- So when I was in India, I used to buy a lot of stuff from Amazon since I knew there isn't any hassle of returning in case I don't like it; however, in Canada, you have to deal with that hassle!
You can continue to splurge on Amazon if the 'Canadian Post' is nearby and if not, then store visits are the best!

Hi, if I don’t have the printer at home, may I ask Canada post to print it for me?
Good thing my item was defective otherwise even being an Amazon Prime member they were going to charge me $50 to send back large parcel. Being defective it was free return shipping.

When you bring the item to Canada Post, for example, do you need to pay for them to return your item to Amazon or is it free?
If 'Return eligible' was mentioned under the product then you won't be charged. In my case it was free and I believe mostly it's free; however, do check under the item if something else is mentioned.

This is what I do but what if you don't have a printer and you don't live near anyone with one? I know in the U.S.A. you can get a QR code for returns that they just scan but I can't seem to find that option in Canada.

Hey where did you get the separate bar code from? I only have the 1 return label and don’t know where to get the separate bar code?
Sometimes you get a separate bar code and sometimes you don't. If you haven't received one, it's simple, just skip that barcode thing. I recently returned an item and didn't receive an extra barcode for it, it was on the return label itself; hence, no issues!

I only got a return mailing label. Am I supposed to get the return authorization label myself or was the seller supposed to send them both???
Well it's sent by Amazon itself; however, if you haven't received it then it might not be required in your case. Moreover, the return label also specifies the number of items being returned and the bar code is also present on it; hence no worries, paste it and send it!
Thank you! I wanted to mention that everything you need is also sold there at the Canada Post. I went there with just the box of the item that I wanted to return, and the return mailing label; they sold me a bubble line poly mailer which was only $2.60 and they provided a plastic paper sleeve that goes on the bubble line poly mailer, so the return mailing label can be on the front and protected.

@@mahinkhan8299 Hi! If you haven't received a bar code, it's simple, just skip that barcode thing and do the rest of the process. I recently returned an item and didn't receive a separate barcode for it, it was on the return label itself.

hii. Thanks for the video. I have one question. in the instructions, they one of the points is ''Write your return address in the space provided in the upper-left corner of the label, after the word "FROM." my address is already written there I am confused what they mean by this.
If your address is already mentioned, you can skip that instruction. They might've asked to write if it was not mentioned. Or contact Customer Care if you still have any doubt.

What do I do if I did not put the Barcode inside the box? I already wrapped the package like full wrapped
Just to be on the safe side unwrap and put the barcode in it... Keep your fingers crossed if you have already returned the package! I am unsure regarding pasting the barcode of the package itself; it may cause some confusion while shipping but again not sure about this.

Yes you can use any other box or get a box from Canada Post!

Just grab any box, it doesn't matter and it won't create any issue and if you don't have then go to any nearby grocery shop(small or big) or mart(superstore/Walmart etc) they'll certainly help you or you can even ask the person at the post office if he has any extra boxes.

On the amazon page, they say that I have to return the product by a specific day. For example, they say (Return by 17 Sep, 2022), but I don't know if can I return the product sooner. Thanks for the video
17 sep means- you can return any time between Aug 19(today) and Sep 17. Hence, in your case do it as soon as possible as amazon will not accept returns after Sep 17. I am glad you find it helpful 😇

Of course you will if the product is eligible for a refund! It will take a week probably for the refund amount to reflect in your bank statement.

Hi! I am not sure if they will refund to your new CC, it's better that you discuss with the Customer Care- open the Amazon App, click the 3 horizontal line on the bottom right corner then scroll down and you will see the Customer Care option (below Settings option). Click that, then select the item that you want to refund or have a query then click any reason under 'Okay, how can I make this right?' . Again scroll down, you will see 'I need more help' - click on that. Finally select - 'Start chatting now' or 'Request call now'. Hope this helps!

why it’s not implemented in canada why use paper when it can be done electronically
how do you attach an invisible QR code to a package going through the mail? how does your postal service track packages if they are not clearly identifiable? Answer: it's not possible. someone down the line must print *something* and stick it on the box.
*You* might not be printing out anything at home, but your postal carrier is definitely printing something (like a QR code) and sticking it to the box...how else would they be able to identify and deliver boxes after drop off?? do you think Mary Poppins uses some magic umbrella to fly your mail to its destination?? c'mon, use common sense.
in Canada, our postal carrier doesn't have an agreement with Amazon to do that.. which makes sense cuz why use taxpayer funded resources to pay for the paper and printing costs when only a relatively small percentage of tax payers are returning Amazon products ...
So in the UK, there is no "paperless" returns or lesser costs to the environment... all you're doing is passing the responsibility and costs to your postal service....(which in the end, is paid for by tax payers, no?...yeahh...real smart 😂)

If you are returning within 30 days of the receipt of the item then you don't need to pay any delivery charges.

Take your product and go to Canada Post, they have everything like the box, bubble wrap etc. I believe they will charge you some $s for the packaging stuff or you can ask your nearby grocery store if they have an extra box. I hope it helps!😇

Nope! It can be a plastic package too, like an amazon plastic package (waterproof=extra protection against damage)

Nope! It's mentioned on their App " Amazon.ca and most sellers on Amazon.ca offer returns for items within 30 days of receipt of shipment."
I only received one bar code
What about large items ?
All returns for Amazon will be done in the same way... The difficult part is when you buy a mattress and you open it..you will have to vacuum out the air and roll it back just like how it was delivered, same case with any heavy or large item.

Don't worry about that, ask them ' if you can please process this Amazon return' . Also you can inform them that this product was eligible for a free return. (Return policy is mentioned below the 'Add to Cart/ Buy Now icon) That's it! They won't be asking anything else if your product is eligible for return.😊
