Recently moved to Oregon from Colorado where the town I lived in was one of the best ski / bike towns in America now I live about an hour out of Portland and there really aren't many trails within an hour drive which is a new experience for me I just used to be able to grab my bike and ride to the trails from my house

Thanks for sharing this. Living in Arkansas, the trail growth is happening at a whirlwind pace but it’s all machine cut highway. There are some good hand-cut trails. Raven’s Ridge was my favorite trail system out there!

I wouldn't exactly say NEAR Portland. It's about a 45 min. drive.
