The “Do you still want to see my face?” Line really unsettled me. I honestly wish they never revealed Mitch’s face, because his somewhat creepy yet kinda cute mask combined with his gentle tone of voice left a lot to the imagination, which is a lot scarier than imagery.
That'd be cool, I like the idea of maybe you see him picking the mask back up and putting it back on, but it's done in a way where you don't see what he looks like. I like that they didn't go the route of making the killer's silent.
Yeah not gonna lie all I do is listen to dead meat and a few other channels while I mow properties so I tend to get accustomed to peoples voices and mannerisms and I just couldn’t listen to anyone else doing the kill counts but I do have a lot respect for the crew that took over it’s hard to fill someone shoes and I hear a lot of people like the other people so that’s always great to hear, we all appreciate the team and James ❤️

I'm so used to watching horror movie kill counts with open ended or downer endings, that seeing one where the protagonist is a smart badass who kills the main bad guy at the very end is just.....so satisfying. Excellent, 10/10

Part of what I love about the writing of the jokes and James’ delivery of them is that he doesn’t linger on them. It feels like it’s done in a way where if someone doesn’t get the joke, they don’t feel alienated because the count moves right along. Possibly an unintentional side effect of the style, but I like it!
Love seeing all the other commenters who, like me, you have become a routine part of our weeks/days and we couldn’t thank you enough for all you and your team do! Dead Meat has helped me through a lot of times where I have felt lonely or sad and I just decided I’d go back and rewatch an episode, or a new one had just released. Thank you for all you do
Honestly love that James seems so reinvigorated and passionate about his videos , think the break and the addition of the team made me feel so much more connected to the channel . Long Live Dead Meat
I imagine eventually a channel like this is going to need some periodic breaks as time goes on. If not from burnout, then from the fact that they can produce Kill Counts faster than horror movies are released (at least ones worth making videos for.) Not to say that they’re running out of content. There’s plenty of horror/counting to go around.
I think instead of domestic abuse, they should had Harper deal with anxiety/depression because I feel like that way, she is still wearing a mask because she’s not okay and doesn’t take you out of the movie compared to the domestic abuse.
This was the first movie I watched on Shudder and I subscribed to Shudder because of you. You and Chelsea are responsible for my resurgence in horror movie love. Thank you guys for everything you do

Love all the work that the dead meat team does it’s gotten to the point where it helps me sleep and get work done specially since James voice is soothing yet comforting
I loved how since the movie has no qualms treating the protagonists as poorly as possible and killing them off and being so serious and dark, the ending where she tricks and kills the clown was practically a twist. The way the rest of the film went, I expected a cliff hanger or the villain winning.
Long time viewer of Dead Meat. This was the first community and account that I felt relatable to horror fanatics. Thanks for all you do for many of us. Whether it's just enjoying the videos to making people feel seen for their passions, the whole team is doing an amazing job.
For someone who lives in a small Kentucky town, absolutely dope to hear that a horror film was shot around here. I feel like a lot of Kentucky is perfect landscape for horror.
When the main character said she "grew up in a haunted house" I can totally relate. I was also in a d.v situation for 3 years. I look back at that time and it truly feels like I was in a horror movie. So I honestly like the d.v story line its pretty close to reality

Watched this for the first time last year, SUCH an amazing movie. I love that there isn’t constant, over dramatic music blasting in the background. Just the atmosphere of the “haunted” house!
I love how dead meat is the ONLY channel where I watch the sponsors bc he makes the sponsor bit loads of fun. I really appreciate the little things like that. You and your team are doing amazing :)
Haunt is such a good horror because it strips back anything fancy and ironically that makes it really unique and brutally hocking learning just how simple everything is here. No supernatural elements, no added fluff, just real life monsters going to work.
Justin and Chaney are so kind. I met them at a convention last year and spent 20 minutes just chatting with justin about his convention experience and what’s going on in each others lives. It almost caught me off guard with him being so soft spoken. And Chaney was talking about how he really wanted to spin the hammer in his hands in his kill scene but Beck/Woods wouldn’t let him. They have a miniseries together on RUclips called Quad Cities.
Holy crap!!! 7:03 is the Albion haunted school! I live just down the mountain from it and am actually working as a actor there this year! Out of the many.... MANY haunted attractions I've both visited or actually worked Albion Haunted School is among the best of the best. Highly recommend if you are a a big fan of this type of stuff! There is one part of the attraction where you actually have to crawl through the real and confiend maintenance tunnel under the school as well as crawl through a real broken cement wall in the basement to keep going. All naturally apart of the actual abandoned school building, not just made for the haunt.
Loved the constant feeling of unease when watching this. You know that somethings gonna go down so everything they do, you just sit there flinching, waiting for it, wondering if it's gonna be now or not. The suspense is awesome!
I’m getting ready for school, and I am so excited because there is a new kill count this morning, and I’m going to see Halloween ends in theaters later today. And on top of all of this, me and James just happened to be wearing the same shirt! What a wonderful day! It just keeps getting better and better!

I'll be watching this during my lunch break, but so happy you're covering this movie!!! One of my favorites from the last few years. Definitely consider it a comfort movie (and I've rewatched more times than I can count) ❤️
honestly it's weird how few horror movies take place in haunted houses considering how good of a setup that is, it completely excuses one of the biggest critiques of the genre, that being characters that react way to casually about scary shit, but in a haunted house? it's expected, so it's natural that they wouldn't really react
16:57 right after that door explodes when the girl puts the key in the music box, it cuts to an AD and there's an immediate explosion as a guy runs through a wall and starts talking to a bunch of people! The explosions were seamless one after the other and It worked out perfectly!

I laughed very, very hard when I realized the 'nose ring' was just in his nostril. All over a good video, and the well-timed comedy from our host helped make the darker themes bearable!
the skits in this really got me laughing! Also I love the new stat connections you're doing between different kill counts, it's cool. The fact that you always add in background and other factoids that really elevate the watch experience :3
James : then he nails it
Person : pulls leg off a nail💀
I'm on a "Dead Meat" and "CZworld" marathon to get me hyped up for this year's Halloween.
Btw, James, I think tomorrow I'm gonna watch "Halloween Ends". I'm super excited!! Did you see it?
Yeah he went to the premier with Chelsea
Be careful. Don’t go to the newest comments, some asshole spoiled it.
Hope you enjoy the movie
