Hans Rey is an absolute inspiration and an undisputable legend. His initiatives around the world are truly appreciable. i think that guys like him are a very health example for the newer generations
One of my biggest trial inspiration, Jeff Lenosky, inspired by Hans Rey. And who rides with him? The mighty bass man, Timmy C, who inspired me to pick up the bass. I don't think this could be more awsome. Thank you guys, for everything!
Its always a pleasure to see Hans shred on a bike, and what a pleasant bonus to see Missy as well. And as luck would have it, to see Timmy C...I actually have his saddle on my bike LOL!
Fantastic movie and great to see Missy on a bike again!! Go girl!!! Hans was the reason for me to start urban trials back in the days in Stockholm/Sweden and i saw Missy at Interbike in 2000 giving autographs. Will absolutely bring my bike on next trip to LA and try some of those trails.
absolutely amazed, now I love California even more, hope one day have the opportunity to walk or ride there, what an awesome place on earth...and you guys, you did one of the best documentaries about the joy of riding bikes and be the happiest people in the whole world ...I love you all
Hans your videos rip! I’ve been listening the Rage Against The Machine for over 20 years and had no idea that Timmy C gets down on MTB’s. It would be a dream come true to ride with those guys. These vids get me pumped for the next ride! Keep slaying the trails!!
NO RedBullSh!t here!!! Very refreshing! This video is epic and down to earth, it make you wanna go out and ride your bike immediately... Good job Hans Rey 👍
Hans you have inspired me to make the same trip. I can only make the trip with my Walmart bike but I am thinking to make a video about how not letting lack of money stop these Adventures. I will make trip with all walmart gear . thnx
They call me Alf no shame bro, I started on a Walmart bike till I broke it. Then I got a upgrade off Craigslist and then I got a decent Hardtail from a bike shop now two years later I’m saving up for a full suspension rig from the brand canyon!
You've got the idea, just get out and ride. I have an older Specialized Rockhopper Comp with Zero Lite Veulta rims. I love it, I'm doing other upgrades. Like hydraulic brakes and front forks. I also just purchased an Northrock XCOO Fat Tire. Both are amazing bikes.
Gotta say what an awesome video! And to have Jimmy C on the ride with a Prophets of Rage soundtrack makes it just that much better! Sweet knowing he shreds the music AND the bike! (And probably a lot more.)
Rim Trail into Gabrielino and some messing around up on the Sturtevant falls trail. Traditional "dark side" descent, if you ever come out and catch a shuttle.
This is totally one of those vids that makes me want to just grab the bike, roll right out of the garage, and make something epic happen! Great to see Missy on 2 wheels!
The most amazing part is seeing this lush environment within sight of downtown LA. Then again, I never expected Sierra Madre to look just like a verdant Marin County neighborhood. But that's the thing about California: WIDE range of geography and environments. Coast, desert, agriculture, redwoods, alpine crags, you name it!
just recently started watching Hans videos and I'm a FAN! Have done the backbone trail and mostly ride in and around the valley, Agoura, Malibu, Mulholland. Ill get to Catalina looks fun as soon as heal from a whipe out that dislocated my shoulder. Lots of inspiration here to jump back on ASAP. Thx!
Vielen Dank für das tolle Videos, bin im Geiste mitgefahren und habe alle Eindrücke, als wären sie live, erleben können..‼️👍 Many thanks and best regards from the good old Germany..‼️👌
Great video! Missy was always an inspiration. I love that you’ve highlighted LA’s underutilized and oft forbidden trails. These trails should be enjoyed by all. Keep it up!
I’ve done the Mt Wilson front range of the San Gabriel mountains many times and the PASADENA to LA via Arroyo Seco. Great seeing sections of those trails!
THANK YOU Hans Rey and GT for an incredible video! LOVED watching Hans and GREAT to see MIssy back in action!! Not a fan of ebikes personally, but that's why we have choices in life. Hope to see more of these in the future!
Thank you Hans for this incredible adventure. It was great to see Missy and Timmy out with you. This view of LA and surrounding areas is a inspiration for those of us that have never been. It proves there is still nature and adventure in the city, you have to be willing to find It! Great cinematography and soundtrack!
dude, I love this style of documenting! I saw the Kilimanjaro video but didn't realize you had a channel. I will be travelling to Los Angeles in February and this video was very helpful. Thanks!
Great ride I would love to ride whit Tim so much to talk about I mean he play in one of the best rock bands ever just imagine talking about mountain bikes and rock and roll.
Awesome video and story. Had no idea there were bison out there! Thanks Hans for making this video, your huge contribution to the sport, and for doing wheels4life.
Hans... I was just listening to Bulls on Parade by Rage Against the Machine.... then I remembered back in the day , whenever I heard the song 'Bomb Track ' Missy G always came to mind.... now here they are bombing tracks together ....
Such a sick video! I ride Mt Wilson all the time its definitely one of my favorite trails. You're a legend, I met you at Sky Park and you're such a down to earth person as well. 🤘
Two of all my all-time favorite riders and what an epic urban adventure. Not a fan of ebikes at all so I stopped watching once I realized they were using them but the video is great up to that point!

Thanks Hans and of course Missy. The world's best mountain bike heroes ever. Love you both. Wonderful video.
Cool Video Hans! Bitte mehr davon!
This video has a definite 90's MTB video vibe! Love it!
The best thing YT has ever recommended to me.....this should have millions of views....hand and the Missle shredding LA....epic. Thanks Hans!
Missy Giove! I was in awe of you when I was younger. Damn it's great to see you riding!
Hans Rey is an absolute inspiration and an undisputable legend. His initiatives around the world are truly appreciable. i think that guys like him are a very health example for the newer generations
My favorite SoCal mtb video
How TF does this not have millions of views? What are people watching?
Amazing.
So rad.. There really is nothing like a sunset downhill to the sea..
Missy can still ride like crazy.
One of my biggest trial inspiration, Jeff Lenosky, inspired by Hans Rey. And who rides with him? The mighty bass man, Timmy C, who inspired me to pick up the bass.

So Awesome to see the “Missile” again.
Missy the missle. Giove was my fav lady on a bike. I watched her videos and on tv. Most of the time they were on. Glad she's doing biking.
I want to see more of her. Missed the hell out of her!
Didn't she snitch?
Awesome video, Hans! Nice to see Missy riding! Two legends!
I've been riding a mountain bike since 1984, and this reminds me of the riding life I've lead. So cool.
absolutely amazed, now I love California even more, hope one day have the opportunity to walk or ride there, what an awesome place on earth...and you guys, you did one of the best documentaries about the joy of riding bikes and be the happiest people in the whole world ...I love you all

I didn't know there were such beautiful routes to Los Angeles. It's a dream!
So nice to have it in 4K! Thanks Hans!
I remember watching Timmy C ride his MTB in Cuba when Audioslave played there. Great watching him shred on two wheels again!
NO RedBullSh!t here!!! Very refreshing!
This video is epic and down to earth, it make you wanna go out and ride your bike immediately...
Good job Hans Rey 👍
Bike superstars on an awesome route. I wish that was me! Excellent film.

Epic! Great soundtrack, great riding... even Ebikes! Skid marks on Skid row... lol. Loved it.
Gotta say what an awesome video! And to have Jimmy C on the ride with a Prophets of Rage soundtrack makes it just that much better! Sweet knowing he shreds the music AND the bike! (And probably a lot more.)
That first trail looks bonkers, great vid! Meeting Missy at Fort William such an honour, legends!
Lucky you when was this? Was she competing?
Rim Trail into Gabrielino and some messing around up on the Sturtevant falls trail. Traditional "dark side" descent, if you ever come out and catch a shuttle.

What a epic ride!
I certainly hope no one caught poison oak. You all were definitely brushing up against it.
Awesome tour of the trail in beginning of vid. Definately no room for error in several rock sections!
If that doesn't make you get out riding, then nothing will.
I loved the ride, your all legends.
Talk about never judge a book by its cover. Some decent skills and balls too. Nice video.
Great video! Missy was always an inspiration. I love that you’ve highlighted LA’s underutilized and oft forbidden trails. These trails should be enjoyed by all. Keep it up!
Cool, very enjoyable to see such a broad range of adventure that can be had on MTB's
Missy and Hans? I’m having a 90s flashback. All we need now is John Tomac.
