- Of all the creatures of the sea, few are as strange and surreal as the sea jelly, better known as "jellyfish." Their most famous feature, of course, is their stinging tentacles. But from there, they get even more unusual.
As our guide, meet Evonne Mochon-Collura: the ‘Jelly Mom.’ “Oregon Field Guide” goes behind the scenes with her at the Oregon Coast Aquarium and out in the ocean to learn more about the fascinating world of sea jellies.

Jellies are calming and fascinating at the same time. I completely understand your love for them, and for your work! The Newport aquarium is an extraordinary treasure. Thanks to everyone who is a part of this great work.
They are absolutely beautiful. I notice at least once a year I find so many jellies and pieces of these jellies on the beach. Comb jellies too. It’s kind of sad, not sure what’s going on there.
Just moments ago I was considering acquiring myself a jellyfish as a pet and this is recommended. Quality video.

A little more information about the parasites that eat the sea jellies would have been nice.
Liked video 👍
Could that have been the original Medusa concept. Having to eradicate Medusa may have been an overpopulation of jellfish.
Jelly fish!
You are confused.

So just what are we? Oh yeah, that 's right, we're rocks! At least some of us are hard headed enough to qualify!!
