- WestJet's new Premium Economy product is a first-class-like experience but without the hefty price tag! The airline started installing these seats on its 737 fleet back in 2019, replacing the previous Euro-style Premium that had 3 Economy seats with the middle seat blocked off.
Based in Calgary, Alberta, WestJet is Canada's second-largest airline, operating around 800 flights and 70,000 passengers daily. Although the airline serves every province in Canada, its presence in the East is limited, especially in the Maritimes.
I had a wonderful experience flying home after spending the weekend in Winnipeg. I booked this flight only 23 hours before, and the two flights between Winnipeg-Toronto and Toronto-Fort Lauderdale cost only $ 701 total. The lunch meal was delicious and high-quality, and the crew members were friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend WestJet over Air Canada if the routes and pricing work for you, as the passenger experience is just better.

back in days i took a flight in 2012, all tvs screen and leather seats, feeling was like a private jet, very pleasant specially a long route like YVR to YUL

Weird…YWG is my hometown and it’s interesting to see how much has changed since I was last there. Now call YYC home as it’s not as cold. For work I flew YYC-YFI weekly so the inflight experience was exactly what I expected to see.

Great video! WestJet has a great product for a LLC. There has been consolidation with Swoop and soon Sunwing seeing their jets be integrated into WJ. Flair seems to be in some financial trouble and I personally see them merging or collapsing in the next two years.
Hey buddy, the pilot must have been really moving the whole flight because the buzzsaw tune from the engines didn't reduce a little like they usually do. Awesome vlog very very nice. Please keep coming out with more vlogs!!

Yes that was the Winnipeg Jets loading up to fly to Montreal to start a road trip last season. It was cool seeing the players park their trucks and cars right on the ramp

Brrrrr. Subaru weather! I hate the idea of checking one of my basses, but the short section at 4:00 leads me to think that WestJet cares almost as much for my low end babies as I do. I experience horrible separation anxiety when I have to gate check one. Excellent meal for Premium passengers. After watching this, I'd fly WestJet for sure. However, I don't think they serve the domestic market in France where I live. 🙂

Flying isn’t what it used to be. The host is in sweats, and the guy ahead of him in the jet bridge is wearing what looks like gym shorts and flip flops. 🤷🏻♂️
