, my wife and 20 year old daughter for July 23. I’m not a big fan of Tui (long story lol) but this looks by far the best value I can find. I think I’ll be booking this ship for their Adriatic cruise…thank you 👍
We are booked to do America on the Discovery next year. So look out for a similar video for that. I will have 4 years of additional RUclips experience by then so the quality will be much better.

We had a two week cruise on the Marella Explorer 2 in October 2019, or first cruise and our last...we upgraded to a junior suite and drinks package, thankfully we had booked to go on tours every day we where in port otherwise it would have been even worse if you like cheap holiday camps, then you will like this, the food was okay and the main staff were really nice and work hard the entertainment was fucking awful...45min sets with average singers, most of the bars where just like airport waiting areas without any music so no atmosphere...it was a truly awful experience for us and at dinner we meet lots of other people who cruise and they said it was one of the worst ships they had sailed on...
I feel bad because I feel that these ships are pretty much bare bones as far as decor and amenities are concerned. And there are some who are perfectly happy with it. I couldn't travel on a ship this plain.
