    Hey beautiful people, in this video I show you my start to finish hair growth routine for optimal growth! If you:
    🌟Have been stuck at the same length for years?
    🌟Have hair that constantly breaks off no matter what you do?
    🌟You don’t have a set hair routine and make it up as you go along?
    …this simple routine is for you.
    (SAVE THIS FOR WASH DAY!)
    Steps below 👇🏾
    0️⃣If high porosity do a hot oil treatment before shampoo if low porosity skip to next step.
    1️⃣Shampoo with Hair Growth Shampoo and Massaging brush (sections of 4) (packed with so many potent herbs that nourish, strengthen and stimulate hair regrowth)
    2️⃣Finger detangle in those sections gently with Tangle Slayer, rewetting to activate the conditioner. (Watch previous reel for detangling tutorial)
    3️⃣Squeeze out excess water, apply Deep Conditioner into smaller sections minimum 20 minutes. For Low Porosity use a steam cap to optimise moisture penetration 💦
    4️⃣Rinse, Apply Leave in Conditioner in sections of 6
    5️⃣Proceed to stretched hair style. Braid out with 6 braids using
    Leave in Conditioner - ominiranaturals.com/collectio...
    Hair Strengthening Oil - ominiranaturals.com/collectio...
    Eco Styler Gel -
    6️⃣ Apply Extra Strength Hair Growth Potion to my hairline/areas of concern.
    7️⃣Wear braids as a protective style, release after a minimum of 3 days.
    8️⃣Do not separate on day 1, when hair feels dry throughout the week spritz with water, apply more Hair Strengthening Oil
    Try this every 2 weeks and just see how much length you will retain. 💫

    Sis your hair is certainly gorgeous, I was natural for about 5 years, hair was half your length and exact same hair type, did things exactly how I see you doing them here lol😊 watching you even brings back memories, the 4 section shampooing/conditioning and everything that followed, I believe because I am older I got sooooo tired of the extensive process, I just started losing the energy to do it, and every natural knows, to stay super healthy is TIMEEE CONSUMINGGG🙆🏽‍♀️ no joke, I broke down and went back to a relaxer about a year ago, and I am recovering from some shedding🤦🏽‍♀️because it was left in too long, but I knew it was a risk, now I find myself back doing protective styles until its rectified, so another saga continues😅 but truly hats off to you my darling🎩for going the distance! It has clearly paid off for you!👏🏽May you continue to have a Long Happy Healthy Hair Life!💆🏽‍♀️💐💖

    You are an inspiration!! Just recently took down a two months old braids and it was alot..the whole process of pre-poo to detangling to shampoo and conditioning and the sectioning to apply leave in conditioner, cream and oils and braiding it, got me so tired but its worth the whole struggle. The goal is butt length but I still have a long way to go.

    +Janetdavies do you have any style options for those of us who have hair that is longer than collar. One but not quite bra strap length. My hair doesn’t like 2 strands twists as in mini- med sized all over,”. I need a style I can wear to the office. I may start washing my hair in a Thursday as I work from home on Fridays. That way I can keep my hair in 6 braids for at least 2 days. Thanks for any advise you can offer.

    I just texturized my hair a few days ago and now I regret it. I am seriously tempted to cut it all off again and go from there.
    The thing is that my hair was cut damn near bald. My hair grew back but it was wavy, thin and so so dry in some areas. Then in other areas it was kinky, coily and still so so dry.
    Went to the dermatologist and was prescribed this medicated oil for traction alopecia. Smh
    My head/scalp was itchy, dry and my hair felt like straw. So after over a year of this I finally texturized it smh
    My hair grows like crazy when permed/texturized. I just didn't want to deal with my hair falling out, the itchy scalp and my edges literally disappearing before my eyes.

    • @janetidavies
      @janetidavies  2 года назад +3

      Hey my love thanks for your support! I don’t typically use in between wash days as I find the spritz of water + oil is sufficient to reactivate the conditioner and get my hair moisturised again, the products do a great job at maintaining moisture for a long period of time. Hope that makes sense!

    Do you wash your hair every three weeks or this was a one time thing? I have same texture and wash every week and feel like it’s too much. I lose a good amount of stand and I want to preserve it. Will follow some of these tips to see improvement. My goal is thickness and growth!

      She washes her hair every 2 to 3 weeks if I'm correct, after protective hairstyle. If you feel like washing your hair every week is too much and that leads to breakage and hair loss maybe you should consider waitinf a longer period of time before doing it 🙂

Not all naturals I know keep their hair braided or twisted all the time, and some how they do achieve hair growth 🙂

      Hi,
      Can you share how you detangled your hair after 5 months? Was your hair matted, or not? 😘

    • @Ebizzill
      @Ebizzill 2 года назад +2

      @@patricenewsam9267 my hair was EXTREMELY matted, prior to that I've been working on getting my hair to be at a point where its soft and I found that the aveda leave in conditioner spray (the pink line) was the most effective in doing that.
      I had to take small to medium sections, finger detangle first dry to take out shed hairs, then I sprayed the product ,finger detangled and massaged some more and then went over with my wide tooth comb (goody brand) and started from bottom to top , the parts that were knotted up, I would isolate them, spray some more solution in it, and then one by one, I would take out each hair strand out front that knot. Such a tedious process, then I'd either twist it out or roll it into a bantu knot and repeat throughout my head.

    • @patricenewsam9267
      @patricenewsam9267 2 года назад +2

      Thank you, I so appreciate your response. I feel embarrassed to admit that I still have not mastered the techniques that work for my hair. It’s exasperating. My hair at the back is now extremely matted and my sister will look at it this weekend. I’m low porosity and air drying and I feel low manipulation do not appear to be appreciated by my low porosity, fine 4c hair. I have to try to avoid the ‘big chop’. I’m going to order the Aveda, pink line product to see if it will work for me. I know I’m scared of combing my hair because it seems vulnerable. I’m glad that you were able to work with your hair without having to cut it. It gives me hope. Thank you so much for your response. I’m hope that you will receive the response you are seeking from Janet soon. You may want to deep condition every time you wash your hair to encourage moisture and hydration. I have read that knowing your ‘porosity’ is very important when designing a regimen and consistency pays off. Thank you, Sis 😘

      @@patricenewsam9267 Im really glad you reached out honestly because it lets me know that im not the only one, we're all grown ass people but we all have lives and we're all going through things, so hair is the last thing we even think about.
      My hair is as lot thinner than what it used to be, so Im going to do some treatments and cut it bits at a time, until it starts to thicken up, believe it or not, just by leaving it alone, I've achieved my length goal that I've been trying to get for the last 5 years, im past boobs length, but its so thin.
      I dont have any motivation to let my hair out yet, so I'll keep it in looser twists and keep it pushing. It needs protein if anything, hair is hella moisturized thanks to that aveda leave in. ps: its a bit pricey, but its the only thing seems to work the best for me, I use it once and keeps my hair moisturized until the next hair wash day... which is 2 weeks later. So at the end of the day it ends up being cost effective. 🤷‍♀️
