      Yes, I sometimes call it cross-generational intelligence or memory but I'm sure evolution has a better term for it. The fact that there's an underlying memory, intelligence, and imagination within every living being that transfers to the next one. I know some people will say "that's just DNA" but it feels like more is going on than that. I suppose it's the closest thing to a God we have (the 'greater mind' within all living beings).

    • @myname-ns1rp
      @myname-ns1rp 2 года назад +12

      DNA is a coding language. Anyone who can't see that is willfully suppressing the truth. It's just a fact. No, dust and water and lightning didn't make code over billions of years. If you found a Shakespeare sonnet laying on a beach, you don't say time and chance produced it. You know an intelligent person made it. Same with DNA. Very simple to understand God made all life. That's not to say especiation from a broader genome to a more specific expression doesn't occur, but that's a loss of data, not gains over time. Close to all mutations are deleterious upon the genome.

    if you focus in on the "shadowing" effect the patterns create, it makes it pretty much impossible to notice that the cuttlefish was slowly moving towards the camera, i think i've found exactly how the "mesmerizing" mechanic works.
    when the dark stripes head down and towards the face, in the opposite direction the cuttlefish is moving, it creates a "movement camoflage" to onlookers, to trick them into thinking that the cuttlefish is stationary.

    I had a cuttlefish try to mesmerize me as I was too curious and wanted to touch it. It ended up doing flashy patterns and moving its tentacles pulling a Jedi mind trick on me "these are not the cuttlefish you are looking for"

      Hi Anton, I’m a big fan of your channel. I tried to suggest to you earlier to do an episode on the Permian extinction and it’s possible link to a large crater found beneath the Antarctic Ice. Don’t know if you saw that. University of Ohio researchers have theorized that the asteroid strike, and the roughly antipodal Siberian traps that flowed around the time of Permian extinction were related to the greatest mass extinction of all time.
      I suggest you to please look into this. Thanks!
      Edit: sorry for the segue. I love cuttlefish too. They have superpowers, by comparison to other animals in the ocean of the same size. 🙂🙂🙂
