I loved this show...and Buffy. I didn't care how the show evolved. I was along for the ride. I just wished they had more time to explore the Angel/Spike dynamic.
It was this show that introduced the concept of Spin Offs for me. And created the expectation that Spin offs should be successful while honoring and creating their own individual identity. I truly love Angel for that. Heck I dare to say that Angel is the show that truly paved the way for spin offs to be a thing!!!

I love the video you’ve done on the show of angel and the character because I actually love the character and I loved her how basically he has two personalities there. She’s good side and then nurses darker half and I also love that in the video clips that you included for this video that you included Nick and Jess from new girl. You included Father Jack when he hit your man in Father Ted, which I know of Father Ted because I’m actually Irish myself, but I really really enjoyed the video. It was very good.

Hello, you don’t know me my name is Jordan I found a child the blind world I’m visually impaired in real life, but apart from that I want to say that I agree with you on the series because I actually like angel for my shit I’ve seen and especially his backstory. I love his backstory. I love the fact that he’s Irish because I am actually from Ireland in real life and just had a funny character.
I have to agree with you there because I love the originals and I love the Michaelson family as a whole and I did not agree that season five of the originals should have just been 13 episodes. I thought it should’ve been more and also with legacies I thought they should’ve been a follow-up series and I love angel. I love small Vale I love Buffy the Vampire Slayer and because I’m from Ireland the clips to Houston this video, the likes of Father Ted and new girl. I grew up with those shells and I love them.
I thought Angel was a fine show with the exception of s4, which had storylines for some of the characters (Jasmine, Angelus, Cordelia and Connor) that felt overblown and undid a lot of the good work. However the continued 'darkness' of Wesley in particular made it watchable nonetheless, and it had an excellent final series. At the time I was more open to the idea of a 'Ripper' spinoff as I felt the character seemed to have more unexplored potential, but the 'Vampire PI who's trying to stay off human blood' steered clear of overusing Angelus and had some superb material - even if, for all its broodier atmosphere, I don't necessarily feel it ever got quite as gloomy as s6 of Buffy.
You still get some Detective Angel in season 3. That element definitely takes a big step back in seasons 4 and 5, where there seemed to be an increasing emphasis on pitting Angel and his team against bigger and badder world-dominating big bads. It felt like the writers were trying to turn the show into Buffy when it didn't need to be.
I agree that she is and for 150 and that Grace, but I still love the fight scene between feet and the beast, because she thought she was something when she was going up against him, and because he had bigger muscles and high levels of strength, he just stood there while she was punching him, and he’s expression wise. Are you kidding me? Is this all you can do, and I felt the same, especially said she was going up against a bigger and stronger opponent, and she thought she could basically defeat him with rage when you can’t do that. because I’m a huge fan of Dragonball and I actually do boxing in real life and I know from doing my boxing and watching Dragonball. You don’t go fucking strong opponents and try to beat them and basically I’m sure rage if you’re a smaller opponent than them
Done right until a stupid pregnancy showed up and Angel The Serie lost his identity...the beginning was right, the lasts seasons (4 and 5) went in a wrong direction
@@Twisted-View S5 is not my favorite because I lost what I likes the most. I missed the Angel Investigations family, the link betwenn the characters. And Spike's return never worked for me.
Yeah, love Angel, but season 5 is highly overrated. It just didn't feel right without Cordelia. I rewatched season 4 a couple of years ago. It's not as bad as I remember but still feels contrived and Connor was just incredibly annoying. He should have gotten over his hate for Angel much sooner.
Yeah but she was actually pregnant and apparently Wheddon was being a twat by this storyline. Should listen to what Charisma said about her experience.
Season 5 had so much potential, but then never went anywhere. Most likely because it was supposed to be spread out over two seasons, but then they got cancelled. And Spike had been downgraded to comic relief. Season 4 is by far the most action packed, every episode is exciting season. The problem with season 4 is that people can't get over the Cordelia/Connor thing and that people don't like that Connor keeps getting manipulated by everyone.

Angel is a master piece. Its my 2nd favorite TV show ever right behind Smallville.
Angel is way better than Smallville. I thought he lead guy in Smallville wasn't a very strong actor, and they pretty much copied Buffy's setup.

Yeah yeah, Cordelia and Connor together ewww. The season as a whole though was easily the most exciting season of the entire Buffyverse.
