Thanks for the video tour on an airline I have never even heard of before. I think you 7/10 is a bit high unless you gave them 3 bonus points for being able to sit alone? Love the tour of the airport terminal and food court. As always, we all appreciate you taking the time to film, edit, add subtitles, and upload it for us.
👋Hi there, may I say, this video is awesome & really interesting. I love your filming style from start to finish, as I love seeing that entire travel experience, all the way from check in, to the flight, take off & landing, etc;. This video is great viewing & the country & outdoor scenery, the cold & snow abound, truly "add" to the entire viewing/flight experience. The really good music throughout, also adds to the enjoyment of this video. Very nice. Also, I just love the red planes & seeing Air Greenland approaching slowly @ the airport & seeing the white snow all around it. That lovely red with the white background is just beautiful! Although I've never set foot in Greenland, I do love the general scenery & even all the snow abound. So wonderful to see. I certainly wouldn't mind going there someday. My family & I are flying to NW, then onto N Europe soon, so we're really excited & are counting down the days now. I've never experienced seeing much snow, so I know I'm in for a real treat. Now I just have to check out your many other awesome looking videos. Thank you for creating & sharing your wonderful videos with we viewers. Peace✌
I am glad to see you are still producing trip report vids and I like yours because of the musical ambience. Regarding the food, I guess at least it wasn't a bag of rocks; or is that stale pretzels? :-) Not a place everyone travels to but I like the red planes. Looking forward to your next vid. Best!
I agree with you about going there but if there is and/or was a purpose for environmental research and other shared semi-governmental work then I understand. And then some people do live in cold climates in our world. They just do but I do not continue to live in cold climate all the time. Sorry No!!!
Yup I would Love to see Air Greenland A330-200 or there A330-900Neo Aircraft if I where too Visit Greenland hopefully in the upcoming future Awesome Video Man Trip Report is Kool!!!!
Hey, hey, hey there! Let me just say, that there's absolutely nothing wrong with finding great adventure & thrills down South too! For eg: Southern Europe & the Southern Hemisphere are amazing & very beautiful global regions, so too, are it's wonderful peoples. The entire world, wherever we choose to go, will happily enlighten, surprise & fulfill something within us & the entire world always has something special & unique to offer to it's visitors.
Thank you for sharing you flight from Greenland. Wow!! It was cold there even in May. But thank you for sharing that population count that was there. it is good there are smaller turbo prop aircraft serving the other small towns that connect to that main city/town with the jet service coming in and out. You made me laugh when you gave a photo of the souvenir portable airplane pillow in red color! It was cute inflated on your table. But the biggest advantage I noticed about your flight is that you had that seat next to you empty!! Nice!! To get the extra space to stretch your legs on a long flight is so important!! Again, nice!!! Weel, again, thanks for sharing your nice flights accompanied with good music.
Nice video, I wondered why they did not have a covered staircase getting on the plane. I have seen other airports that do when the stairs are used. It is much safer and keeps the rain and snow off you as you get on the jet. Hopefully at the new airport in Nuuk they will.
I noticed something interesting while watching the video. People were applauding when the plane landed. The last 3 times I traveled to Puerto Rico, people applauded when the plane landed. They did it again when I flew back to NYC. Interesting that the Danish & Puerto Ricans do the same thing. 😄👏🇩🇰🇵🇷
Excellent video! Could you start giving local Departure 🛫 and Arrival times. I'm guestimating you arrived in CPH around 10:00 to 11:00pm assuming CPH is 4 hours ahead of local Greenland time(EST + 2?) I'm basing this on the fact that the Inflight Meal appears to be Lunch or Dinner!
Greenland is a country with partially independence, it looks like there are dutyfree shop between Denmark and Copenhagen. So if I ever go to Greenland from Copenhagen do I go on the international flights department, or domestic department? And is there border control between Denmark and Greenland, since Greenland is outside Schengen and EU? I am going to Greenland this year. But its from Haugesund (Norway) to Oslo - Keflavik (Iceland) - Nuuk (But its with a small Dash 8 airplane, so I am not going to land at Kangerlussuaq) . I am looking forward to go to Greenland :-D
In 2008 they attempted weekly flights to Baltimore but (not surprisingly) it failed. The airline has a pipe-dream to operate similarly to Icelandair and shuttle people from North America to Europe via Nuuk and Ilulissat once their new airports are completed.
Looks like those replacement aircraft can't come fast enough! I know over here in Canada Air North has the same problem. Great service, great food but the jets? Well used to say the least! A220's would be perfect for Air Greenland and even Icelandair since they are about connecting mid-Atlantic island nations with Europe and America...
Previously there used to be stainless steel cotlery, but the passengers would "take" them, along with class with the logo of Grønlands fly. That was the name before.
Wow I didn’t know that. I know many people who collect airline’s silverware/dishwater as trophy souvenirs especially from unique airlines so I’m not surprised
Watching this video gave me the chills - such a desolate place. The tail design of this carrier reminded me a bit of Brussels Airlines, no? When you mentioned Sabena, it clicked: that's why it looks similar?🙂
Greetings from British Columbia 🇨🇦 Nice photography !! Trip suggestion Air North new service from Toronto Pearson to Whitehorse via Yellowknife. Air North is Yukon's own home airline. Air North very busy at this time of year from YVR with 3 daily nonstops. Whitehorse is booming right now and is Canada's largest city in the Arctic Region with about 32000 people or so. Check it out. Bye from the wet coast 🤣
Check your facts… Air Greenland is not the only airline using Kangerlussuaq. But they are dominant. And Norsaq is not only flying to Kangerlussuaq. It is also used from Copenhagen to Pitufik!
@@liflyer0413 I have resently seen planes from both Iceland Connect and Alsie Express there. Så it is not only Air Greenland. And since when is Wikipedia the only truth?
I find it so mesmerizing to see Greenland, everything is so small and so cute, I just love it 🇬🇱🇬🇱
Nice review, Quinton 👌. Glad to see you uploading videos again. Hope we'll see more this summer. Have a good summer.
I appreciate that thanks! I'm really trying to get some more out soon
you've been to Greenland.... you're living my biggest dreamm
Thanks QFS !!
One of the best trip reports of the Air Greenland A330, greetings from Colombia!
Indeed.
....I need that souvenir. :D What an interesting looking place.

Beautiful scenery!! Pleasant smooth flight. Sorry the meal was disappointing
Nice review Quintin.😀💙
Great video. Thanks for sharing this 👍
What a dream journey, Greenland is definitely on our bucket list.
Awesome content, keep it up!
Very nice. Nice A330-200. Very very nice. Please keep keep coming out with more vlogs!!
The A330 in this red livery is really stunning..!!!!
Love it! Thanks for sharing! And as always, the best music to go along! 🕺

Great job Q! Big congrats for the 60k, bet you will reach much more followers soon
For me, looks like this Airbus A330-200 (PW only) is comparing to the Boeing 767-200ER. Cool red airplane!
Nice video. Did you stay overnight in Greenland, or just a turnaround flight?
Thank you! I spent a night in Nuuk and a night in Ilulissat
another fantastic report! all love from Qatar ❤❤
Got to say this, economy seats looks very old school and thick. But credit to them for introducing mood lighting and updating the IFEs.
They ordered a brand new 330 neo. Seats should be good on the new bird.
The only issue with their A330neo is they crammed a bunch more seats inside, so I imagine it’ll be uncomfortable
Videos are still pure
I live in greenland and I am going to fly with this plane next month
Keep your eye out because you might be on their brand new A330neo!
Amazing
Soon they will have the A330-800 Neo :)
I wanna be in norsaq again last time I've been in was decade ago I live in Ilulissat for 14 years I know many people well

@@QFSAviation Great. We’ll see. If you see grad student named Abby, say “hello.”
Flying there in July :)
Nice
With such a limited population why did you visit Kangerlussuaq?
I’m surprised that Air Greenland doesn’t have a route to America. Like to New York, Boston or even Washington DC.
In 2008 they attempted weekly flights to Baltimore but (not surprisingly) it failed. The airline has a pipe-dream to operate similarly to Icelandair and shuttle people from North America to Europe via Nuuk and Ilulissat once their new airports are completed.

Yea I won’t think it’s a bad idea for air Greenland to add a few more A330s or A321neo, A220 for flights to European/American cities
Previously there used to be stainless steel cotlery, but the passengers would "take" them, along with class with the logo of Grønlands fly. That was the name before.

Greenland was fully open to vaccinated travelers in May, I’m not sure if that’s changed yet but hopefully!

Greenlandic tradition, landing safely CLAP!
