I have DJI mini 2 for about 4 years at this point and still love using it ❤ this drone to me seems like the ULTIMATE upgrade! And I love the fact this is both cheap, small (arguably smaller) versatile and technology upgraded! Something I'm looking forward in getting.
I'd say only get it if you want to do a lot of selfie recording, or if you want the goggles. Though if you were looking for a real upgrade I'd chose the mini 3/4 pro or air 3s

You say this won’t stop you through skill or money but the price tag says a bit different. You could make a custom 5 inch racing drone fast enough to compete in actual competitions for the same price.
