How To Hit the Ball Then The Turf With Your Irons - Magic Drill
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 28 сен 2024
- How to hit the golf ball first. This video shows you how to make solid contact with the ball so that you can strike the ball then the turf. With one easy swing drill learn how to achieve a professional looking impact position no matter your age or ability.
None of us can swing like Tiger Woods, Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka or Rory McIlroy but we can learn to feel something similar at impact.
The easy swing drill reveals how golfers can naturally move their bodies to create ball first contact.
If you find that you strike the ground behind the ball or tend to feel a weak contact with your golf shots the easy swing drill will really help.

ABOUT DANNY
-----------------------
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!
I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.
On RUclips and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.
Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble
I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

There are umpteen golf channels on YT, many of them obsessing over clubs and gizmos. This is a breath of fresh air. Clear, to the point and logical. Most players would benefit from this drill, not just the beginners.
Thanks for the feedback Gav, much appreciated
this video saved my golf game, cannot stress enough how game changing the “throwing the club” is. i’ve always seen people say hit down on the ball, watched countless videos on compressing the ball. first time i started visualizing throwing the club i started hitting pure iron shots more often than miss hits. thank you for this
@maddox1600 that’s great. Well done 👏
I’ve been struggling with the golf swing for years but this video is what changed everything for me. The idea of throwing the clubhead at the ball is what did it. I immediately started hitting solid shots. Now it’s just a matter of accuracy and consistency. I’m working on that. Thanks Dan
Same. This changed the game for me. I’m significantly better from this video.
I've always struggled with my irons. Until today. I followed Danny's advice and I was quite happy that I wasn't chunking the ball today. I was hitting it right about 80% of the time. Just like you said, work on accuracy and consistency to really enjoy this wonderful game. Thanks Danny.
Glad it helped your golf game. Gives you more time to fix your politics.
Danny, you have been kind enough to respond to two of my inquiries, and I want to return your kindness.
I realized (as a 70 y/o beginner) that I wasn’t swinging correctly because I couldn’t balance myself on my left (lead) leg. So I spent over two months every day just standing on that leg.
Then -gradually- I would turn my hips. Then after the two months, I practiced leaning with my hip to the left and shoulders otherwise- all standing on my lead leg.
It’s not a quick fix, but now I’m comfortable making the necessary weight shift. I have “lag”, and my 7 iron has gone from 125 yds to 155 or more. I finish upright and facing well towards the flag.
I’m hoping you can improve this self-made drill, because my problem all along turned out to be balancing on my lead side as a beginner.
God bless you. Your videos helped get me started at a time in life when I hear most golfers ate hanging it up. I’m
That’s so clever Bob and thanks so much for sharing it. By taking time and developing I feel and balance it has clearly paid off well done
It must be cool to know that around the world your voice is with us, enthusiastic and genuine and making golf fun. Thanks 🙏
This video changed my golf game... Thank you. I just broke 80 for the first time. I have been golfing for over 10 years and now I am finally playing stress free golf. You the man! I truly appreciate this.
That’s great to hear Carter 😁
Greetings from NZ. What an awesome lesson and so simple. Watched it when I got into work at 7:45 am and then went and practiced at my local park at lunchtime and immediately started hitting the ball straighter and further. This is a real game changer for me after battling with spraying my shots left and right. I think I may even get those dots tattooed onto my torso! Thanks so much Danny
Wow! Seems like this video (and drill) might be the answer to my life-long inconsistency playing this game. Great video! Thank you!
Thank you Darren, hope the drill improved your golf swing 😁
Danny, I am 57 years old and haven't played in many years so I am pretty much a new player. I embarressed myself on the course a few weeks ago. couldn't hit any club at all. I have watched your driving videos and now have that worked out. I was just out on the driving range practicing the drills in this video and wow! what a complete turn around. Thank you so much for these videos and especially for the easy and basic way you explain the golf swings. They make so much sense to me and now I feel that I can at least go out on the course and not make a fool of myself. Thank you, thank you. Peter F. Fort Myers Florida
Hey, Danny the man it's Dan here from NZ. I found this the best drill of all. I'm not a pro golfer but play on a 4 handicap at 67. Cheers mate.
Easily one of the best instructional videos I've seen. Just took this drill to the range and I'm pretty excited at the immediate impact on my swing. I will be checking out your other videos because I like how clearly you were able to describe this drill and what you should be feeling in the swing. Thank you
Thanks for the feedback Nate, hope the drill is still working
Have always been struggling with consistency due to watching too much "lag" n "compress the ball" videos. Other golf coaches should watch n learn from YOU, Danny. Hands down my fave coach. Simple n Easy tips for anyone to understand. I owe you a round of golf.
Another awesome drill. My ball striking has immediately improved. Keep up the amazing work Danny, you’re hands down the best on RUclips.
Very kind, hope they help your ball striking
Totally agree, Danny gives technique that just works
J much appreciated, great to hear the channel is helping 😁
One of the best drills I've ever seen to help the "lifter hitter" Danny!
Thanks Steve, hope it helps
;;
This is a great drill. I’ve been so focussed on getting weight over my forward leg on the downswing I’ve allowed my upper body to lean back and keep smacking the turf ahead of the ball. Can’t wait to try this!
You got this!
Danny, great job! I used to golf at least once a week, and practice almost everyday. I was an honest 9-10 handicap. I had arthritis in both hips and my swing changed as both hips got worse. My swing got to the point of being a "rocker" because I lost movement in my hips. I would rock rearward on the back swing, and then forward on the front swing to obtain weight transfer. Well... It got to the point I could no longer play golf. However, I had both hips replaced 1.5 years ago and someone invited me golfing. I found my swing was still a rocking swing. My new hips worked so well...NOTHING in my golf swing felt right, nothing. After trying your drill (5 times) I can clearing see EXACTLY what I have not been doing, and it is the move (uncoiling) that I need to focus my new swing on. This is the most difficult move for anyone one learning golf to master, however, with this drill...it completely makes sense. Thank you for sharing.
I've been having a very difficult time shifting my weight on my downswing to my left side. This drill is going to help me do that AND striking the ball effectively! You are a great teacher, Danny! You simplify the golf swing making it so much easier to get it right, and do it with confidence!
The drill is going to - how do you know lol
I don't normally write but after today's practice round I was left amazed and gob smacked walking away with +3 after 9 hole and I play off 20!
I've never really had trouble with my balance I've always felt that to be good. However, I was also of the same mind that the club went forward, until I discovered this and realised about keeping the butt close to the body as well as discovering throwing the club and 'casting'. I also took your advice from "How to Nail your backswing Takeaway" video and all together today I hit some of the best shots and approaches I have ever hit. From chipping to pitching and even out of sand this all worked and applied.
Thank you so much, your a great teacher.
Thats amazing to hear Francis, thanks for taking the time to feedback
Absolutely magic Danny boy never seen anyone else do this drill so good for balance and weight transfer my main aim is always to hit ball then turf I think this might nail it for me 👍🏻👍🏻🏌️🏌️
If you take it step by step as I show in the video you will get it...good luck, any questions just ask
Thanks Danny, you win my vote for the best golf instructor on RUclips.
Thanks for the support David
Superb - just what I needed. Brilliantly explained, easy to implement, and expertly delivered.A great drill, many thanks for sharing.
My pleasure Paul, hope it helps you hit the ball then the turf with. more consistency
I'm from Australia and another golfer who does exactly what Anthony does. Very easy to follow video Danny.... off over the grass to practice ... many thanks.
Chris Golfer brilliant, looking forward to read how you get on
Just what I needed. With your recent post on improving the hip turn I'm super confident I can improve my strike once out of lockdown.
You and Crossfield are the best YT instructors out there. Keep up the the great content. Thanks Danny.
Simple and what I really like is it's repeatable and consistent!! Danny your the man with this drill. Thank you.
Thanks so much for the feedback Blake
Such a great video . I hope this reaches many golfers.
Mark Faje thank you Mark, I hope it’s simple enough to help golfers feel how to transform their ball striking
Nice. This lead foot forward drill was apparently a favorite of the great Zimbabwean golfer Mark McNulty. He would practice with it all the time.
I never knew that 👍
I don't usually throw the club until after I hit the ball.
Yes that’s a great feeling, this will give you the delayed hit
Yeah - that's me, too. I usually throw it even farther after I MISS the ball.
I can throw the club further than I hit the ball….
Gnu h ļkkh g ykmjmni88578⁸980
I usually throw the club into the lake after shanking it
Hi there. I watched this video at 3am as I don’t sleep well. And I was up at 6.30am to play golf at 7.30. I can drive the ball well but my problem is hitting fat irons. My best score of the season so far was 75. After watching this twice this morning, I put it into practice in my game, probably not the best time to try it, but anyway, what a difference, I finished with a 68, delighted!!! Thank you for this. Lewis
When you do your "Danny Maude goes to Los Angeles" tour ring me up Danny. You're the best. Thanks for your vids.

Best tip on striking the ball first, can't wait to put that into practice
Hope you enjoy it Andre
Really enjoyed this. Used it during practice today, already focusing on hitting the ball first. It worked well on full shots but needs practice. Love the hands getting closer to the body. This will be amazing. I found massive gains in strike during chipping & pitching by keeping aligned. Thanks man! I'm 13.2 and I think I might come down 2 shots with these thought processes.
Easily one of the most helpful demos on how to strike the ball with proper balance! Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it! thanks for the feedback
I use this tip for practice swings, has helped me massively, the feed back is instant !!
Great news glad it has worked for you
I just watched this video but have not began the drills yet. At this point I think that this is just the thing that addresses my problems more than any tip I have ever seen. I have seen thousands but I have never seen this fault addressed. Thanks so much.
My pleasure Gerald, hope it works out for you...keep me posted
Amazing!! Simply amazing video Danny. Thanks heaps!! You are a legend and definitely my favourite RUclips golf instructor. I can’t wait to concentrate on this the next time I’m practicing.
G Man many thanks, I really do appreciate you taking the time to comment
just getting back into the game after a long time of not really playing. was a 6 when i was younger but never had great ball striking to allow me to progress further. this video and drill is awesome. i actually built a backyard driving net so i could practice this and my contact improved in about 5 "shots". i do this drill everyday and it has made a huge difference in how i am striking the ball and even the feeling of my swing. thank you so much Danny!!
guyalmighty1 my pleasure, really happy to help
Good lesson for us oldies, well, it's helped me 👍
Great to hear Christopher, thanks for sharing
This is the 3rd Video I have watched Danny...each one has ACTUALLY fixed my issues (Bunkers/Chip shots/Ball then turf) thanks so much...uncomplicated teaching
Great swing thoughts Danny you make it look so easy and love the dot thing great lesson.
Thanks 🙏
The exercise has been recommended to me several times by my teachers. But only now have I understood the meaning / context. Positioning the right foot virtually behind the ball is crucial. Thank you for the excellent explanation and visualisation!
By the way: by pushing my hips forwards and tilting my upper body backwards at the same time, I not only tend to hook and make fat hits, but also put a lot of strain on my spine in the sacrum area - with the effect of massive pain for many years.
Great tip! everytime I watch videos like this I just want to grab my clubs and hit the green! even when i'm at work!
superb lesson. And easy to follow and imitate. Takes the golfer outside his head and returns him to feeling the swing. Nick Price hit hundreds of balls in the off season like this in the mid 90's and when he returned to the tour won TWO majors.....
What a ball striker Nick Price was
Fantastic video. Shared with several family members... One of which has spent thousands of dollars on lessons. In my best English accent, this should fix him up proper! 🤣👍
Funny, look forward to hearing how they get on
Wow, ok. My iron ball striking is a little suspect sometimes. I,m straight from your Dad,s lesson! Beyond brilliant. You solved my pitching. Thanks so much.
I watched one of your chipping lessons and used it for my irons centering my weight on the front foot 85%. Approx. Got improvement for irons and driver. I m a six-handicapped 67-year-old. I can improve. This is a little different. Often I practice with my feet close together and play that way. A stroke with a ball struck so far behind the divot has always alluded me. I,m going to watch this again and give it my best.
Love to hear how you get on
At last, something so simple to follow, understand and implement. I love this drill, made a BIG difference, thanks Danny
My pleasure Mark, love to hear how you get on
Brilliant way of teaching. No additional equipment needed.
Thank you Tony, hope it helps your game
A great lesson, Danny has a great way to get a message across, every thing he says makes sense. Thanks a lot.
Thank you Thomas, really appreciate the feedback
Best explanation of throwing the club into the hitting zone. GOOD visualization with lining up the dots.
Ron Buoscio thanks Ron, hope it helps your golf swing
Danny: WOW this is me, the off balance, slam the club behind the ball, cant wait to work with the drill!!Thank you
George Dameron my pleasure George, let me know how it goes
I will try it out myself
You have done it again! Another Great lesson. That was exactly what I have been doing and I never realized that I was flipping at the ball because I was moving my body incorrectly. You have made a complex problem simple. Nobody teaches the game as well as you! I can’t wait to try this the next time I play.
Roger L thanks as always Roger, appreciate the support
Hey Danny,
Great video, as usual. How about some tips about playing in wet and muddy conditions? You can’t always place the ball and I end up slapping the ball. Thanks
Pietro Cardente good idea, as we are approaching winter here in the UK it could be very helpful
@@DanielMaudeI couldn't agree more. even here in Nairobi, we are approaching the rainy season and some tips would really help.
Luke Okoth perfect, leave it with me
One of the very best online golf videos! Addresses my problem - can’t wait to get to the range! Thank you!
Butch Taylor my pleasure Butch, look forward to hearing how it goes
The old timers call this the stork drill. There's a reason this drill has been around such a long time; it works...
Thanks Danny. I watch this video at least a couple times a week. I'm only a "part time" player but realized that I was always trying to "steer" or "control" the club. By "throwing" the club with the path you describe, I have already shaved off a few strokes and continue to improve using this technique!!
Thats awesome Dave well done, learning to let go and throw that club can be tricky for us all but it is well worth it
When we were kids we were taught to get timing hit balls with our feet tight together.
Alan Thistlethwaite yes, great exercise to help balance and coordination
FANTASTIC BALANCE EXCISE! Much needed for us senior citizens.
Thanks again Thomas, I like this one
Great drill Danny. Worked on this last couple of days and it really works . Give it a go guys 👍
peter sydney well done Peter, thanks for taking the time to let me know
great video. you're the first coach to talk about throwing the club naturally letting it fall without trying to guide it.
Hope it helps Nate
Can you "throw the club" when driving? I.e....can this drill be used for the driver? How about short clubs?
Great video Danny 👍 can you use this drill for chipping around the green.
Good job I have been hurt for two years and have just started again. I was a 7 and now hitting a 9 120 yards. I forgot about this drill and it works great
Yes, it really helps you feel how the body works around an axis
"Throw the club at the ball" works for me. Now I have to readjust my club selection for approach shots, because I'm hitting the ball higher and over the green. LoL!
Love it, so much easier isn't it Craig?
"Throw the club" Mike Austin taught that.
Adrea
When we were kids we were taught to get timing hit balls with our feet tight together.
Sub'd, 30 years ago when I took lessons from our club pro. This was one of the drills that he had me perform in order to help transition from hitting it straight to creating a draw. this is also a tremendous drill for balance. I had no idea I could use this as a drill for making contact better.
That’s wonderful, welcome to the channel
Hey Danny. Thankyou for the content! I wondered if you could advise me at all... I tried this drill at the range today, to see what would happen. What it showed was that I swung underplane loads and hit either big draws or behind the ball... But, I was balanced. Although I severely lifted up and somehow managed to keep balance 😂. Any thoughts?
Make sure your trail foot from a feet together position goes straight back and not outwards and back as this would give you too much balance and allow you to get too much under the plane.
If this is good ask yourself are your dots lined up. You may need to feel the the torso is slightly more over the lead hip at impact
@@DanielMaude thank you for the response! Yeah, it is straight back. I just manage to move my hips forward and my head up to whilst swinging. Surprised I cab manage that. I will try with my torso over my lead leg
This drill is brilliant. I used it and immediately began hitting the ball better. I have battled away for years. Thank you this has changed my irons. The only confusion I have now is my driver. I hit it all over the place. Thank you so much I actually hit the green with an approach shot after using this drill :)
Brilliant, well done
After years of swinging “ down the line” I tried swinging the downswing on a arc. I immediately heard that nice “ crack” that one gets with compression of the ball and my body turn through the finish seemed effortless. Combine this lessen with “ Swing The Handle” by Alex Fortney and you should see immediate improvement.
Wayne Willis that’s great to hear Wayne, thanks for sharing
My new favorite drill. Helped me with every club S thru driver. Does wonders for better contact, and really helped me shake the hooks. Highly recommend.
That’s brilliant, thanks for sharing
"You're sometimes unable to transfer that knowledge into better ball striking ..." No, shit, Danny! Thanks for the vid, it helps.
Kim Hannemann my pleasure Kim, always appreciate your feedback
Thanks, Danny. I think this will help me to keep me on balance , and swing with nice golf swing.
Love to hear how you get on Oscar
It is like Danny watches me play golf and then decides what video to make according to my faults
Funny, Ive got eyes every where
Had a back operation 5 weeks ago only started playing golf again July last year after a 6 year lay off due to a really bad back injury . Took that long to recover enough to play again practiced constantly day after day at the range and the golf club i joined . I used the feet together drill to start with my ball striking started to get really good start the beginning of this playing great considering. But due to alot of back problems during the summer having to take time off to recover . Then start playing again subsequently my game has deserted me just had another 5 weeks off after a procedure to repair nerve damage . Played to today for the first time in 5 weeks had a shocker that bad i nearly walked off and give the game up forever as my iron game was exactly as you described I hit tops or weak hooks ,which is so frustrating as I used to hit a very powerful iron , came home discovered your video on RUclips now i am determined to work hard and use your drill start from the beginning again . So thanks keep up the good work as your videos are easy to understand and follow with great tips on technique . Thank John.
This answered a long time problem with my swing. Best golf coach on you tube
Really happy to help Glenn, appreciate the support
Thank you Danny! I have that problem also! Came off the golf course yesterday feeling down!! My golf swing had collapsed into leaning back and my iron shots were so bad!! Now I have something to work on!! Brilliant.
Thats great, love to hear how you get on
Watched this clip a year ago - but today again and went to the course with it. Had the first time ever divots - and even on every iron shot! Used the one-legged balance position on the round, too (at times). Great drill and truely deserves the "magic" title from my point of view/my experience. Thx a lot, Danny.
My pleasure, really happy to help
Good video! One tip I heard or read somewhere that has helped me tremendously is to imagine the ball as a clock face with 12 pointing/facing the target. Now you want to imagine making club contact with the ball at 7 o'clock. It's absolutely impossible to do if you're 'casting' the club. To hit 7 o'clock you must get your hands and body ahead of the club. Helped me a bunch to imagine this as I swing, hopefully this helps someone else out there. Hit em well folks!
Wow. Makes so much sense. I'm one of those who gets hooked on 'guiding' the club. Very wrong. I was a pitcher when I played baseball. In the early years I was 'guiding' the pitch often, just to insure the ball went where I wanted it to go when throwing fastballs. Very wrong according to my coach. Just relax and 'throw' the ball making full use of the rest of my body as usual. Just like what Danny says about 'throwing the club' and doing all the other body movement as usual. HUGE difference now with all of my clubs.

Just gained a subscriber. I played a very good game at about 15 years old but never had any lessons etc. Just seemed to pick it up without trying. Im now 30 and after over a 10 year gap i was sstruggling with contact so badly. Im gonna try this drill tomorrow thankyou so much ! I also game mizuno blades mp32 which isnt helping but im not shelling out on irons as i have just paid my years memebership at highcliffe castle.
Question: do you throw the club including the shaft or do you throw the clubhead to the ball ?
A Ge I throw everything but if you ask me what I feel I do, I feel it in the club head
I throw the whole damn club farther than the ball when I chunk it!
One of the best swing tutorials I’ve ever seen thanks
Older video, i have a terrible time hitting my irons solid, and consistently, can't wait to get out and do this. GREAT video. Danny your the best.😊
Excellent lesson; simple and makes great sense. Balance is SO important in the swing.
it is indeed, its something that is often overlooked, thanks for commenting
Danny, again brilliant. May I suggest that we can have forward shaft lean, excellent angles yet still move our apex (“bottom”) behind the ball? Many of your followers may appreciate this. I offer this simply because many excellent instructors (in my humble opinion) demonstrate errors that some of us do not demonstrate. Keep up the AWESOME teaching - a forever fan!
Another to the point no nonsense video. Brilliant teacher.
Thank you Shaun, always appreciator the feedback
So much for golf instructors who always say ‘swing out to one o’clock’. Many thanks Danny - the penny has finally dropped👏
Awesome 👏
Danny, I watched this video before my round today and I was amazed at how well it enable me to make solid contact with all my clubs, especially my irons which I hit “fat” far too often. I really concentrated on keeping the three dots aligned. I did not chunk a shot the entire round and my contact was crisp! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
@paulshanahan135 amazing really glad my videos are helping you. Thank you for your support 🙏🏻
Thank you Danny you have made it easy to understand and it works good luck and stay safe 👍.
That’s great Richard, thanks so much for the feedback
Just come across this channel and it’s excellent. I’m a half decent player playing off 12 handicap and still can hit the ball a bit fat, especially in winter. I can get away with it in summer, but the feedback I’ve got from this is great. It’s really helped my game. Thanks 🙏
Thats great, thanks for taking the time to share your progress
Danny I just took a lesson yesterday and I was experiencing the same fault in my swing. This tip is one of the best I have ever viewed. Thank you and keep the tips coming. Ed Kirsteins New York USA
pleasure Ed, really happy to help
My entire life I have tried to steer the club head down the line and dropped back like this video. I always thought releasing left throwing the club would cause a slice. Wow, this is a big piece of knowledge. Thank you Danny!
Pleasure Steve, all the best
Good one Danny. I have done this before, but forgot about it. I didn't put my right foot quite that far back, but actually played a round like this and CRUSHED my driver and 3 wood. I hit a 6 iron uphill to about 2 feet. Thanks for the reminder, Im going to use this again.
Perfect, thanks Fenton for taking the time to feed. back
I’ve been using the right foot slightly back and it has really helped me compress the ball and I’ve had beautiful balance and proper pivot and finish.
That’s wonderful news, thanks for sharing
Thanks Danny, I realise this is the reason I sway around…hopefully I can put your advice into my game.
That's another good one for forward lean shaft. Thanks.
Another excellent, helpful video from enthusiastic ,outstanding coach.I have made brief notes on many of his videos & his advice has improved my game. Thank you Danny.
Alan Goudie thank you and sorry I missed this comment
Most of your videos cover fixes for problems that I myself have. This is another one. Balance is a big issue for me. This looks like a great drill to try when I practice this week. Thanks Danny.
Gerry Waneck hope this helps Gerry
I watched this video last night. Took it to the range today. Amazing is all I can say. Found some of my old distance, impact was much more consistent. Hit nice high draw with irons. Divot pattern the way it should be. I still have a left arm chicken wing but when totally comfortable with this change, will look here for that fix. Thank you.
Brilliant, well done Michael
@@DanielMaude what would you recommend for the chicken wing I have? Been many years. I also shared the video on my Facebook page. Thanks
Michael Amira the chicken wing occurs due to a lack of rotation through impact. If you check out my video I released last week titled effortless golf swing...this will really help
So glad I found you. You’re a great teacher!
Thanks so much! Great to have you here
This is a good one. If your swing is not allowing you to stay in balance - - the swing is wrong.....my new routine is: 2 balance swing (as above), 2 practice swings and then the swing....thanks Danny. bb
BILL BROWN love this idea for a pre shot routine Bill...thanks for sharing
Took this for a spin this morning and was pleasantly surprised, it works! Great ball contact and distance BUT throwing the club leads to a pronounced hook and without the throw the ball was often pushed. I'll work on it and again, liked what I was doing, thank you Danny Maude. Best wishes from Japan.

Just sent it on to golf friends with similar problems.
