Holy shit now THAT is an ancient classic. I can't believe there are people out there still knowing this game! But yes, I plan to indulge in the ridicolousness of the premise a bit and have lots of quirky characters.
I don't know exactly how set you are on the mechanics of it yet but if you want to minimize player inputs maybe an auto-battler style of gameplay would fit your design philosophy. Regardless of that, good luck with the game.
My style isn't good enough that I would consider it educational for people wanting to learn coding. But I did work with some indie projects in the past, so I got at least some experience in game dev. That being said, yes, this is going to be a longer running series on my channel.
Don't sell yourself short. Remember Rimworld? It was built by a guy with limited coding experience who just wanted to show the world what good automatic storytelling can look like. You can do it.
I like the idea of using AI to generate art for games, however this topic seems controversial. What do you think about it? And, nice game pitch! Wish you a good luck!
Well it's certainly not controversial for me because I worked for a couple of game projects in the past and had a very mixed experience concerning the reliability of artists. And since I'm good at coding and animating, using AI art to replace my below average drawing skills feels like a natural evolution. I think there is nothing wrong with using AI art if you're an indie dev. But you definitely need to go the extra mile to fix all the usual AI issues for people to accept it.
Well artists don't work for free. So until I can make money from this (which I doubt considering what it is) AI art it will be. And honestly, since I'm experienced with that and have the skills to fix it, why not?
@@jisungie7953 Honestly, I don't really care about success. I just create all my stuff for fun. And also because its content and exposure for my channel. But sure, I'm not ruling it out. But for now, having a dedicated artist isn't an option for me anyway.
There is also the fact that you could hire an artist only to find out they have used AI art themselves or worse yet stolen another artists work and claimed it as their own
@avp2501 there is many ways to know an artist draws there own stuff, it's not hard. AI art is stealing jobs from actual artists, it's not fair nor is it okay.

19:22 Assuming each goal takes 12 episodes, we just have 72 more episodes to go before we should have a minimum viable product! Yay!
4:30 I see, so will any story come between these “sessions”?
Game sound intersting and I'm already looking forward to playing
The setting reminds me a little of 1995s Biing! by reLINE. ;) Are you planning on a ton of kinky humor, too?

;) It was one of the last titles I had for my Amiga.
Bin gespannt ;)
Also, the scope seems already rather large. Be careful not to fall into the trap of all beginner(?) game dev and bite off more than you can chew ;)
40 sec in. I love this already 😂🎉. Im also making a small cultured game in godot.

@@LewdGarlic-mh8hj Agreed with you 100%: AI's fine as long as you don't just stop to the basic txt2img process.
I don’t like the use of AI art, I mean since you’re just starting Ig It’s okay. But you might want to hire an actual artist in the future

warum nicht einfach gleich auf Deutsch? Für die Reichweite?
Mein content ist ohnehin schon sehr Niche. Und 90% meiner Zuschauer sind aus den USA. Die würde ich damit nicht mehr erreichen.
