Excellent video, I like the fact that there is so much competition between all the different companies it makes for better pricing and better products, I don't have a TRX4 yet but I think this might be the one
We love our Defenders , I guess the sport is a bit more budget and less complicated. But I feel like it’s a bit of a step back after Traxxas smashes onto the trail scale crawl game. Still intriguing though.
Fake News , we is my 9 year old son and I. We all have an opinion, I never said this sport Version was a bad thing just seemed a bit of a back step to take away all the Technology they put into the Defender or Bronco. But that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Just different. We don’t speak for anyone but our selves. 😉
I love my defender body for trailing. It makes it look more realistic w/ the added weight working the suspension. For anything semi-serious it definitely hinders it and that's why I ordered a proline jeep body for it today. I don't feel like the sport is a step back though, more of an entry level into scale crawling as most people won't want to jump into the hobby w/ a sub-$500 truck
I love both my Defenders and my tactical unit. One defender is so upgraded, it crawls rocks really well and is great on trails. Stock servos. Stock motor. Geardown set, custom links, custom shocks, tires and rims, axle wieghts, bumpers. It's a great machine.
LET'S PLAY RC! & HOBBY Well I crawl with a lot Axial fan boys and they did not like the TRX4 because they did not want all the servos. I have heard from them now saying that they would probably buy one now because of the locked differential and the single speed transmission one of the guys I know bought one of my TRX4 Defender and he remove the body removed all the extra servos got a lock kit for the differentials so he spent more money trying to make it like the sport.🤔😂 so I believe that Traxxas research is dead on. I however I will be getting a sport as soon as it released because I want the simple one as well as my two originals.
I'm glad you did a review on this one. I agree, I want one also. I'm diggin that blue one personally. So with the three servos gone, a single speed trans, and a much lighter body, this thing has to wiegh a pound or two less. I've heard the gearing is sorta in between the low and high of the defender. I've got a seven tooth pinion for that though. Great review!
Good review brother. I like that they got rid of the diff lock/unlock but the two speed was a nice option. All in all, I think if I were to ever buy a traxxass that would probably be the one.
BullgearRC videos I do love the shifting but! I find myself unlocking and locking my diff all the time in the middle of my crawl and messing me up. So I can’t wait to get this rig. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
