I'm currently rereading one of my childhood favs. It's a German book so I don't think it's available in english anywhere but it's just the perfect book for fall to me. Reading it while being wrapped in a blanket and drinking my favourite tea is just the best. It isn't as good as I remembered but I still enjoy reading it a lot.
I'm rereading the Egyptian. I loves it as a kid and a few months ago found a used copy a collector was selling off. I finally got to it on the list and it's better than I remembered.

idk if you've read it but i highly recommend "Cemetery boys" its about a trans gay Hispanic kid dealing with loss and gender and sexualities' confusion, as well as spiritualty, its really good.

Ive been meaning to read stone butch blues but a lot of people told me the book includes r*pe and that the protagonist is a r*pist, since its one of my triggers, its holding me back from reading the book. But im seeing that you didnt mention a trigger warning while you usually do so im wondering if people just lied to me. So here's my question, does the book actually includes r*pe?
There is a lot of rape (and all kinds of other violence) in the book, but I don’t remember the protagonist raping anyone? Unless you count “having sex without telling the person whether or not you have a penis” but that’s... not rape

You should do a trans book review on Stone Butch Blues I'm not sure if it technically counts, but I think the protagonist would identify as non binary if they were real/alive today. Jess said multiple times that they don't feel fully like a man or woman and they have some gender dysphoria. (I'm using they because they used both he and she in the book and I'm not sure what they would prefer)
