It’s genuinely a fresh breath of air to see something poke fun at both sides. Most ‘poke fun at both sides’ things always are extremely biased with 1 or 2 jokes for one side, and about 80 minutes worth of jokes against the other.
I loved how they broke several movie cliches like the 'oh he's the good looking guy helping the girl cliche But my favorite broken cliche is how the main villain stands off with the protagonist...only to learn she got the wrong target.
I love how strange Crystal acts in this movie using common street knowledge to stop bullshit right away but the scene where she kick the guy from the car is amazing! How she is just like “yeah dont like this” and makes such a weird noise and goes about turning to him in such an odd way no one know how to react.

I’m an absolute sucker for these “the movie plot is so silly it’s likeable” kind of movies. This one, Spree, and like all of those weird animatronic movies are almost guilty pleasures for me, they’re addicting and your kill counts of them make them so much better.
And on the other side of the pond, we watch in disbelief and horror. I hope this rift doesn't get bigger, people need to regain their confidence in the scientific achievements we as humanity gathered in the past centuries and their ability to discuss with and accept others that think differently. It's sad that politics seem to be more important to some than the fact that we're all in the same boat together. If we don't stop rocking the boat, we're all going to drown together.

When the handsome guy gets killed by the landmine, it really reminds me of the intro of the movie Feast. Where a man shows up, being introduced as The Hero and then instantly gets killed by the monsters.

If someone was just as ready to kill you or a loved one, 5 minutes earlier, are you going to hesitate simply because they have tits instead of testicles? I can tell you with 99.999 percent certainty, that I'm not going to hesitate. And I don't have military training beyond learning shooting and martial arts from a career marine father, and a NYSP grandfather. If it's you or me, and only one of us is going home, I'm making damn sure it's ME. That simple. Even if all I have is hands, feet, and teeth. Only one rule in that situation. Survive.
That and she isn't afraid to give her bad-ass character some fun quirks. For example the rickety noises she made when she was about to kick that fake driver out of the car.
I love this movie, because it does sweep you off your feet for at least the first 20-30 minutes and still leaves things unanswered. You never know whether you’re really with the protagonist until everyone is dead, and who Krystal really is. She served in Afghanistan, but the confusion over whether she is Justice4Yall is still unanswered due to the fact that Krystal could just be lying to put a little more salt in the wound. Or she really isn’t Justice4Yall and she just has a keen sense of what is going on. It’s left unclear, even with Krystal saying she isn’t, as we never see any proof beyond “I’m not” and the fact she seems more intelligent than her posts made her out to be. It’s an interesting ending, and leaves it fairly open ended while not needing more.
That's a good point, especially given the jackrabbit she sees right after. You could interpret her as the rabbit from her story and her lie (assuming she really is the right Krystal) as his visit to the turtle's family.
The reason the dead meat channel is so special is cause the amount of effort James,Chelsea and all the others put into the videos including everyone and even behind the scenes. Thank you dead meat team for playing such a special role in my life

Okay I can confidently say the most underrated joke in this kill count is "Athena using a wooden light fixture to ring Crystal's Liberty Bell", it's just perfect.
Honestly, the where Athena is explaining the texts where a joke and they obviously weren't hunting people and Crystal just keeps pointing out they are, in fact, hunting people is my favourite part of the entire movie. "But, you are hunting people."

What part of this is both sides? The only person to survive was the wrong woman who had no opinion. They still brutally killed all of the deplorables and then made a backstory to justify the hunters. Making jokes about NPR and brutally depicting the deaths of Fox News caricatures isn’t both sides. It’s pretty messed up.

This was honestly such an underrated movie. A great commentary and seriously just stupid funny too lol. The whole “I wasn’t even the girl you were looking for” twist was out of left field and I loved it. This is a movie equivalent of “can everyone just stop fighting” lmao
It wasn’t out of left field, it was critical to the theme of the movie. The hero couldn’t be any of the “fake news” deplorables. This was porn for people who hate half their countrymen and the filmmakers either deliberately or subconsciously knew their audience wouldn’t root for an actual deplorable. Notice how the heroine never has an opinion, she’s just smarter than everyone else and otherwise quiet. I wanted to give this a chance because I hate knee jerk public reactions, but no this movie reflects some real issues with the people who made it and excuse it.

I love this movie, because it does sweep you off your feet for at least the first 20-30 minutes and still leaves things unanswered. You never know whether you’re really with the protagonist until everyone is dead, and who Krystal really is. She served in Afghanistan, but the confusion over whether she is Justice4Yall is still unanswered due to the fact that Krystal could just be lying to put a little more salt in the wound. Or she really isn’t Justice4Yall and she just has a keen sense of what is going on. It’s left unclear, even with Krystal saying she isn’t, as we never see any proof beyond “I’m not” and the fact she seems more intelligent than her posts made her out to be. It’s an interesting ending, and leaves it fairly open ended while not needing more.
That's a good point, especially given the jackrabbit she sees right after. You could interpret her as the rabbit from her story and her lie (assuming she really is the right Krystal) as his visit to the turtle's family.

It’s rare these days that a movie makes fun of both sides equally. This movie really does a great job of making everyone out to suck in one way or another
What part of this is both sides? The only person to survive was the wrong woman who had no opinion. They still brutally killed all of the deplorables and then made a backstory to justify the hunters. Making jokes about NPR and brutally depicting the deaths of Fox News caricatures isn’t both sides. It’s pretty messed up.

This was honestly such an underrated movie. A great commentary and seriously just stupid funny too lol.
The whole “I wasn’t even the girl you were looking for” twist was out of left field and I loved it.
This is a movie equivalent of “can everyone just stop fighting” lmao
It wasn’t out of left field, it was critical to the theme of the movie. The hero couldn’t be any of the “fake news” deplorables. This was porn for people who hate half their countrymen and the filmmakers either deliberately or subconsciously knew their audience wouldn’t root for an actual deplorable. Notice how the heroine never has an opinion, she’s just smarter than everyone else and otherwise quiet. I wanted to give this a chance because I hate knee jerk public reactions, but no this movie reflects some real issues with the people who made it and excuse it.
