I was so upset after Bob’s death that I watched a bunch of interviews of Sean Astin on RUclips to remind myself that he was still alive in real life. This season was traumatic.

I honestly think it was so dumb how he forgot the gun in the room. Like ik that Hand Guns don’t kill Demogorgans, but I just don’t understand why he didn’t take the gun when he was escaping.
I like how Steve gets broken up with and instead of sulking over it for the rest of the season, he becomes one of the greatest moms that can rival Bruno.
The only thing I love is the line James use "Trying to hurt Steve Harrington? Ooh you better believe that's a needlin" Cuz the way he said it is hilarious

The ending where Nancy dances with Dustin is so sweet. I had a similar night at my freshman homecoming in high school. Ended up having a panic attack because anxiety, and one of the kids from the junior class saw me huddled in a corner. Sat and talked me down, then danced with me. Weird how little things like that stay crystal clear.
"The Lost Sister" is actually a fantastic episode, and really crucial for El's character development.... when watched on its own. But it's understandably hated due to its placement in the middle of the climax of the season. Personally, I think it was a dumb idea to make it a standalone episode. There is literally NO REASON why El's storyline couldn't have been running simultaneously with the events back in Hawkins, playing out over 2-3 episodes. It would actually make a LOT more sense time-wise, as it's obvious she couldn't travel to Chicago and back and spend a day with her sister in the time shown.

Take the first section of "The Lost Sister." Eleven travelling to Chicago was on the same night that Hopper was entangled in vines and Will had a uh... seizure? Whatever you call them. Moreover, the section of Ep7 was quite long, and there was simply no way to have put it within those climactic events without making the scenes seem out of place. The same goes with pretty much every other section in Ep7. A reason Ep7 was placed right at the climax was that if Eleven went to Chicago to see Kali, she would need a reason to come back. In this case, it would be because his friends were in danger after witnessing a picture of the events back at Hawkins through the void. If Ep7 was running simultaneously with Ep6, the gap between the real event and the vision inside the void would be small and the scene of the void would not be as powerful. A whole episode-difference between the two was enough to remind us of the climactic events back at Hawkins and gets the series back to the main story. Sure, they could've put "The Lost Sister" after Ep5 instead of Ep6, but Ep5 ends on Will's fire-seizure, and a sudden cut from the mini-climax would have a similar effect as the cut from the end of Ep6. Moreover, a few important scenes in "The Lost Sister" wouldn't make sense if it played after Ep5, and we've discussed earlier on why we couldn't separate those scenes and run them simultaneously with Ep6. Sorry for writing a whole damn essay on my reasoning of why "The Lost Sister" is placed where it is. Also, sorry about my bad english.

The whole scene with the 3 teams -The party + Steve vs The Tunnels -Byers + Nancy trying to Get The Mind Flayer out of Will -Hopper and 11 closing the gate Was extremely well put together
@Miguel Messina Not really, I don't have the time (or dedication) to see some long horror movies or entire seasons of a series (also either movies/series I don't want to commit to) so it is nice to get a summarized version with commentary
The first half of this Kill Count actually got me interested in Strangers Things and I binged all 3 Seasons across 2 days, I don't know why I waited so long to watch it. Now, I'm awaiting the Season 3 Kill Count (which you take as long as you need with and is currently my favourite Season) and Stranger Things 4 which is still aways out. Regardless, I’d like to thank you for getting me into this amazing series

I feel like they should have made Eleven channel hope and love for her friends/Hopper instead of anger at the end when she’s closing the gate. It would have been an effective way of showing that she didn’t want to do things the way her sister taught her (channeling hate, rage, and revenge) and could have be a great way of making her more powerful since love trumps hate.
The thing with the “Lost sisters” episode is I don’t think it’s bad, it would be a decent episode if it wasn’t an episode of stranger things, every time I watch it I forget I’m watching stranger things. It just seems like a different show.
Honestly, I think they shouldn’t of added it because it pushed away from the main plot and felt pretty dang unnecessary. But it was pretty OK my friend
I remember the season 2. It's such a good season of emotional scenes, good special effects, and the actors and actress' jobs were way too perfect. I'm really going to love season 4.

I did the math so the total kills over the first two seasons were 67, consistent of 38 men, 8 women, 25 Unidentifiable, and 1 Demogorgon. Over the 17 episodes, this averages out to 3.94 kills per episode. 56.72% of the kills were male, 11.94% were female, 29.85% were unidentifiable and, 1.49% were demogorgons.
I expected Bob to die during that whole sequence, but when he managed to shut the door I actually thought he made it. And that made his death right after hit harder. And the way you see all the sticky, nasty saliva and blood as the demos tear into him. I was stunned.
I feel like the lost sister episode isn’t as bad as people think. In multiple episodes different people tell El she’s found her ‘home’. In fact every place she goes tells her that exact thing. It’s only after she realises how much her friends need her and how much she needs them that she knows where her real home is, with Hopper and her friends. It makes sense for her character that season since she’s trying to find out who she is and where she belongs.
The episode was super boring and worst of all killed the pacing. The previous episode literally ends with the demo dogs invading Hawkins Lab and the next episode is Eleven getting a punk hairstyle. It was shit plain and simple
I feel like the placement of where it was at and the pacing of how it went was clunky. The actual concept was super neat, which people should appreciate, but I do agree with why so many hate it. It just took away from the thrill we were feeling right before
I think season 2 as a whole is a good thing. It's clearly the weakest of the 3 seasons, but it's good for directors to experiment and try things out like this. Now they know that we all hate it, so we won't have to expect any more in the future.
You have no idea how happy it made me when you mentioned the warriors, it's absolutely my favorite movie ever and I'm glad my favorite youtuber knows and mentioned them on a count... speechless right now
I used to avoid stranger things for the longest time, but when you made the kill count for season one, i watched it and was instantly hooked. Immediately I watched every season and have been looking forward to this for awhile 😊

For the show so far nothing tops the end of season two where everyone’s together preparing to fight each character bantering with another one on one or someone they haven’t before. Just makes that ending so special to see

I feel like they should have made Eleven channel hope and love for her friends/Hopper instead of anger at the end when she’s closing the gate.
It would have been an effective way of showing that she didn’t want to do things the way her sister taught her (channeling hate, rage, and revenge) and could have be a great way of making her more powerful since love trumps hate.
It’s almost like they heard you for Season 4.

The thing with the “Lost sisters” episode is I don’t think it’s bad, it would be a decent episode if it wasn’t an episode of stranger things, every time I watch it I forget I’m watching stranger things. It just seems like a different show.

I expected Bob to die during that whole sequence, but when he managed to shut the door I actually thought he made it. And that made his death right after hit harder. And the way you see all the sticky, nasty saliva and blood as the demos tear into him. I was stunned.

I feel like the lost sister episode isn’t as bad as people think. In multiple episodes different people tell El she’s found her ‘home’. In fact every place she goes tells her that exact thing. It’s only after she realises how much her friends need her and how much she needs them that she knows where her real home is, with Hopper and her friends. It makes sense for her character that season since she’s trying to find out who she is and where she belongs.

The episode was super boring and worst of all killed the pacing. The previous episode literally ends with the demo dogs invading Hawkins Lab and the next episode is Eleven getting a punk hairstyle. It was shit plain and simple
I feel like the placement of where it was at and the pacing of how it went was clunky. The actual concept was super neat, which people should appreciate, but I do agree with why so many hate it. It just took away from the thrill we were feeling right before
I think season 2 as a whole is a good thing. It's clearly the weakest of the 3 seasons, but it's good for directors to experiment and try things out like this. Now they know that we all hate it, so we won't have to expect any more in the future.
