All of which were the snow balling consequence and effects of a brain hemorrhage incurred in a severe mtb crash in Colorado.

I once got busted in Edinburgh with half a kilo of coke. The cops said it had "a street value of over two million pounds". It was £25000 worth, IF I sold the whole thing as grams. She's so rad! I would always cheer for her back in the day and was always stoked to see her ride. It'd get me pumped to go ride as well. She was sendin it ,back before sendin it was a thing. So rad!
Does anybody else like riding bikes when you high 🤷♂️
Not when I do legit downhill biking in the woods...but just cruising, yes.
fckn love it...
I do , I be so engaged and fast thinking on point
No. Wait, no that's drunk... never mind.
I ENJOY DOING EVERYTHING HIGH
Missy was a rockstar back in the day. Met her a few times at some NORBA nationals...girl had something about her for sure. Glad to see her feet are back on the ground...even when flying.
Peace, love and dirt.
Them gold bars saved their ass! No lie lol
crazy how relatable this is an the fact it has showed up on my feed when it has is just wierd
Do one with shaun palmer
There is a Shaun Palmer movie. It's called 'the miserable champion' . It's awesome.
@@mattredgate8015 It's actually pretty depressing tbh.....its sitting on my shelf right now. Watched it the first time and just felt really bad for the dude and he was my idol as a kid.
@@SOLOIIguru He probably has his regrets but it's a great story. He came from nothing and he went so f**king hard. Killed it at every sport he tried.
Hahaha
@@mattredgate8015 I have seen the movie and I loved it really well made but also pretty depressing
I met her in Helen Georgia at the world championships in like 1995 when she raced for Volvo cannondale, she was a fucking superstar. Signed autographs, took a picture in front of our old Volvo, super cool memory. I’d almost forgotten about until watching this, thanks missy!!
She must have stashed some of her earnings to be able to afford that Lexus SUV
Of course she did. If you were in that situation too I'm sure you would have places you'd stash. Shit every 50k would be stashed in all different places for me lol.
But also realize that Lexus is super old man. Like a 2004 Lexus Rx330. Probably easily going for less than 7k right now.
Her competition mtb is worth more than the lexus.
@Deee S Just looked.. Probably a 2012 or around there. Goes for about 15 to 18k. Lexus/Toyota always keeps their value. That model car looks really old school though. Looks like a 2005 type of car.
Her wife died, January 18th, 2019… sorry for that
Great story of a great person. Love you
RIP
the person who snitched on her needs a pair of cement shoes
Kind of a big detail missing. She paid a friend to do the driving for her! She wasn’t going balls out - she cheaped out and didn’t do the job she was paid to do and as a result everyone got caught.
"slinging weed" lol
She has a story an testimony to tell...much respect
At 8:38 is anyone else hearing billion?
Even 1.1 million is a lot. That’s 3800 per pound, or 8.37 per gram at WHOLESALE prices.
Something has to be off here.
This was years ago 2012 I was paying 4k #
@@thenotoriousjmc3952 yeah DEA is a bunch of dimwits.
@@Scumbagius Can't tell if that's sarcasm or not, obviously they know it's not worth that much they just up the price so they can charge you more heavily. Another example of why the justice system is flawed.
@@thenotoriousjmc3952 they are dimwits

Just an amazing video! Very inspirational! I'ma start as soon as possible 💯👌 Thank you guys
I think it's incredible how Missy down-plays her MTB acheivements. She was the only woman to who could actually compete with the legendary Ann-Caroline Chausson, nobody else came close but Missy was faster on her day.
Dude! I used to read about Missy in MTB magazine when I was a kid in the 90s. I knew she was special
$2900/lb yaaaaaaaaaaaaa right. thats how they take a $50,000 drug bust and call it a $1,000,000 bust
I was trying to find this comment bra 😂
I once got busted in Edinburgh with half a kilo of coke. The cops said it had "a street value of over two million pounds".
It was £25000 worth, IF I sold the whole thing as grams. Cops be dammned and fuck off. Overestimating the value by a factor of 80 just to make people think the worst. I've known cops to be busted with three times that and claim it was only worth £5000. This is one of the many reasons why people don't like the police.
lol !! I remember in Vermont when we we were doing rental car rallying . Missy sent her team Volvo wagon off the road jump she went big . Man the days of Norba mtn bike racing . Good ol’ day’s we all needed a big picker up after norba checked out .
All the best to you and your wife Missy . Thoughts and Prayers ❤️
Really crazy story. Glad I got to watch it. Wish it was longer definitely.
7:51 wow, that's the badassest thing
Question???>> why would any 1.Admit to being a Drug Trafficker to the General Public like this?...I've always thought of these Types of Programs as 100% BS..
If she was a black dude she'd have been sent to prison for life.
Tom G You actually just wrote that
Tom G respect to ya
David Blinn if she was a black dude they would have sold crack instead stupid
And there's the doos that brings race into everything
@T D Do you have anything valuable to add to the conversation? They literally bought their way out of prison as part of the deal. That's racist: Against poor people.
wow, that was a crazy, but great story. Just saw Missy on a MTB video, with her, Timmy C and Hans Ray. Crazy stuff.
As a Dutch person I always am like "You smuggle drugs? Weed? That ain't drugs!" cause it's nothing here.
In the Netherlands you buy your weed ( legally ) from a coffeeshop. But, the coffeeshop uses the black market still to obtain there hash and weed.
It's only decriminalised..... not legal like Canada for instance, coffeeshops and seedbanks closing all the time so I think it is nothing there!
Ofbaserion 🇳🇱🇳🇱🇳🇱🇳🇱🧀🧀🧀
when i was in the netherlands: some bloke rolls down his window and is like: hey boys, wanna buy some cocaine?!
in the middle of a crowded city, lol
Welcome to my backyard!! Linville and looks like a little bailey mountain downhill 🙌🏻
And all the DEA achieved was to deny a few people from getting high, temporarily.
Love you Missy! So sorry for your partner's cancer. If I ran a bike company you'd be my first call.
At 13 years old I raced the grundig world championships at mount snow in Vermont and watched missy finish the last half of a race with a flat rear tire. She was a speed demon
Just legalize everything and tax it. If you wanna get high go someplace safe and away from kids.
Well idk about legalizing everything... there would be a heck ton more crackheads if everything was suddenly legalized. Maybe rather a gradual transition into legalizing everything
Beast Life when you said “dumbest”, there’s gonna be a grammar nazi reply in a few days. I’m waiting for the moment to roast the shit out of that grammar nazi
I met her at snowshoe in West Virginia and she gave me snowboarding lessons

Missy was one of my hero’s back then, her and tinker were so awesome! Man I used to love reading about them. I feel so bad for her and her wife. Would love her to get into designing bikes. Bet she would have some wild ideas.
I remember missy from back in the day. RESPECT
she knew what the GPS was lol she snitched before the drop its a bit obvious, but nice storytelling for the "good folks"
I got hit with 16 bank robberies back in 2006,
And one week before the FBI raided me I found a GPS tracking device on my Ford Explorer attached to the rear bumper up underneath. It actually said on it "wireless gps tracking device". But that one week before the raid it Gave me enough time to destroy any evidence I had in my house.
Jeremy Stewart did it work?
@@ceozu1312 no
@Jeremy Stewart what would I look up to find articles about these bank robberies?
U can tell my parents named me after their lifestyle, this is my real name.

I like vice doing other angles related to sports with a bit of true stories behind it. Gd thinking!
Moral of the story the popo was super mad they weren't getting paid. So after getting all the mullah they were all good.
Oh shit I remember playing as Missy in Downhill Dominatiom on PS2, never knew what happened to her.
same, didn't know this happened
Her voice reminds me of Steve-O. She’s like a female version of him. In a good way.
Yes 😏
This is crazy! I was a fan of hers when she was racing and no idea about this story. Seems like a warm soul. Wish her the best.
2 million in gold i know he mad he told them about that
